FreeGlobe: He had only a Koran and Bible? Both were made available to him, but there is nothing in Mr. Annan's narrative to suggest that he read either. ![]() In any case, if i were thrown in jail under the same circumstances as Abiola was, i would read and meditate deeply on even the Kama Sutra, if it was the only available piece of print. In the dank, dark and depressing depths of solitary confinement, almost any collection of written words would provide a compass by which one may safely follow the path of reason when lunacy presses in on every side. |
we found the Nigerians had lent us a very differentHa ha ha. A very incisive and thoroughly captivating narrative. All in all, it sounds like something from a Frederick Forsyth novel. |
Dino Melaye, whoever he is, can bring this very interesting matter to a favourable and very profitable conclusion. All the man has to do is bring an action in Defamation against whoever published that very watery tale that has dragged his good name in the mud, and which will henceforth cause members of the opposite sex to regard his d¡ck with distrust. Now here's the catch. It is a COMPLETE defence to an action in defamation to prove that the supposedly defamatory material one has published is actually the TRUTH, without any embellishments. So there will be a lot to be inferred if the supposedly honourable Dino Melaye refrains from taking that very sure path to vindication. Sue them all, Horñy Dino, or be forever doomed to a sad life of involuntarily celibacy. |
I forgive the OP, but only on account of this poster: larride: Lord, Please forgive me, You told me not to VIEW this THREAD but i disobey. ![]() |
coogar: can the men join this group? When i read the bolded part i thought for a second the next statement was going to be; A lot of UK-based Nigerian women in the 25-45 age group are... men ![]() I apologise for the digression. ![]() |
I've only just run through your latest posts because i've got other very pressing issues to attend to right now, but even the skimming was enough to arouse keen interest, and i have now saved the page so i can take a more careful look later. Good work you've done here, and may God's Grace be with you too. |
Ihedinobi: Thank you. I plan and hope to finish it this weekend. Please keep an eye out for it.Will do. |
A compelling exposition. Waiting eagerly for the next. |
Mynd_44: You did not know?I do now. |
ifyalways: Calloti!!!Callotti is female? Who woulda thought? |
2. Siena: Because his immense knowledge of automobiles is simply jaw-dropping. His in-depth analysis of complex mechanical issues and numerous engineering pet projects demonstrate his expertise, and offer proof that his technical savvy is well over the head of most others. 1. Jakumo: Because this fellow is a nutter. A polymath, Jakumo will thrill you with a humorous (and usually lengthy) exposition on virtually ANY topic broached, whether it involves aeronautics, nigerian politics, military hardware, or pòrnògraphy. He constantly claims that his interest in the last subject is of a purely academic nature. Wily wit and sarcasm are his trademarks, and he handles words with the flair a skilled brazilian might display with a soccer ball. His views aren't always politically correct, sometimes they are in fact outlandish. But when Jakumo makes a post, i immediately dive into it in search of that dose of repartee that rarely fails to give me a good laugh. |
If you are curious enough to google the very word 'coincidence', you will be sure to encounter stories that match and perhaps surpass that really chilling trick fate played on the two presidents. The tale of Major Summerford ranks high among my favourites, as well as that of Joseph Figlock and the careless mother. Perhaps the most bizarre of them all is the story of certain unnamed brothers who met with death on separate occasions at a certain junction in Bermuda. Each had been riding the very same motorbike, been struck by the very same taxi, which was of course driven by the particular driver on each occasion. And what is even more incredible is that said taxi had the same passenger in it on both occasions. The accidents are said to have occurred exactly a year apart. Creepy eh? |
It looks quite like a Beemer. |
Game pads. Smashed one against my left palm in frustration once. Gathered the smithereens a while later with a broom and a very heavy heart. ![]() |
Frankyshaky: if you are a female and have beard people think you are wicked ![]() |
It isn't really my favourite verse, but each time i consider it, I'm awed by the guile of that lawyer and the subtlety of the question, 'who then is my neighbour?' Jesus' reply is even more compelling. |
Love Knows No End by Hillsong, from the Cornerstone Album. |
AjanleKoko: Don't be distressed. ![]() Okay o! |
AjanleKoko: Who's arguing with you, eediot? It probably shouldn't be any of my business, but it distresses me to see you use language like that, sir. I'm sure everyone would realise that you're being your usual calm and reasonable self if you simply ignore the lad. ![]() |
What's all the fuss about, really? Aren't young and brilliant graduates supposed to constitute the DRIVING FORCE of any decent economy? Ha ha |
The dishes are dirty!! Take cover!!! O_D_B: I have said it before and I will say it again; The best s3x I had was with a horse! ![]() And in WHOSE kitchen did this remarkable event take place? ![]() |
Richfella: Haba, is Mourinho your mum? ![]() |
Ha ha. I've always hated that appearance. |
drogs: . See your mouth. Wat do you mean by an empty vessel wen he has collection of medals in his cabinet and you've only got a fone dat you use for commenting rubbish on NL. ShiorMaybe it would help if you read my post again. |
Wallie: In the X5, only the rear wheels are on bags and even that generates an occasional "SUSPENSION LEVEL ERROR" after some time.Is this what's gives the X5 the ungainly look of a raised wheelbarrow? |
tomakint: The Clown is at it again, everly boastful and arrogant to high heavens! Have you heard of Bela Guttman, Helenio Herrera,Fabio Capello etc before, what is special about this one! You're right. He's conceited, noisy, controversial, and possess a host of other attributes that stem from an unhealthy dose of pride. HOWEVER, one thing no one can accuse Mou of being is an EMPTY VESSEL. In fact, many of his admirers are drawn by the smoothness and style with which he combines positive results and brash panache. ![]() I'm not going to call him The Only One, but that's only because i think The Special One sounds a lot more...well, special. ![]() |
violent: I'd go with the argument that the gate man should have used his discretion in this case. Although he had explicit orders to refuse customers from driving their cars into the company's premises, he had no such instruction to turn them down if they requested to see the company's Management. His refusal to allow access to the company's management was his own personal judgement which eventually cost the company a lot in revenue. This pretty much sums it up nicely. While it may be reasonable to say that low-cadre staff are better off following the rules and shelving their discretion, the guard DID employ discretion in denying the customer access to the manager. From the disclosed facts, the decision was wholly his, not company policy. Rules are hardly all-encompassing as the makers are scarcely able to anticipate every possible scenario that may arise. No matter how small, i reckon that an amount of discretion is left to the enforcer of the rule. It is simply unfortunate that his wisdom (or lack thereof) cost the company revenue. Perhaps the guard ought to be reprimanded for his pig-headedness, but i think the severity of the punitive measure here is extreme. |
Vicotex: buccanier nd pyrate has nuttin 2 do wit murdering or self distruction cos am a member of B.A.N , even if, buccanier nd pyrate dont kill easily cos is against d law of buccanierIndeed. But in certain extreme circumstances, such as when a cultist SUSPECTS a person of stealing his modem, it becomes absolutely imperative for the otherwise amiable bandit to use deadly force, and in a very gory form too. If you told this to a badling of dumb ducks who're repeating kindergarten, they'd immediately and unanimously quack their distrust. |
SimonAndal: _I totally agree with you on the point that the initial intention of the founding 'cultists' has been turned on its head, but isn't the bolded part of your post a sign that you may have worked up your disgust at the crime to unhealthy levels? What part of violent crime and gruesome murder is an exclusive trait of africans? |
Cedric Mandembo lost his ONLY judo match in 49 seconds. Perhaps his flight isn't wholly motivated by economic reasons. Ha ha ha |
Although it's always a terrible thing for one human being to deliberately take the life of another, the method used here is positively horrifying. That guy was stabbed repeatedly with the jagged edge of a broken bottle! In view of this and all other macabre trends that plague nigeria today, I just want everyone to know that I have gone another day without being stabbed repeatedly. I want to thank my friends who did not stab me repeatedly, commiserate with those who have been stabbed repeatedly, and thank the many people who contributed to the progress of the country by not stabbing me repeatedly. Without you, I might have been stabbed repeatedly, and would have been very unhappy. ![]() |
joey4jo: Where's that mod that bullies! Just wait for him. He'll soon pound on you. His latest victim. ![]() I almost died when i read the above post. |
