‎2005 (u20 - siasia) to 2007 (u17- late tella) to 2008 (olympics - siasia again). we need no soothsayer to tell us who the coach and players of the senior national team ought to have been. no thanks to NFF and ther lack of focus and direction.

i have followed recent posts/remarks about startimes tv and i think it's hightime i made my comment on it. the system came in at a time when the financial situation is not so good and people want to still keep in touch with events around the globe. i have seen the channels and they are not significantly different from other satellite tv providers except for the LIVE channels. i give the initiators thumbs up for providing such facilities at this financially trying time. i think on the whole they get an A+

1. very simple technology
2. no dish required
3. equipment quite affordable
4. no special skill required for installation
5. channel list not different from what others offer
6. subscription - very cheap and competitive

one thing is certain and that is we nigerians like something new - new car, new phone, new GSM provider, new sim, just name it. there is no crime trying this one out.

it's a big lesson for everyone living today - that no matter what status you attain and wealth you acquire in this life they shall all fade away like the morning star and you shall only be remembered by what you did and what you were when you were alive.
Sports / Re: Is Mikel The New Jj Okocha? by niddamugu(m): 11:17am On Oct 09, 2009
jj left a shoe, a cap, a jersey and above all a position too big for mikel or any other person (at least for now) to fill.
okocha is one player we miss and will continue to miss for a long time to come.
okocha is THE PLAYER.

you spoke my mind. siasia's performance so far has impressed me as a person and i think it's high time we gave him the job but not without making sure that the FA has very limited interference in his job. the case is simple - draw out a detailed job description for him with a long term result (- 4yrs at least) in mind and periodically evaluate his performance based on same.

DON'T waste your time trying to convincing people. you even sound like racketeer - remember GCE and JAMB of those days, when you used to jump over the fence to smuggle in answers. hhn?. those days are gone you were not pro-active to have diversified. now you still bring the old mentality into a new dispensation. FORGET BRO, we are wiser and better now.

different strokes for different folks.

i think this calls for caution especially when money is involved. we still have good bookshops everywhere just walk in and buy your books. there is almost no security in online trading especially when nigerians are involved. what we consider first is how to exploit the situation and make money without giving out anything. BE WARNED,

paye9x,

i hope you saw the time for the interview? what sane organisation would conduct interview at 7pm? or is it a cult initiation? men, wise up.
My request is based on the fact that the phone number (09-2902545) provided in the text message (for further inquiries) has not been going through ever since, and the web address of Ideaedge Consulting cannot be found. More so, the interview is scheduled for 7pm, October 12 (an hour I consider odd for such an exercise.
OLAJIDE,

this is now my vocation - exposing the evil in this forum and the society at large. the UBA you quoted has career column on their website and i am sure somebody in the HR is always looking into that periodically for suitable candidate(s). these guys now work like estate agents who put sign boards outside - TO LET: 2/3 bedrooms, mini-flat, duplex, etc. you just make the "mistake" of asking for inspection of anyone of the properties, then you would know you're in big trouble - extortion of various sums from you (okada, phone call, even pure water).

these recruitment agencies / vacancies are all (read my lips, ) FAKE.

thank you.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Vacant At Dove Recruit by niddamugu(m): 5:50pm On Oct 06, 2009
even you?. we know you. you need a better job than what you are doing. sell pure water in that shop you call office and you will see how much money you would make. 419ners have spoilt business for you all. everyone BEWARE!!!!!!! they are all THIEVES!!!!!!
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: To Attend An Interview With Ideaedge Consulting Over Neiti Job Application by niddamugu(m): 5:46pm On Oct 06, 2009
DMD,

this is now the in-thing. you can never get through to whatever line the text came from. they are fraudstars. ignore them. they are jobless and worthless criminals who take advantage of innocent people.

this is the latest vacancy scam. i am suprised this well respected forum allows scammers to deceive people. they are all fraud. they exist everywhere - ojuelegba, ipaja, ikeja, island, gbadaga, just name it. they send text on same subject matter and come check out the crowd - over 3000 and each person is expected to pay a certain amount before writing the test and guess what, ? everyone passes. the sent congratulatory text and still expects the same unemployed person to come with more money to collect letter to a non-existent company,

bro. thank God you did not attend. you would have been arrested. - esther breakthrough take note
