YACAA: PRAYER MONDAY
Our loving father, We praise you because you are just too much; words can not even describe how awesome, powerful, loving, merciful, and joyful you are. Thank you for always being there for us; in all seasons. Lord, as you have started a good thing in each of our lives, so shall you finish it; bringing all to perfection. Father, you know each and every ladies heart; her fears and weaknesses, her concerns and discomforts; please meet each of us at our point of need; reassuring us that all is well, and giving us the strength to face each day. Let each of us focus on the blooming flowers and the shining sun and the calm seas and the birds chirping happily into the blue sky. Let our days be full of joy and hope; may this season be enjoyed. Continue to mould our little ones in your perfect image; physically and spiritually. Take control of every labour room to be visited by each and every lady on here; that your will will be done. We also pray for all ladies looking to you to fulfil your promise of making them mothers; we declare it already done. Thank you because you are a good God; thank you because you are a loving Father. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. Amen Amen and amen |

YACAA: Alohaa beautiful mamas,
Congratulations to all those who have put to birth; and for those yet to, wishing you a safe and joyful birth experience.
PRAYER MONDAY
Father Lord, We praise you for who you are, and how lovingly you hold each of us dear to your hearts. Thank you for being such a good good father to us, and counting us worthy to look after these little ones you have blessed us with. Lord, it is you who gives children, and we know that whatever you have started you always perfect; so we proclaim that each of our pregnancies will end in praise; and you will guide us as to how to bring up each of these little ones. We declare that as we wait for our beautiful little ones to come out, you will grant us great health, joyful pregnancy experiences, and a deeper relationship with you to see things the way you see them. Fear will not be our portion no matter what medical personnel say; but rather, we will lean on your loving word that gives love, power, and sound mind. Continue to hold us delicately in your hands like eggs and never leave nor forsake us. In Jesus mighty name we pray. We love you father. Amen Amen |

I think carbonated and gaseous drinks are not too good, especially coke and such soft drinks in first trimester sha. I think soymilk is fine. Welcome again, NIFES Thanks very much for the quick response. Well appreciated. NIFES are actually my late twin babies names (Oluwanifemi & Monifeoluwa). It remains my question on Pregnacare Plus and Folic acid combo? Thanks once again. |

Hello everybody, Please I have been a silent observer/learner on this thread and I must say that I have learnt quite a lot. I have quite a number of questions but let ask this one first. I am in my 8th week (haven't started antenatal yet) and I want to know if it is safe for me to take malt drinks (like Maltina or Malta Guinness) and Soymilk (Vitamilk). I also want to ask if I need to take an extra dose of folic acid with the Pregnacare-Plus that I am taking currently Do kindly forgive if a similar question has been asked or discussed before now. Thank you and God bless. |

Thanks very much. I will do as advised. pweetymii: Welcome to our e.familia of amour @NIFES(which of the NIFES u be,lol) and @Mztubsy(choi,i almost bite my tongue),wishing u maamas a short and fruitful stay. @NIFES,it's good you are on folic acid, but,u should also see a gynae who will advise you to run a complete Hormonal assay and most likely Hsg.Don't worry, have no fear, affliction will not arise again, you will take in soon and God will make everything perfect. @Mztubsy,in addition to what maamas have said,if u can change ur undies after the treatment please do(it is advisable) and then,if u also can, when u wash, spread in the sun or iron if there is light. In addition to the antibiotics,u can buy a herbal tampon(guifei bao or clean point)it helps in treating Pid too.Hope this helps.. @mommatriplets,ur gynae should tell u how many units to buy except u are self medicating.Trigger shots are classified as cold chain so ensure u buy one that is brought out from the fridge,if u are not taking it immediately, some good pharmacies wud add ice blocks wen packing it for u. @rhukkie,happy born day.may this new year usher in every of ur heart desires. @adewilliams thanks for that uplifting bible passage. @janix2,how is u now, hope u are feeling better? |

Amen. Thank you very much. FruitfulRay: Welcome dearie... your stay will be short and fruitful in Jesus name. I think you should look for a good gynecologist and let him examine you. Also you need to do a hormone profile to determine what was the cause, and what might be preventing you from conceiving again. A friend of mine had a miscarriage sometime ago and she couldn't conceive after a year, she went to the doctors and it was through the hormonal profile that they discovered that her prolactin level was high, also the flushing wasn't done properly.
But most of all, be prayerful and believe that affliction shall not arise a second time, please be still and do not worry, God is in control. |

@ MariaBouli, Thanks very much. God bless you. Hi @NIFES, I am sorry about what happened to you and I hope everything will be great in your next pregnancy. As far as I am aware there are a couple of tests which are pretty important to do before and during trying to conceive. What I did was FSH Level, Thyroid, Testosterone and Progesterone tests to monitor my egg quality and hormones. I also tested my fallopian tubes with a Sonohysterogram. And what I am during right now is monior my ovulation and doing ovulation tests starting form 12 days from the first day of my period to try to see when does my ovulation usually happens and what is the best time to try [/quote] |

Hello to everybody in the house. Please I crave all your indulgence to asking this question; I have been following this thread silently since last December after I lost the second of my boy/girl twins at 2 months old due to chromosomal abnormality. The first twin (boy) was born sleeping also suspected to have been affected with the same issue. Now trying to conceive again but can't help but be worried over the past traumatic experience with the twins. A few of my numerous questions now are ; (1) If there is any preventive measure that can be taken against a re-occurrence (Note: I have been taken Folic Acid as advised for preconception) ? (2) If there is any test that I need to undergo to check my overall health (especially egg health) state to concieve Suggestions are most welcome please and if this is the wrong thread to post this question, kindly redirect me please. Please help a worried soul. Thank you all and God bless. |

yusfaith78: I think it takes France Embassy morethan a month to treat applications nowadays. My first application which was last year April took a month and 16 days before i got it. Last month I submitted for renewal and it's was after a month i got a call from the embassy asking me bring additional document. I wonder how long it's going to take before my application is out. I just thank God my travel date is 28th of April. So my advice is you always submit at least 2 months before your travel date @yusfaith78; Thanks for the enlightenment . But please is there any damage control action I can take now; e.g. sending a mail to the embassy notifying them of a change of travel date and backed up with necessary documents documents? Anybody with a suggestion on what to do please? Thank you all. |

Hello house; Please I just want to ask if anybody has recently got his/her tourist visa to France within the stipulated 15 working days processing time . I submitted my appilication at the VFS office in Lagos on 29th June stating 5th August as my proposed travel date. I am now a bit worried that the dates are too close as the consulate will be having a total of 6 days public holiday in the month of July as stated in their website. Any reassurance/opinion will be appreciated please. Thank you. |

Bisjosh: Thank you very much for this sensible post.
Was also thinking I could transfer money into someone's acct here and collect dirham but will I be charged for the transfer? No, you won't be charged anything above the regular online inter-bank transfer chargers which for me was (100 naira) as long as it is from one Nigerian bank to another and it is done via internet/mobile banking and not from any Dubai ATM. |
Business › Re: Wrong Charges Made On My Account By FCMB by NIFES(f): 1:10pm On Jun 09, 2016 |
@OP, Please note, POS transactions are different from ATM withdrawals. I used SKYE bank ATM in Dubai and was charged 516 naira on ATM withdrawals while POS was at a totally different/outrageous fees. Point is, it's with all banks. Some nice shop owners will advice you against POS as means of payment. An advice; there are some Nigerian guys around Deira that can give you dirham while you transfer money into their Nigerian Bank account. (This option is useful if you can do online/mobile transfer though) . Cheers. |

@op: I was just searching through to see if there was any support group on child loss then I stumbled on you post; I am actually new on nairaland. Your experience was quite similar to mine except that I carried mine to term. Lost one at birth (born sleeping) and second at 2 months. Both to heart defects and chromosomal disorder. It's been 2 months now since I lost d second twin and I can't stop grieving for my babies. It's worse with my husband's seemingly nonchalance to my pains. He complains about my mood always. I feel so forlorn and miserable Please how did you get over your loss and spouse's nonchalance. I'm sorry if my post brings back memories you would rather forget... Thanks |
