It's been a nightmare season, and those boys had nothing to play for, and nothing to lose...unlike City who are still fighting for a top 4 position, and have some really inform attackers.

I still think all this 'midfield talk' is exaggerated. Midfield is A problem, not THE problem. Matic was arguably the best central midfielder in the league last season...can't get a look in this season under 2 managers...What's changed?

Courtois was competing directly with DDG for the best keeper in England. Look at him now. Look at the ediotic mistakes he keeps making...What's changed?

Costa was one of the top scorers last season...What's changed?

Ivanovic was the best right back in the country...What's changed?

Forget this over hashed talk about 'Midfield'. It's no coincidence that each of the teams in the top 4 have attackers contesting for golden boot/assist. Leicester have Vardy/Mahrez, Spurs have Kane, Arsenal have Ozil, City have Aguero...

In my opinion, this season, the teams that have the best attackers, and not necessarily the best 'midfield' are the ones that are in the running.

So like I said before, midfield is a problem, but can you list just one position at Chelsea that doesn't have issues right now?
