You guys are saying it as if Spurs didn't created chances when Mensah was on the pitch. Or because they missed them? Lamela miss in the 1st half would have been blamed on Darmian if he was the RB.

The only difference was that Spurs took advantage of our weakness and moved the ball quicker in the 2nd half.

I think this would go down as one of the most disappointing performances from a defending champion, he wasn't worth the hype at all and I think his purse for this fight should be heavily slashed, he doesn't deserve to earn more than £100k for that nonsense...

This fight is somewhat reminiscent of Mike Tyson blowing out his opponents in the first round however AJ is no Tyson, their styles are different... He has power and decent speed for his size but he hasn't been properly tested.

It would be nice to see how AJ fares defensively against top level boxers like David Haye, Wilder, Fury or even Klitschko

In the meantime, heavyweight boxing is back and Britain seems to be the centre of this excitement.. Better days ahead

In as much as I like Kanye West and I collect Yeezys, I don't see anyway this represents taking power back from something that's still being used as a tool for racism. The US is still deeply segregated, especially the Deep South, and white folks in that part of America are still stuck in the 1600s. Even in the UK that wasn't as bad as the US at the time - the "no dogs, no blacks, no Irish" applied to everyone, regardless of nationality and Nigerian students in the UK at that period went through the same thing black Brits went through, hence a lot of them had kids and left them in foster homes cos life was unbearable for them. Fela Kuti's experience in the UK during that era was one of the reasons why he never liked white people. Now imagine what the US would have been like?

Also, a lot of these ignorant folks don't even know that without Marcus Garvey, the civil rights movements, Malcolm X et al, there wouldn't have been an anti-colonial movement in Africa, hence folks like Kwame Nkrumah, Sekou Toure, Patrice Lumumba, Nelson Mandela, Steve Biko et al paid homage to them for the consciousness. Just to educate the illiterate folks: the first anti-colonial movement in Africa, WASU (West African Student Union or so) started by Ladipo Solanke, was influenced by the Garveyites. Then you had the Pan-African anti-colonial conference series which started in 1900 London and African Americans and Caribbeans were the ones who started this initiative. I believe Awolowo attended the 5th one held in Manchester in 1945. After that, Kwame Nkrumah became influenced by all the African American movements when he was a student in America and I believe he met MLK. Once you got back to Africa, he decided to start his own movement, with help from African Americans, thus making Ghana the first country to be granted independence in Africa. And without Nkrumah, there wouldn't have been no Nnamdi Azikwe cos Nkrumah helped him travel to the US to study.

Enough education for ignorant folks.
