And these are just the clubs I can think of off the top.

When you have like 15 neighbours within 60 miles of your stadium, and one of them is a giant like United, it's difficult to pull new fans.

When we take a look at the stats, Wijnaldum has scored 1 goal more than martial but has played 530mins more than Martial. 500mins is the equivalent of 6 full games

So Martial is still better than Wijnaldum

Your argument about penalty takers is daft and redundant because penalty taking is a skill that has to be mastered in the same way finishing must be mastered, otherwise there wouldn't be a dedicated Pen taker at any club.

We saw how Bayern players missed multiple Pens in a shootout leading to a cup defeat last season shoeing how difficult a skill it is to master

So it's nobody's fault but Martial if he's not good enough to take Pens for manyoo on a regular basis...though I'm sure I've seen him take Pens this season.

Mahrez is a younger player both in age and squad status to Jamie Vardy but was on Pen duty till he kept missing...then Vardy took over

Aguero is one of the youngest in that ageing city squad...He's still on pen duty

Hazard has been on Pen duty since Kingdom come

Jordan Ayer at Villa just came, is young and is the main guy.

I could go on an on...but it's obvious that age is not the main factor in choosing the pen taker...SKILL is...and whose fault is it if Martial is not deemed good enough to take Pens? Mine?

I've already give you two examples of non-strikers in worse off teams who aren't the main set piece takers at their clubs

Arnautovic and Wijnaldum. Ross Barkley and Alli are tied with him for goals and yet out do him on assists...

The vast majority of them play in teams below United on the log. Several of them are midfielders.

I'm guessing all of these players have better managers, better tactics, and Ozil to supply the assists

Georgino Wijnaldum for example, occasionally plays in the pivot, but mostly on the same left wing as Martial, mostly under a rubbish manager who has now been sacked, for a team that is 19th on the log...

He still has more goals and assists than the new Henry...
