Rumour has it that Lahm is still on the errand that Cuadrado sent him on Forget the Arsenal thread, Ramuzaki and A40 re hosting a house parry... |
See Okazaki!!!! Showing his Japanese blood ![]() |
Dadehmola:Graham Poll did the match report for the Daily mail and affirmed that the Irons were denied. Even Micheal Owen the one eyed commentator called it along with Howard Webb. BT showed 4 different camera angles sef. I really can't be arsed to start digging tonight, but just look at this pic. How is that not a pen?
|
Dadehmola:I can't be arsed to start posting articles tonight. But I saw the replay with my own two eyes. Graham Poll and Howard Webb, 2 retired EPL refs have stated that Atkinson was wrong not to award that pen. Upgrade your provider. |
Dadehmola:You might need to switch your match provider. BT Sports showed it from at least 4 different angles and the contact on Payet's back leg was as clear as day |
chrisley024:Of course I watched it, how else did I hear the commentator? |
chrisley024:Yes Howard Webb, with 2 decades of refereeing experience with replays from multiple camera angles is blind, while chrisley024 has x-ray vision |
Dadehmola:The tackle on Payet in the box was a stonewall penalty Rojo missed the ball and made contact. Howard Webb is a co-commentator on BT Sports and said he was shocked that the ball wasn't given |
Atkinson is probably the most useless ref in the country Denied a stonewall penalty and allowed a dodgy goal for United. It's like the man was on a personal mission to destroy my betslip |
bigkesh:You must have me confused for someone else My mind can't change cos I said NO SUCH THING. If you do a search of my post history, you will only see positive things about Ake If you have otherwise proof then post it. |
Looking forward to the imminent return of Ake |
I just love it when Wenger complains The look of outrage on his face and his outstretched arms... That look of pure unadulterated mediocrity. I fvcking love it ![]() |
DJ please give me Lethal Bizzle - Dude Arsene you ain't that dude, nah fam you ain't that dude..,.. |
That guy wan assassinate Ospina sha. Ah see shot! |
raumdeuter:Lukaku 18 goals 6 assists in the league Kane 17 goals 1 assist Ayoze Perez at a relegation contending team: 6 goals 2 assists Martial 7 goals 3 assists... I should have probably left this alone by now....but that Dayo's\Sleekdot's statement is just too provocative. It gets the people going... |
AdeLaNa1:Anyway who said this: Or this:AdeLaNa1: AdeLaNa1:or this when trying to justify Martial's lack of goals out on the wing: AdeLaNa1:When you having a go at spy360 yesterday for yarning opaks, myself and another nairalander were at the barbershop laughing at the sheer and utter hypocrisy. ![]() From Lukaku is "too useless for a Tier1" club to "If these People are smart, they'll tear a sheet from Bayern's play book and poach the best players in the league just bcoz we can!! Lukaku, Mahrez, Delle Alli, Eriksen, etc..." The difference just 4 months can make. ![]() |
afrodoc2:Before Mikel put on his jersey, he was already responsible for those goals. It doesn't matter that Cahill had to be bamboozled rather easily, or that the ball pass through thibault's toros. It was Mikels fault. A reasonable defender would have held Cahill steady to avoid the drimbles and would have instructed courtois to keep his legs closed...after all, Goodison park is not the red light district. A good DM would have stopped Costa from trying to eat Gareth Barry too. Mikel is a structural defect |
DJ please give me 2chainz - Gotta Lotta I've gotta lotta annoyance tonight |
Olabode89....how are you today sir? ![]() |
afrodoc2:Any decent defensive midfielder would have been there intercepting that ball and saving Cahill from disgrace. They don't call him Mikel Slowbi for nothing |
Cahill though! WTF?! See as Lukaku used him to play human koso ![]() |
afrodoc2:I have no problem with youth. Cortouis is q youth as is Zouma. Hazard and Oscar were youths not too long ago too. I just don't believe in playing youth because they are young. It has to be the right young player. |
afrodoc2:Championship is a massive drop in quality to EPL. Bournemouth, Watford and Norwich absolutely rampaged their way through that division. The Cherries and Hornets are doing ok this season, but the vast majority of the Watford team that came second last season has been replaced or relegated to the bench, and Bournemouth are not yet safe from relegation. Norwich are without a win in 11 games and are now battling for survival I suspect that even my mother could forge a decent career at that level. Chalobah and RLC are both just different shades of the same shyt. They will never be good enough for Chelsea. See bullet header from Pelle |
Post match analysts on NBC just said they don't think Bamford is EPL quality I have to agree. I say sell him for small change in the summer. |
Ibime:I gave 3 reasons we lost yesterday. This was just one. Can you genuinely state without prejudice that we didn't have chances in that game? Can you honestly say that Chelsea were out of the game pre-Costa's injury? Like I stated yesterday, we had more shots, more shots on target, and more shots from inside the penalty box than PSG. It's not like we were just shooting useless shots, we were actually making the keeper work...and there were at least 3 opportunities to release a killer ball to a teammate in space in the 18 that Hazard and Costa squandered between them. Even with the relative lack of defensive protection, we could have still won that game if our attack was a bit more incisive. PSG just took the chances that were practically gifted to them, it's not as if we were even carved open. 160 passes in their final third to 111 in ours tell a story...you're just not interested in listening |
Ibime:If there's anybody who has shown himself to be very ignorant about football over the last couple of days, it's you sir. Fabregas 'retains possession' better than Oscar, and is definitely 'more of a midfielder' than Oscar...yet Fabregas is a defensive liability. Oscar is clearly a more defensive minded AM than Willian and even Fab sef. In your rush to affirm your jaundiced view of Mikel, you clearly can't see the folly of playing a combination of 2 offensive players and 1 defensive player against 3 specialist defensive midfielders. Even worse, PSG's defensive trio occupied the central midfield strata to compete with Mikel and Fabregas, while William was left to play further forward in the AM strata. Even when you could see the result of that folly with Willian failing to track Rabiot, you are still trying to blame Mikel. Guus should have either dropped Hazard for Oscar, or Paired Matic with Mikel and played Fab in the hole. |
When Newcastle inevitably relegate, can we just go Wijnaldum Abeg? |
Btw Lukaku now has 18 EPL goals 6 assists Martial 7 goals 3 assists This court hereby decrees that Raumdeuter and Sleekdot be hung by the balls until dead and may God have mercy on your souls. Olabode89 is sentenced to 10 years community service. |
sleekdot:Dayo thanks for your input on this. To me, Guus was Naive by playing a 2 man midfield vs 3 defensive midfielders. If he had played Oscar at 10, at least we know that he would have tracked back. This naivete is exemplified in that pic that Ibime posted. Fabregas is Awol, Willian fails to track his runner, while Mikel is marking Matuidi higher up the pitch. Overload is always going to happen due to numerical advantage...and not due to Mikel's incompetence. I'm not saying that Mikel is an ideal midfielder, far from it....but trying to blame Mikel for those 2 goals is just spiteful, hateful and ignorant. All the pundits in England blamed Cahill and Kenedy for the first, and Azpilicueta for the second. You can't play a slow mikel vs 3 speacialist defensive midfielders, and then blame him when he cant track them all. Thats just stuppidity. |
