OnyeObodo:
Some of you shouting odolowu or Alaba upandan will make people shed premium tears.

See if you don't know a family member in Alaba, don't near that market. Even fellow Igbos suffer there.

Your greed will be used against you and you will part away with serious money. All those places are devil's dens.

E.G of Scam 1 format.

An original sony home theater of 200k will be sold to you at 50,000 naira. You will scream.. "Wow. Sellers on Nairaland are thieves." Its only after receipt must have been written and money paid, then one of them will give you one tall boy speaker from the home theater telling you its actually what you bought. You will shout and scream... For where?

A fake chairman will appear later and tell you to bring receipt. Chairman will read out receipt and tell you to read too.

When you now observe the receipt you PERSONALLY SIGNED, you will now discover that what was written on the receipt was "1 Tall boy speaker for 50,000 naira only.... Zero issues".

Remember because of greed, you were in a haste to sign and run away with a supposed quality product for low price? Because God created you a thief abi? You are looking for washing machine of 3,000? Na only you waka come?

What about iron cone and rubber cone format? What about police is coming format? What about I told you not to sell this item format? What about swapping format? Even a full Aeroplane will be swapped right in front of your eyes and you will looking like mumu.

Remember, IF YOU DON'T HAVE A FAMILY MEMBER AT ALABA, stay away from there. Better buy from the street.

With this write up, trust my smart brothers and sisters to visit Alaba and not fall victim to any ojoro.
Thanks for the heads up bro.
Too funny.

ShadowM:
Nigerians and entitlement. Why must the person use please. I see nothing disrespectful here

Hello, good morning.
I think you are getting it wrong. Thumbing please/thank; online and offline is infact, a key to opening psychological pathways. It directs people's bias almost, always. Saying please does not remove anything from you rather, it adds an empathetic angle to your request.
Please, let's cultivate the habit of being polite.
This does not in anyway invalidate your position sir. That is to say, I am not waving away your contribution.
Thank you for understanding.
Good Morning once again.
Cheers.

Favourflavour:
I wish you'd use 'please' in your questions. Your questions sound like commands and you will be demanding immediate answers. It doesn't hurt to be civil and respectful.

You noticed too.

Perfectdanny:
Someone should ansa me na!!

Maybe, add the magic word, and watch your mentions vibrate like a juiced up 3310.

Bubu1989:
It's ok, you're a nice person. I cant even talk to the contact because the connection was out of Good will ...it's someone else in HR that informed me.

Oh, ok. It can be really annoying. Wishing you success and lots of opportunities.

Bubu1989:
.

Abeg leave me, like you are a sadist?..

Asking rubbish questions.

Please, do not take it personal. I only noticed a trend where people come and say "my name was removed" and I keep wondering, how such information got to that person, if it isn't through a contact. The same kind of contact that can remove the name.
Anyways, I am sorry for barging into your space.
Cheers.

Bubu1989:
Omo! na so I don become Job seeker, the reality of life hit hard today, they just comot my name from list, this presidency people will not kill me.

Sorry to ask, but how did you come to know that your name was on "the list"?

yusufusulaiman:
I am yet to receive mail any hope for me??
And even last year when we applied I can't remember receiving any confirmation mail.
Help me clarify pls because I have searched DSCL in my mail box couldn't get anything related to it

Could it be that you got the acronym wrong? I believe it's DCSL?
Do try again and revert.
Cheers.

Mtschewwww:
I googled it but it didn't give me the answer. It was still referring him (Hon Chike Okafor) as the chairman of Health services which he was in the 8th Assembly (2015-2019).
That's the reason I am asking for those who knows his current portfolio to know where he is heading and other committees he belongs to. This information is urgently needed please.

Okay. You have done well. Try this...
When you type his name in the Google search bar, click on news instead of all. You will see that Hon Chike has affiliations with Agriculture and NIRSAL.
Happy hunting.

Mtschewwww:
Good day everyone.
Hon. Chike Okafor is the representative of Ehime Mbano, Ihitte Uboma and Obowo Federal Constituency in the national assembly. Please I want to know the committee he chairs and other committees he is a member to.

Google maybe?

Trottle:
Me a scammer? Who have I ever scammed here or you are just getting to know what scamming is as a word?

You called me once and you only asked for the price, then you cut the call and proceeded to label me a scammer? Very immature of you.

I don't blame you, internet really do provide anonymity for both the senseless and the sensible.

We move!

I agree. Very immature. We don't deserve the slot(s). Give them to your neighbors, fellowship members, anybody deserving but not on this platform. We do not deserve your kind heart sir.
Cheers.

alfarouq:
Good morning.
Someone should kindly help me out. I received a text message by 8:20am this morning that I should take an online assessment by 9:00am and that I should check my mail for more details. I checked my mail and the spam folder but didn't see anything. I checked for both of my emails because I can not remember the one I used, it has been long and I have moved on since only to get a text this morning

Send a message to info@dcsl.com.ng.
Hopefully, you get a response.

SlaveofGod:
I dey craze Say dem swear for me... Anyone who knows that he paid him should just chat me up.. e get why!

Chat you up? I believe this is the same thing people on here frown at. What's with the privacy. Just say what you want to say and if it is juicy, trust me, people will contact you. I may even be the first to mail; that is if I believe I have been "hushed".
Cheers.

neoclassical:
Please, can someone tell me how to retrieve my application details, precisely, the position I applied for?. I know it is either Senior Officer or Principal Officer.

Go to the search bar of your email, type in "DSCL" and let the search bar do the rest.

meetgaya:
After online test, there are computer based aptitude test, written test and oral test before screening if qualify.

Really? Okay.

basting:
Hello my people! Pls is there any update after ICPC online test?

Then who have idea on how their written exam questions would look like.

No updates yet from here. Written exam questions? Please, what do you mean?

MsMariaah:
I don't know what to say anymore, Jesus should just take the wheel at this point. I had time submitted nothing but that error message.

I attended open uni and came out 4points clear, also written IELTS and Pearson English so online tests isn't new to me. Even if you didn't submit before time, the system automatically submits your answers even if the computer powers off.

Permit my rant, I just wanted to at least pass and see my score so I know I'm not a failure to confirm chance and luck is involved. P.s 12 minutes 25 questions isn't an easy feat. That's 0.48seconds per answer.

I know what you mean. It is well.

MsMariaah:
Please I want to ask, can I go back to a question if I don't know the answer after I must have clicked on the next question?

Or are the questions all on one page and I don't have to click "next" for subsequent questions?

Yes you can. All questions are on one page. You just scroll up and down. You need to be really fast though.

papyrus2:
Because that'ss what any sane online testing company will do.

Right on the money. Mine was different too though. I was wondering if the minutes allowed, had any bearing. He said he was given 8minutes, to answer 25 questions I guess. Mine was 12 minutes.

papyrus2:
I expected it to be so.

For which position did you take the test for Principal Officer or Senior Officer?

Why do you think it happened that way?

Cassa93:
So you never learn how to quote properly...
You be one of the reasons why we never receive mail

AbdulAkpan:
Which mail are you talking about, please?

Cruise Mail
LOL

Rumanya:
Na the waiting be the issue. Make person no come clock 40 dey wait. Then get disqualified for being over-age.

I do not think that would be possible. Disqualifying candidates like that. Agreed, there are lots of intricacies sorrounding this recruitment. The best we can do is wait. It's really annoying, but wait we shall.

Kaeboy:
Those of you arguing that recruitment has not been suspended, if it as not being suspended indefinitely, so why haven't you hear anything or why have they not continue?

Una no like truth for this country. Nigerians like hearing what they want to hear, not the truth, that why you will still say recruitment is not suspended yet the recruitment has being off radar for months.

I believe when they called for applications, no one here provided the details. When the test was scheduled and scored, no one here did the scheduling nor scoring. When they realised they needed to fill for vacancies, no one here decided that. So I believe no one here will/can/should/would know if the process has been stalled or not. No need for blackmails. Why don't we wait for them, the way we waited for them when we took the test and the subsequent upload of documents?
Cheers people.

Warrick03:
I got the email but can’t remember applying. Please can any1 remember when we applied for this ICPC job. Was it this year or last year and which month please ? Thinking very hard to remember.

The online application was done around January-March, 2020. Just before the lockdown.

xscoffy:
. whatever bro!

Do have a nice day

Thanks boss.
You too bro, do have a lovely and stress free day.

xscoffy:
Am in for anything more than 120k salary bro for a start! If you got the right contact, send in a DM let's roll

You and your friend I guess?

AbdulAkpan:
I am having the same challenge here. What do we do?

I sent them a message. You can do the same too.
Cheers.
Update!
I just logged in and was successful. I have completed mine.
Wishing you all the very best.

oluwafemiabioye:
Where do you people normally see this vacancies because I usually don't see them here on nairaland job section, all I just see is people talking about aptitude test without even knowing when they applied for it.

The vacancies are normally advertised in Nigerian Dailies (Newspapers). You can also expand you chances by getting access to some job sites that advertise these vacancies.
Remember, they are free sites. Do not pay anyone to send adverts to you.
Cheers.

ogwoliun:
I have been trying to login since the past 30 minute but it is not going even though I am using 4G.

Perhaps, your test date is tomorrow. Please, check the date and revert.

IsaacEtieno:
I agree with your narration but my confusion is as to how you turned this into a church thing?

LMAO
I know I was not invited, but how has he turned it into a Church thing? Your write up showed you taking the "ethnic superiority" argument. Although, you clearly stated "no offense intended" it still is offensive. LOL
Your point is noted, his point is noted, no need to pick his contribution apart.
Like I thumbed, I apologise for coming in uninvited.
Cheers.
