Religion / Re: Why Do People Go To Church And Still Go Other Places For Solutions? by nisot23(f): 1:01pm On Jun 10, 2018
It is ignorance plus lack of wisdom that makes people go to church and still go looking for help in some other places where they will never really find help. When you pray and you still think you should look for help yourself, you simply don't know what your God is capable of. And the worst part is those other places will only compound your problems in the end.

Only God knows what runs through their minds the moment they are told they just have 24hrs on earth.

Honestly that part sent shivers down my spine. Like how do you say those words to someone. Even if they were already expecting to die, it would still be very frightening to learn that it would happen in a few hours.

If I were in your shoes, I would forgive, forget, mediate and move on. Life is too short to hold onto some petty traditions that will not take you anywhere. There's a problem and you can offer a solution, do it and allow peace reign. God will see your heart and surely reward you.

Thank you for part about always showing our parents how much we love them. A lot of us don't know how to.
May her soul continue to rest in peace and may you make her even more proud than she would have ever imagined.

He only used ozubulu to discuss Nigeria in general. Please read before commenting. The writer is simply saying the whole of Nigeria worship money.

Thank you for telling him o. People need to stop bringing tribalism into everything, it's really irritating.

The rate of tribal bashing on this thread is alarming.
The interaction between igbos, Hausa and Yoruba on Nairaland is a direct measurement of the love/hatred that exist among their people in real life.

Honestly I don't understand nairaland these days. Tribalism on every single thread. It's really silly. No one bothers to look at the problem in itself, all they do is check names and insult one another. It's just so unbelievable.

From Mushin take a bus going to yaba, when you get to yaba take another bus going to oyingbo and let the conductor know your stop is alagomeji. At alagomeji busstop you'll cross the road to the other side and when you look up you'll see a sign showing the street name as 'Hughes' walk for a few seconds and you'll see the Access building.

You don't need your original documents, photocopies will do.

I honestly don't want you to go to that baba with your friend. The solution he'll offer you will never solve your problems. No matter how much you're tempted to, please don't go because it will only make your situation worse than it already is. Cry out to God to help you instead. Only God can offer you the things you seek and more. I pray you get a job soon and those other things you desire so you don't have to keep brooding over the things your brothers did.

Honestly it serves you right. Next year, read your books and write your exam by yourself, then and then will you pass. Until you learn to depend on your effort and God's grace to crown it , you have no business writing exams. The fact that everyone you know got into school like this doesn't make it right or mean you also have to. Ask for mercy o and go and learn to be independent.

This certainly brings back memories of my NYSC days too and those great outreaches my CDS organised. Welldone corps members, we expect this from our corpers during the service year and not unnecessary travelling and absenteeism from their PPAs with the excuse that their states are to boring for them to stay in.

Nigeria is not a place you can just buy things and give the needy or homeless people anyhow
It wont be long before they accuse you of using their fortune for money ritual
Not that most people are not ready to help the needy but Nigeria is complicated
Imagine giving out 50naira to the homeless man under the bridge but he later went ahead to sell your 50naira at the rate of 1000naira to those who need it for money ritual to use your fortune
This is one of the reasons i dont help expecially homeless Yorubas
i prefer to help hausas or funlanis

You really didn't have to bring tribe into this you know.
