alfasexy: See how you are triggered. Make sure you are not around when we arrive. Sabo.
See riff-raff talking about arriving You are a nobody. When jungle mature brainless folk like you can never speak for us. You will be flushed out like nsi nama.
olmoRoc: After campaigning for, and massively voting for him in 2015?
Afenifere never supported Buhari. They were behind GEJ because he was trying to restructure Nigeria. Tinubu and his touts were the ones that supported Buhari
Someone is deliberately stoking the flames of conflict by pitting regions, religions and communities against each other. Some regions are aware of this plot and are pushing back while some aren't. When Lagos CP announced that IPOB was planning to attack Lagos, Yoruba leaders immediately resisted the hate mongering and rebuked the CP publicly. The planned attack turned out to be FALSE. Ahmed Gulak's killing in Owerri and the onion narrative foisted in the media was another attempt to cause disaffection between ethnic groups. Unlike the Yorubas, Daily Trust and Senator Wamakko went to town, threatening other groups with fire and brimstone for killing northerners and destroying their properties? Are northerners being killed in the SE? Are the northerners' properties under attack? Where? What exact location? Under what circumstances? How many properties?
What are the names and addresses of the property owners? Nobody has provided any data that can be independently verified. If you have any, please share here for verification and analysis. The burning of a truck carrying cows incident at Akwatta junction in Awka which Wamakko capitalised on to insult other ethnic groups turned out to be FALSE.
The said truck belonged to Mr. Cosmas Achilike of Umunnachi in Dunukofia LGA of Anambra State. Two days ago, my inlaw went to Ama-Hausa in Owerri to inquire from the Hausas whether they have been attacked by any group recently or in the past? They vehemently denied the rumour and wished evil on those peddling such hatemongering. Rumours of killings of northerners also turned out to be FALSE.
We must not fall prey to the agents of destabilisation roaming around the country. The battle for 2023 is on and politicians can do ANYTHING to grab political power. It is normal for us to see more political intrigues and horse-trading in the days ahead. It is also normal to expect a lot of misinformation, theatrical manipulations of ethnic tensions and outright violence to accompany these intrigues. In my view, no region is planning to harm another. Politicians are merely pulling dirty strings to trigger some unpalatable reactions. Don't fall prey to their antics. Let us continue to live together peacefully
FreeIgbos: There are some things one will see on nairaland that can easily assault the sensibilities of a normal rational human being. The worst is that those who push the narrative will continue in their foolhardiness despite how illogical, irrational and crassly flawed their thought process is.
As a very old nairaland member who have experienced the good, bad and ugly in the politics section, I'm not new to the shenanigans of impostors and fifth columnists whose stock in trade is to impersonate and attack others. Recently, the nuisance BMC's, APC hood rats, and parasitic Nigerianists etc have taken it to ridiculous levels all in an effort to give the unsuspecting public a very wrong impression, especially now that the balkanization of Nigeria has become a huge possibility.
I want the "we Niger Delta" crew to answer the following questions, especially those claiming to be Ijaw and others as well as others:
1. You blackmail Igbos and call us land grabbers for insisting that our IGBO brothers in the geographical areas currently known as SE, SS and Benue State will join us to form a nation, even when we make it clear that such would happen through a referendum to enable everyone decide either to come with us or not. Isn't this an honest and universally recognized standard? Yet you "we Niger Delta" crew that wrongly accuse Igbos of landgrabbing will shamelessly and wickedly want to force the Ejaghams, Anioma Igbos, Itshekiri, Bini, Uhrobo, ijaw, Ibibio, Ikwerre, Ogoni, Ogoja, Isobo Igbos, Etche/Asa/Egbema/Ndoki Igbos, Efiks, Ilajes, Isoko etc into a Babel republic called Niger Delta without even wanting to know if they're interested or not, now who is the landgrabbing here and who is honest and matured?
Who is decieving who?
Last month I travelled to Obiakpu town in Rivers state from PH. I passed through Ahoada, Omoku, Egbema and other igbotic towns. On the way I was reading posts on NL by "we the Niger Delta" crew and just laughing my head off. Those are Igbo people, plain and simple but at the end of the day anybody can decide where they want to come from or belong to.
dared0637: Well this is for the useless "we the South South" crew here's a picture posted by popular comedian Basket mouth on his Facebook (a South South boy) from Delta state, proudly representing his Igboness.
There are Igbos in the South South like Ifeanyi Okowa but Basketmouth is from Isuikwato, Abia State
Innocent men, women and children were set upon and murdered in their thousands in their homes and schools in the north like this yet people wonder why the north is how it is today. Steeped in poverty, disease, terrorism, banditry and suffering. Today we see pictures of children in the north with kwashiorkor...
The northerners and their slaves try to justify this genocide by using the killing of northern leaders during the coup but even a goat knows that it was all down to jealousy that Igbo settlers came and quickly surpassed them on their land.
