Hello my nairaland family. I'll make this post short & precise... I buried my dad around april this year.

Am the only available child, as my elder brother relocated abroad in january & has refused to make contact. I took a loan to sponsor my bro's trip abroad, & also took another loan from my bank to partly sponsor the burial as all the family burden rested on my shoulders..

Last month, my dad appeared in a dream telling me to hurry up in paying a vow he made in church of abt 50k before he died. I was warming up to pay the vow this month's ending as am stil servicing the loans i got from my bank.

He appeared last week to remind me but yesterday night's own came with severe flocking. Am stil feeling the pains from the cain he used at my back & joints..

How do i contain him before month end when i'll be bouyant to pay the vow.

Am afraid he may return with more beatings,. & am jst 30yrs old, & wouldnt want to have any part of my body deformed as a result.

Your suggestions wil be greatly appreciated!

Lmao, i bought a car last year September via one of these instagram car pages and till date, the car is yet to be delivered.

Firstly, he said the car broke down when he was on his way to deliver so he asked me to wait for him to get me another one, i waited for like 2months with me disturbing him.

2ndly, he finally delivered and he lied it’s a 2011 model but when it came I discovered it’s 2006 so he came back to pick it up and he promised that he ordered another one and i should wait.

I waited with me also still asking for updates daily, lol, July he said the car came but he sold it already because he thought i was no longer interested.

We don dey untop the matter since July, at least make e refund my money when i paid, dollar was sha still 450, now dollar don useless and e suppose don mAke money from my money.

It’s funny to me and i just decided to share because i am tired

I and my wife met through her senior sister who happens to be my friend and also my toaster.

I ended up falling in love with my wife through her sister who claims we can't date because we're of age bracket.

I am just curious to know what to do with the placenta after birth, and I am sure many young men as first timers feels the same if handed the placenta after his wife delivers a child.

Especially to young guys that are just raising a family. I know that culture varies but in Yoruba tribe for example, placenta are meant to be buried. Buried where? On your land or you have to encroach another man's land to bury that?

As a father or grandfather kindly share your experience on how to dispense placenta after delivery.

The leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has appointed Adamawa state governor, Ahmadu Fintiri as chairman of the party’s convention organizing committee.

This is as Oyo state governor, Seyi emerged secretary of the convention planning committee.

The zoning committee would be chaired by Enugu state governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi while Zamfara state deputy governor, Mohammed Mahdi is the secretary of the committee.


Bayelsa state governor, Duoye Diri was appointed deputy chairman of the convention planning committee while his Benue state counterpart, Samuel Ortom is the deputy chairman of the zoning committee.

Addressing newsmen at the end of the party’s 93rd National Executive Committee, NEC meeting Thursday, national publicity of the party, Kola Ologbondiyan, said NEC received the report of Senator David Mark-led committee, impaneled to address the lingering court cases against the leadership of the PDP, stressing that the issues would be laid to rest in a matter of days.

Meanwhile, Vanguard gathered that governors were initially opposed to the choice of Fintiri given his closeness to former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar.

Atiku who is vying for the Presidential ticket of the party in the 2023 election was the biggest winner as the governors put away their fears to embrace Fintiri as head of the convention committee.

Suspended national chairman of the PDP, Prince Uche Secondus seemed the biggest loser as one of his staunch supporter, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi got the plum job of chairing the zoning committee.

With this development, governors have taken over the affairs of the party with the full compliment of the endorsement of NEC.

The NEC meeting was attended by Atiku Abubakar, 13 governors elected on the party’s platform, former PDP governors as well as members of NEC and Board of Trustees of the party.

Earlier in the day, the party inaugurated its national campaign council for Anambra governorship election slated for November 6.

Inaugurating the council, acting national chairman of the PDP, Elder Yemi Akinwonmi, called for togetherness among council members.

“I called on members of the council and Ndi Anambra to close ranks and deliver the state to PDP families.

“The cooperation of all and sundry is expected for the actualisation of PDP dream. I would like to seize this opportunity to appreciate on behalf of the PDP, all the aspirants, who dramatically contested with the candidate. Your spirit of sportsmanship is wonderful.

“I call on you to kindly hold hands together to deliver Anambra to PDP.

“We call on all of us to set aside differences and look at the PDP and Nigeria above any personal consideration. Anambra is winnable for PDP,” Akinwonmi said.

Deputy Chairman of the Council, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, said PDP was set to win Anambra elections.

“We want to reassure the party that we are going to put in our best to ensure that we reconcile everyone,

“We will go into that election as one body and definitely we are going to win that election by the special grace of God.

“We know our people in Anambra are party people. We know also that there have been issues in the past, those issues that divide us.

“We are going to work day and night to ensure that we all step out of our comfort zones and step into the field to talk to the people, and to win back all who have left the party, as much as possible,” Okowa said.

He expressed optimism that there would be no rigging in the elections following the introduction of new technology by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

“I am glad that INEC itself has come out with a new device for the purpose of the Anambra election and it will be tested first in Delta State on Saturday.

“I am told from the information we already have ahead of the election in Delta on Saturday that it would not be possible for anybody to rig elections because there will be no use of incident forms.

“It is either your biometrics, or your facial is captured or else, you will not be allowed to vote.

“So we are definitely going to communicate with the people at the grassroots, and we know that we as a party own the grassroots in Anambra state.”

Okowa assured the party leaders that the council would work with the state campaign council to deliver Anambra state back to the party.

The party’s governorship candidate, Valentine Ozigbo, expressed gratitude to God and the party for counting him worthy to fly the flag of the party.

“I am here to also make a pledge that we will put in everything we have to ensure we regain the lost glory in Anambra state and PDP will take over this year.

“I am also here to make a pledge that not only are we going to win, but we will do our best to ensure not just to deliver dividends of a democracy, but we ensure that we set a standard and governance with Anambra state.

“Anambra people, if you’re listening to me today, your victory is here, your freedom is here, development is on the way.

“I am thankful for the joy that erupted when I was announced as the candidate. The greater joy will erupt on Nov. 6, when I emerged as a good governor of Anambra state,” Ozigbo stressed.

My cousin brother of about 19years of age came for a visit in our house and each time it's time for his meal he'd be no where to be found within the house. This habit was a constant thing that I became too curious to know what he's up to.

So I started following every of his moves only to discover that he spends minimum of 4hours in the bathroom and this is not a case of him taking his bath, he'd later come out when he's done and there will be no signs of him taking bath.

I questioned him and he completely deny it, i always tiptoed to his room and put my ears on the bathroom door so as to pick one or two things but all to no avail and he left back for their house after spending some time with us.

Now the mom called yesterday that he was suddenly brought home from his school few moths back due to severe leg pain around his knees,the leg has swollen so much and he has been in the hospital where different tests were carried out and he was diagnosed of leg cancer and they have resulted to amputation which would be carried out any time soon, this came as a shock to everyone because there's no history of cancer in the family.

My curiosity is could he be into something which must have led to that? What manner of habits would make him hide and spend so much time in the bathroom (remember he's not taking his bath)? He has refused to own up or talk about this bathroom issues and his parents don't even know about it till I brought it up.

Please your suggestions and advise are needed.
