Many of the responses here make one wonder if the secretary was a plant sent to seduce or spy on the company.


The efforts people are expending should be used towards creating more jobs in an economy so people dont feel there are no other employment opportunities elsewhere.

I dont mean to sound somehow but is it my imagination or do SE ladies get more thrilled at the thought of Yoruba suitors, compared to other Nigerian men?

But let me ask you this.If you were working in a company where you were regarded as the best employee and one day without any form of query before now, you suddenly received a sack letter whch contains no valid reason for the sacking but later got to know after you have left the company that the actual reason was because the boss or the business owner suspected you of having something to do with his daughter who also work in the same office with you. how would you feel when later got to know this? when you know you never had any such intentions

Should a religious leader who is supposed to demonstrate love order without any valid reason the sack of a young lady who I suppose was doing her job very well in that company and because of this has endeared her self to her boss?

When you consider how difficult it is to get a job in this country today ,how can any order for the sack of ianother out of mere suspicion?

And to think that he even had to announce it on some Twitter just shows you that some people don't really care how their actions affect other.What sort of person will act this way?

Do people not get sacked in Nigeria all the time? It's not always about emotional reasons, the business owner does what is expedient for them.

It's distressful no doubt, nobody likes that but sometimes you just have to pray and work towards better things.

Also, if you can sack someone because you dislike them, why cant you sack someone if they're distracting you due to excessive liking and it could affect the business?

I wasnt referring to illegal or amoral activities where people are obviously not in a Christian lifestyle .

I meant if you are doing well in the secular world, in any vocation besides the types you just specified, why should you consider it a sin or ungodly just because it's not ministerial work?

At the end of the day, he's continuing his studies and you're here looking for money for antenatal

School- if an African immigrant at that time settled in America and wanted to send his children to school he would still have been segregated because not all schools were open to blacks.

Funding is the main focus as per Africans.

Most Africans/Nigerians back home attend what in the US would be considered segregated schools, because the schools consist of about 99 to 100% black people, due to the location .

Yoruba doesnt necessarily have an actual word for girlfriend, hence some guys might refer to girlfriend as iyawo which technically means wife. But if you allow yourself to be deceived by the sweet words, he wont remember them when he actually marries oh.

By "call of evangelist or pastor" I assume you mean ability to draw an audience and also being good in public speaking.

These are separate from actually hearing from God about a call to ministry (I'm not attaching any connotation here, either good or bad).
