StrikeBack:
Riele,

Stay away from this place
I was trying to explain. . .

Op, please do not listen to this person:

Keiris:
Dear Riele,

you are still very young but smarter and wiser than many people older than you. . . You are my hero of the month.
You are not Jesus.
Romance › Re: My Heart Is Shattered by nlPoster:
Sorry.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Sometimes you yourself could be confused but God knows what or who you need.
Romance › Re: Corruption by nlPoster: 7:34pm On Jan 16, 2020
Riele:
You should be old enough to know when a topic is serious .
In my opinion, it should be handled by experienced folks. There's too much at stake to discuss it anyhow on nairaland.

I'm working on my relationship with God grin
ok, keep doing that and God would see you through..

Do you know that emoticon means 'cool' and it's added to show how much I'm proud of that city.

Is there something I know about myself? Like some funny medical records?
I can't help you, I'm actually not a doctor.
Are you alright? huh

You dont seem ok, all the best, get well soon.

And, no, the emoticon does not always mean cool. On nl, it denotes secrecy. Correct me if I'm wrong. In any case , my point is just say a town without lying. It's so exhausting dealing with some of you here, always in battle mode over everything. And it's so annoying most of the time you come across as idiotic but you can't understand that.
Romance › Re: Corruption by nlPoster: 7:25pm On Jan 16, 2020
Riele:
I intend to do that .
The person involved that is.

You said he asked you for money and the other lady for sex(?). Allow the other lady to handle the matter whichever way she sees fit.

she told me the man wanted something special from her and you'll know what it is .
We actually don't know, it could be money or a gift.
Romance › Re: Corruption by nlPoster: 7:17pm On Jan 16, 2020
Riele:
That , isn't the point here .
I'd say some things should be handled by more experienced folks, you might not know what you're getting into.

Just saying, at this stage your personal relationship with God is also as important as anything else you could be doing.

E be like say my intestine they pain me.

How on heck does this emoticon 'cool' denote secrecy?
Please do not bring bitterness to the thread.

What is wrong with some of you here, must everything be a battle? huh

All I said was the emoticon is unnecessary, simply name your favourite town and move on, is that hard? And are you forced to post?

You are too hostile, remember some folks here are looking for who to marry, your attitude might discourage them from approaching you unless they are searching for an angry person.
Romance › Re: Corruption by nlPoster: 6:52pm On Jan 16, 2020
Easy @ op.

I'd say table the matter to whichever office handles such issues.

042 for life
Enugu?

So if you meet anyone and they tell you they are from the 042, know that they mean that they are from Enugu.

Akure. cool
Madam, there is no need for this particular emoticon: cool

The thread title specifically says name your favorite Nigerian town, I did not say there are exceptions which should not be named.

Everything does not have to be a secret? I dont know why Nigerians are obsessed with secrecy even when it's unnecessary.

they way you understand hardship is to bully, to cause injury and pain , to exert yourself so others will honor you by force
I think this is a function of upbringing or nurture, not always to be blamed on religion, because you can find these traits in Christians also.
Nairaland General › Re: Quality Versus Quantity In Nigerian Music by nlPoster(op): 3:40pm On Jan 16, 2020
Does Nigerian music promote quality or do we prefer quantity ?
Nairaland General › Re: Quality Versus Quantity In Nigerian Music by nlPoster(op): 3:39pm On Jan 16, 2020
Does sound matter or is crowd appeal more important?

Does the crowd determine the beat or the rhythm gathers the crowd?

I find this topic interesting after seeing someone's opinion in the other thread.

I doubt that, since Oghene means God.

The guy is probably a nler, the men here generally like cursing out women. The lady might have provoked him however, in this instance. I assume the whole thing is a skit anyway.

When I was in Nigeria. there was one boss who, most mornings, would just be giving people some kind of very nasty look like that, for no known reason. I thought perhaps the person had personal issues or simply didn't like the job. Or it could just be Nigerian culture, dunno.

It put the fear of God in me for sure, I prayed after each encounter.
