I didn't even go to him with the intention of evangelizing him. I asked for a rag to clean my shoes, he gave me a rag, as I was cleaning my shoes, he asked me why I was in that area, I told him, he said he could assist me with info. (His words) "But I be Herbalist o". I said really? He said yes. He doesn't look it, but I saw stuff around which indicated he wasn't lying. I then asked him what herbalists actually do. He thought he had seen a client. He gladly was telling me his art. I said OK, do you also cure demo possessed people? He said, "ah ah, dat one na small thing nah", just bring the person, and now now, I go destroy the demon. I said OK, how do you destroy this demons since they are spirit beings? He said by consulting with his Spirits. They will tell him what to do, and now now, he will destroy them.
I said, do you know that demons have names? I asked him if he knew the name of the demons who sexually molest people in their sleep? He said he didn't k of their names.
I started by telling him some names of demons based on what I learned here.
I asked him if he inherited the herbalistic tendencies or he acquired them by himself? He said he inherited them.

He was so grateful that I didn't treat him the way others had always done. I told him I was not there on my own, I am an ambassador representing Christ, so I carry the totality of Christ in me.
He asked why I didn't leave, I told him I loved him and won't want him to go to hellfire. He was looking at me like I was some strange lady.
After I opened the Bible to show him what it meant to be what he was, and what the people in the Bible did after they met Christ, after that, he accepted to give his life to christ. I asked him if he will willingly burn up his herbalistic items, he said yes. Well, I didn't stay to see him do that, I had to leave.
I took him through the Sinners prayer, and prayed for him afterwards.
I leave far away from that area so following him up personally Will be a challenge for me. I directed him to a church close by, but he told me he has an Aunt who is afraid of coming close to him because of who he is, (he said, if you just mention my name, my sister will tell you to go far from me, because am a herbalist), but that she worships with Winners Chapel , and base on what he has seen from her, he will want to follow her to Winners Chapel. I said OK, I took the lady's number, to call and make sure she tries to follow him up. I will too.

2. He needs all the love and follow up he can get. At this point i think it will be a good idea if you can introduce him to your evangelism group head in church to take over the follow up. 3. More than anything...HE NEEDS TO UNDERGO DELIVERANCE. AS IN...LIKE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

4. I believe it would be best for you to buy him christain materials, (books if he can read) or audio messages to build his faith.

5. Prayers should be said for him daily. I propose that maybe on friday, all of us participating in this group should do an hour of intercession for both analice and the new convert. this is very important.

6. He should be made aware of certain hardships that will come ssonest to befall him. this is termed a reaping process. depending on how far he went, there are certain things that he must pay for. this is because God is a fair God. But in his trials, he would grow tremendously. Most convert from the occult esp think that we christains lied when we said God will help them (because of the hardship)

I and my team have been working super hard to create lasting impression while making clients happy has been our number one priority. Alot of people have been defrauded online by scrupulous fellows claiming to be able to deliver a service or sell a product. This has obviously stamped a boldly spelled caution on the minds of potential clients and customers. I feel for them.

So, we came up with a model of payment on delivery. This means i spend my money to setup your website for you (and other services), then you pay when it is ready and you can see it live. I came up with this because clients are scared to make payments because of the fear of being defrauded. Some people told me i am taking risks....but what is business without risk?

To a large extent, i am credible here on nairaland and it takes hard work and legit business to attain such credibility. But just to make some doubting Thomases happy, i say "let me build the website at my own expenses without collecting a dime and when am done you pay up".

Now, the issue is that these clients who are afraid of being defrauded have successfully turned the table around and now defraud us legit businessmen. The average domain name costs close to N3,000 (with the spike in exchange rates) not including web hosting which attracts its own fees.

I spend my own money and push my team hard to get these websites up and ready, but after its ready, the so-called clients start generating a thousand excuses why they cant pay up. From am busy, to i don't have chance to go over to the bank, until they eventually stop picking your calls.

After trying for days and weeks to get paid (unfruitful), the next option is to pull down the website. But even if that is done, you still lose money (the initial cost incurred setting it up). The questions are;

Why order for a website when you know you don't have the money to pay?

Why do you keep making excuses not to pay up when you know the developer is running a business? For heaven's sake i have people that work with me whom i must pay at the end of the month. I have an office that must be operational everyday. Real businessmen should know what it costs running an office on a daily basis.

No matter how hard you try to please Nigerians, they always look for a way to disappoint you. They enjoy doing that. This wont deter me from working for the serious clients, but a stricter approach is needed.

My payment on deliver model is good for serious people who want to do serious business BUT for those that keep wasting my time, resources and money, how do i detect them? What measures do i employ to ensure i get paid when i deliver a work?

My brain is about to explode from thoughts. So, if you have any ideas, am all ears. Because am truly fed up.

bro that idea you had is from the pit of hell. discard it fast. if you have a website online, with your company's name, plus a portfolifo of works you've done for others and maybe a physical address.... y shouldn't they believe you.

My friend on the other hand needs a job and sometimes will want to go out to meet friends to help her apply for jobs; but her sister feels angry whenever this my friend is not available to help her babysit.

1. mobile app (probably android)

2. web application (consisting of php, and mysql server)


procedures
1. create an android app that on installation collects the gps coordinates of the user and sends it to a database server online. preferably the user must register first. this will ensure that every user has different username so you can from the web use a drop down to select the particular user amongst others and then pin point his exact location

2. create a web application that that shows the user(s) location. this application will be connected to the same database that the mobile app user's gps has been submitted to. now there are some apis or web services (i'' get one for you later) that you just submit the gps longitude and latitude to and then it outputs the location of the user .(it uses google gps somehow). like that you can view the user's location


my assumptions
1. you know android, php/mysql
2. you have a web site domain online where submission of the data will be done

IF THE ABOVE ASSUMPTIONS ARE WRONG THEN MY FINAL ASSUMPTION IS THAT

1. YOU HAVE MONEY FOR ME TO SO IT FOR YOU? but if yes, then go ahead.

However I do remember having such a session for myself sometime back in 2013 during my youth service days.

There was a particular book of Rebecca Brown's that talked about how contact with these books could open one up for demon possession to which she said the solution was a deliverance session. Which of course I took seriously and did.

However I do believe a concious or unconscious act of coming in contact with any such literature could eventually make a door way for repossession. In the interim I'm tryna think it's my curiosity to reading one or two funny posts of these funny atheists on here NL that might have contributed somewhat, to which I vowed eventually not reading any of such threads if the title has nothing to do with teaching more abt spirituality and how to become better involved with God.

To this end, now I know what should be done I would do the needful.

Between thanks for mentioning self deliverance cos I don't like any such deliverance session where someone has to put their hands on another. As we cannot really tell the spirit moving whoever the deliverer. Infact it's been advised to as much as possible prevent anyone frm laying hands on us carelessly as it's another means to input demons straight into the unsuspecting victim. Hence I frown @d practise. I have had one such experience where I went for a supposed deliverance session and the result was a very wicked fearful dream that somewhat spelled a kinda funny setting I was so upset when I woke up and linked the cause directly to that hand laid on me the day before. Got really angry in my spirit n prayed n fasted to rid myself of any impurities.

Anyways that's my reason and my question is it right or wrong for hands to be laid on a person's head for deliverance, bearing in mind it could either liberate or enrope further.

Criminal activity is practically almost non-existent and the environment is serene.
I moved into this area from Surulere five months ago and I have never had cause to regret the decision. Funny as it may appear I got the house via OLX (take caution). Met agent (now a friend), landlady and house same day and paid same day.
