Am a guy of 21 from a family of 5, am the eldest, everything used to be fine but the older I grow the more me and my mom seem to be falling apart, today she shouted on me and I shouted back at her very loudly so she left for her room and started crying.

My dad came home from work and she told him everything and my dad asked me to kneel and apologize but my mom was still crying saying I have hurt her a lot with words and all that and even if I become a billionaire tomorrow I shouldn't bother about her that she's cancelled me as her son for good that I don't appreciate her at all.
I don't know how things got so bad to this level and am not even a rough kind of guy, I feel so hurt now and don't even know what to do to make up for things. I just feel like our bond is about to be shattered for good.

Sorry about the situation.

I'm happy you're the elder one...I'm sure it would make things a tad bit easier. You may need to force her out of her shell by bringing up things that would increase the contact between you guys. One way you can do this is asking her to help you do things once in a while. For eg, is she a make-up freak like my sister? If she is, you can present yourself and your kit for trial sessions. You can always ask her to shave your brows if you shave them. You can tease her about being an in-house professional, and have her do your make-up when you have outings every now and then. Those are just examples. Just think...does she know how to tie scarfs? You can have her tie yours every now and then. Is she a fashionista? You can start up a conversation with her when picking clothes to wear or buy. Even if she isn't a 'professional' in any of these, you can always form 'I need another hand to do this'. The options are endless actually. Ask about her opinion on weaves and hairstyles whenever you're going to make your hair. Another way of getting you guys to talk.

You can also tell her about your day. Forget you guys aren't so close for now, just make the gist exciting. No one keeps quite for hot gist. lol. And then, ask about hers too. When she's going out, tell her jokingly not to fight or knock down anyone's tray. Comment on her dressing. etc.

And then, you can ask her out of nowhere one day ''if she feels like flexing". If her answer is positive, you both can stroll to a fast food joint nearby to buy whatever you can afford. Only both of you should go for this walk. I say so because if your youngest sister comes along for now, she will gravitate towards her, since they are closer for now, as such, the purpose will be defeated.

There're many things you can do actually, the idea is 'forcing' you girls to communicate/interract. The more you do that, the more barriers are broken, and the more you bond.

I must add though, that if she rebuffs all the subtle attempts at getting close to her, you may need to sit with her and bring up a direct conversation about it. Ask what's wrong? What happened? Is she hurt about something you did? Is she angry with you? Is there anything going on with her she would want to discuss with you? How can things be changed?...etc.

Don't worry, all iz well. She will come around.

I was born into what I consider a street life, public compounds and all its troubles.

My hustling parents still made sure I got the best especially in education but that didn’t in any way help as I picked up the most annoying and shameful personality.

I even as a kid would keep late nights without carrying out household chores and when it becomes apparent that I couldn’t escape my parents “do good,” opt to sleep out in trucks and sheds, I would occasionally sneak in and proceed to make under the bed my beautiful foams, this habit was cultivated to mitigate the effect of the surprise floggings mum especially had this habit of using deep into the mornings when she’d flog sleep out of my eyes. By the time she’d drag me out, I’d be fully awake to bear the consequences of my sins. How I managed to stay top of my class in primary school then still escapes me as I’d play my life out on daily basis.

I would pilfer on people, unsuspecting people whose heart I easily warmed up into and would sustain my belly and as such could keep avoiding home.

Oh! God bless my mum and grant my dad eternal rest. I’d constantly make “withdrawals” from their “home banks” and with it, live large in school. And constantly devised various methods to avoid detection. My neatly wrapped note books served as conduits to hide my loots to avoid detection and when that method failed, I resorted to hiding them in shoes, pens, I’d tear up the folds of my shirts and shorts and pass the folded cash into them. God knows if I had continued like that, I would have ended up a highway robber and maybe dead by now.
I was closely marked so I no go do, but two loose seconds were more than enough for me to hit a bounty when need be. I was a nightmare to my parents and at appoint when my dad moved and left us to the care of my mum, my constant acts made my dad make up his mind to come and take him along lest I killed his darling wife with HBP.
It is totally and completely ignoble thing to do, and looking back, I wonder what prompted me into such.

While staying with my dad, he once called me and told me how I was his favorite child. Till date, I still can’t tell how and why, because apart from the consequences of being the black sheep of the family, I was often the last to get gifts as they bothered me not.

Yes, I spent more time with my dad possibly due to the close marking I needed to keep my deviant behavior in check and naturally predisposed to his kind of job, but I still didn’t and haven’t seen how I was the favorite child; but I was deeply touched. He spoke of how my act pains him more than it would have if it were to be from anyone else and it sunk, he also said I wouldn’t stop being his favourite child notwithstanding. Today, thanks to those words, I’d rather dig poo to feed than pilfer on anyone. Well, the house chores are still there but I can at least shout my younger ones into doing them.

My Dad’s words (sweet and not the curses) made me a better person that I am today.

I had hoped that he lives for me to show him how much proud I was prepared to make him but death had other plans which were stronger.

sweet and sad. at least u still gat ur mama. do to her as u wanted to do to papa. make it up to her. God gave you grace. wish he could give my brother too.

Seeing people who had died in a different place living and even having Children, is another phenomenon that begs explanation.

This one l witnessed. I was in SS2 When this happened. Am partly Cameroonian. My village is bothered with Cameron. So we have so many smugglers in my place. so many coming and going too.
A lady from my Village, was a smuggler, who.buys stuff from here goes to sell over there. but Cameronian don't trust us Nigerians at all, so that makes it difficult for Nigeians to do business there. except they partner with someone over there. So this lady partnered with a guy there.

An Ibo guy though, but he had never been to Nigerian. he was born and raised there. he hardly even understood English.
In the course of their business, they started dating.
Business become very dry, they needed to change line of bizness, but here in Nigeria, so the guy, had to come to Nigeria with her. But at this point there was a problem, because he had another lady he could not leave behind. her name was ifeoma.
she was like a model.
So he explained to this lady that ifeoma was the only Child of her parents, who all died in a car crash. That he was her only family, so he couldn't leave her. The lady from my place accepted to allow Ifeoma follow them back to my place.

They came back, two beautiful women with one guy. They lived like brother and sisters. They started their business together.

The Lady from my place got pregnant first, Ifeoma got pregnant not long after that. they gave birth to sons. still living together.
Their babies were still very tender wen one day, a car pulled up in front of their house, which was just by the road. ( u know villages houses nah). Both women were sitting at the veranda of the house, when this car pulled up, Ifeoma got up and went inside the house suddenly. The other lady didn't notice anything.
The people who came out from the car, approached the house, and asked to see Ifeoma. Who are you people? they said ,they were Ifeoma's parents. The man who brought them was ifeoma's Uncle he had seen and recognised her, went home to Ohafia, Abia State, that's where Ifeoma was from, and told her parents that he saw their daughter, his niece, somewhere. After all said and done, it was agreed that they shd come and see for themselves, so they came.

The lady was surprised because Ifeoma had told them that her parents died in Cameroun when she was very young. But looking at the woman standing there, it was obvious she was Ifeoma's mum. So she called out to Ifeoma to come out, no responds. she got up and went inside the house, there was no one inside the house. they confirmed seeing someone going into the house. but she vanished. Nowhere to be found till tomorrow, No one has ever seen her again. Her pictures were all over the place, but no Ifeoma.

Her mother started crying, What happened? we were told that Ifeoma had died wen she was in Jss3 attempting to abort a baby. Her Uncle who goes into Villages to buy goods saw her, recognised her monitored her, was sure she was the one, before going home to his village with the news.
Her son was still sleeping on a cot right there.
This matter became a very serious matter. We all gathered to hear what happened. By this time, the lady from my place was hysterical. She was almost having a feat.

Ifeoma's mum said she wasn't going anywhere without the child. The man of the house travelled for business so,
The matter was taken to the Village council. The parents were told to go and come back pending when the baby's father will come back.

The man came back, and heard what happened, He couldn't believe it. Not long after that, we woke up one day, and they were gone. packed and left. But the boy is still alive now, because the lady from my village visits home from time to time.

Now, am not telling u a dream, I didn't read it, I didn't watch it on TV. I witnesses it. that family lived three houses away from mine. I had had contact with her several times. I had helped carried stuff for her while she was pregnant.
One day, She was gone and left a Child behind.

This is what I don't understand, and can't explain as Christian. So thank you @destinetee for bringing it up. maybe the enlightened ones here can help.

I had a dream when I was in sec skool about 12 yrs ago.
I saw a big black hurricane destroying houses and shops, everything at its wake. I was walking along a street and the hurricane came again, everybody was running including me, den I hid my self inside a shop. The hurricane passed and I wasn't hurt but the roof of the shop was gone.
Suddenly I found myself in a desolate place, it was dark and I could see the hurricane on a mountain top, the cloud was as if it was about to rain then I saw a figure (don't know if to call it an angel or not) it was tall and huge and dark I think he had a sword can't remember now, I couldn't see is face cos it was taller Dan the cloud. I felt cold and I bowed my self in fear. Then he said something, he said "do u know u can command that hurricane to stop?" and I said something like "if u say so" I woke up shivering.

OK. first that is NOT A DREAM FROM GOD. You ought to have rebuked the personality and reject the evil intimidation/invitation by the dark power.
1. hurricane: famine, hunger crunch, businesses lost
2. note that it was affecting shops (symbols of business spiritually)
3. dark personality that put in fear into ur mind ( that's a demon) ....for God has not given us the spirit of fear but power, love and sound mind. servants of God ALWAYS SAY PEACE BE STILL IF THE PERSON THEY R SENT TO IS SCARED.
4. the demon IN UR DREAM said something similar to what the devil told eve in the garden... like suggesting to eve....DO YOU KNOW IF YOU EAT FROM THE TREE, YOU SHALL BE LIKE GOD?.
5. the draught/ famine was about to end wen the demon was suggestting something to you... (rain was about to fall) rain symbolizes refreshing, relif, blessings....
6. you woke up in fear......fear is the primary weapon of the devil.

my humble analysis.....a testing or trial might be coming. be patient. trust in God. refuse evil advice from friends..... can't talk much. God bless and help u.amen

I actually don't know where to start but I am disturbed. As I am typing this I am having a persistent headache. It is somehow complicated to explain. Though I feel it is inborn but a whole lot triggered it even when I was in teen.
I recently visited health center for this reason where I was referred to the human behavioural department.
I was to take a drug called Setraline for a year. Yet, I stopped half way. I still see suicide as the best solution. It is just one time solution.
I also feel I should punish some people by committing suicide.

I have a good wife who have been the only reason why I think I should live. I keep thinking how she will feel if that happens to me.
Plenty things going on in my mind as it has always been.
I don't even know if I need counseling, help, assistant.
I just feel bad for my condition
