Please let them deal with him personally, are you their lawyer? Don't you know EFCC office?

As hard as it is to believe that anyone would fall for such cheap scam, there might be someone out there who might have fallen prey to him were it not for posts like mine. I am alerting people on threads he has posted to be aware of him, and you're coming out here to defend him or criticize me? Maybe you're one of them else you won't be defending him. Okay Emmanuel borrow him your own 300,000 Naira

He may or may not be a scammer. None of my business. But from the email he sent to you, he was only soliciting and you can ignore it or tell him you are not interested.

If all the guy has done is solicit for funds from you, I’m wondering why you are going around NL telling everyone he’s a scammer without proof that he is one. If you get proof, also share the proof na. Otherwise, the whole thing sounds very fishy.

But wetin concern me. Make I go chop Sunday rice jare grin grin
A stranger emails you asking for a whooping 300,000 Naira loan, promises you 10% in a month, and you don't think that's a scam? Or what about the fact that he targets certain people here based on how much he thinks they have? Anyone who defends that scammer is also defending themselves. You know yourselves

Please get busy and stop this drama.

He asked for a loan, you are at liberty to either grant or decline the request
Others have come out to say he sent similar emails. You think it is okay that he targets certain people in the hopes he would swindle them of their hard earned money all in the name of loan?

LordAdam16:

I'll admit I would not purchase the two other paintings you shared, much more for the amounts quoted. However, I'd hesitate to label them 'frauds,' simply because they do not match my taste.

On a related note, I wouldn't be a collector of baseball cards, coins, figurines, and dozens of other contemporary collectibles. Doesn't mean the collectible items are fraud. I'd gladly pay tens of millions on a Faberge egg, but wouldn't buy a similarly priced Qin Dynasty Chinese pottery.

Art is based in large part on collective approval. If you like a painting and it's recognizable, the only takeaway is that your taste aligns with a majority for that painting. It doesn't make you the sole arbiter of art quality. Yours could just as easily diverge from popular opinion on another painting.

The humility to recognize that is a prerequisite for taking in art in all its splendor.

Art is not close-minded. It explains the evolution of personal artistic taste. To illustrate, Lord Rothschild has a more refined taste than I do; as such he can easily bring me around on a painting that I would hitherto brush off in a showing.

Your attempt to reduce this nuance to a hoax tells me that you need to spend more time in gallerias, befriend more artists, add art lovers to your social circle, and brush up on your art history.

That said, I'm taken aback by your comment on "a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment." You do not have to spend hundreds of millions on a painting to be in a state of mind characterized by that clause. Eating an Italian cuisine at a Michelin 3-star restaurant or floating in the turquoise waters of Mauritius will evoke the exact same "sense of satisfaction and accomplishment."

Obviously to a lesser degree, but that's a far cry from stating that expensive art purchases 'represent' an ego trip. That's only true in the minds of a myopic cynic of which there are many.

And there has been no one in the mold of Da Vinci in over 400 years. This in a planet with a current standing population of 8 billion. So excuse art connoisseurs if they choose to revel in the authentic creations of less-gifted artists until another once-a-millennia genius pops around.

In confidence I'll tell you this; enjoy life. Whether you want to be an ascetic or indulge in all of the finer pleasures; soak in the experience of living than be bothered to a point of incense about how others deploy their resources.

That is the problem. They do not care. As long as there is some money to loot, the entire country can go to blazes.

No planning, no strategic thinking, no coordination. Just asset stripping. Every 4 or 8 years, another gang of Aladdin and 40 Thieves will take the field and run riot at all levels of governance.

All this talk of devaluation, lack of fund, diversification, population growth, and more flies over their heads while they feign attention. It's surreal.

A person will fly with Emirates to UAE to buy a house with looted funds, then return to Nigeria and use billions to launch a National Airline logo; and you think that person is normal!

Conserve your pity.

That girl you're pitying has a laundry list of guys she's billing and shunning at the moment. She's told them, she traveled to her parent's or relative's house.

School resume, they'd continue doing favors hoping to be next in line, get a piece, or pry her away from "Mr. Cucumber". Third year, serious guys will start chasing her, because last last "vaj no get meter".

Romance / Re: Reality Every Guy Need To Know ( STRICTLY REDPILL) ... by Nnamz(m): 2:45pm On Feb 21, 2021
LordAdam16:

Apologies for the delay in my response.

As always, I'll open with a disclaimer (when necessary):

I'm MGTOW. By default, I'm a proponent of 1 Corinthians 7:1. As such, it's fair to actively parse my comment for bias and I may not be the best person to listen to on purple pill matters.

That said, the good thing is quite a portion--if not a majority of commercially successful media personalities in the manosphere are purple-pillers. So there isn't a shortage of good advice from folks who've taken the same path you intend to and who you might better relate with on shared experiences.

Take this remarkable comment by pansophist for example ('twas a response to yet another blue-pilled complainant):

If you need a precis or a pocketbook guide to committed relationships for a redpiller in the 21st century, importantly by someone who is walking the talk, that's as concise as it'd get.

The template is reproducible and easy to grasp.

A: Be certain of what you want.
B. Know what you'd compromise on and what you wouldn't compromise on.
C. Be willing to take your leave if she fails to meet her end of the bargain on a key benefit in the "no compromise" column.

===

Now, maybe you want to hear what I have to say on the subject. In which case, I'd oblige.

I'd answer your question first. Then touch on the wider subject matter for emphasis

---

Your question was:

Seeking women who are into the culture of previous generations is still possible in traditional climes like ours. However, times are changing for everyone and she'll inevitably be influenced by the changes. Especially if you reside in an urban setting or your own attempts at self-improvement offer her the opportunity to see first-hand what 'modern' women are up to and the complete insanity they can get away with.

Now you might be fortunate that she stays traditional ad infinitum. But the odds of that are low.

---

You may have heard the expression:

Hard times create strong men, Strong men create good times, Good times create weak men, and Weak men create hard times.

This is relevant because by definition, culture is the way of life of a particular group of people. We are at the "good times create weak men" stage, which explains the changing culture. Thinking you can flip the script as a one-man army is wishful thinking.

To be accurate, we've been down this road before. In times of weariness and disaster, women don't care about rights. They just want to be safe and have access to resources. Of course, men have to bear the brunt of it and pay with our lives. However, when hard times are over and things are blissful, they get their rights without much prodding.

Ancient Egyptian women during the Middle Kingdom had more rights than modern Egyptian women. Why wouldn't they? The Empire was the dominant power on the planet, there was zero unemployment, little to no social mobility, and the concept of Ma'at meant everyone knew their place and their roles in keeping the empire running.
Spartan women had more rights than Athenian and even Persian women. Why wouldn't they? Their men subjugated a slave population that outnumbered the native Spartan population and they were feared on the battlefield. Like today with Western women having machines perform all their menial tasks. Spartan women had slaves do all their menial tasks.
Likewise with Roman women (citizens) compared to their contemporaries.

With the end of World War II and the ensuing prosperity and bliss, the same thing is happening with Western women.

===

Now in the past, because of existential threats, there were hard limits to how much leeway women could get when times were good.

Today, most of those existential threats are no more with sovereignty, rules of engagement, war crimes, the ratification of fundamental human rights, mutually assured destruction and other fail-safe mechanisms.

As such, eventually that culture of previous generations that you fondly reminisce about will die out as simping becomes the gold standard. And those of us who live in urban settings or in the West/West-leaning conclaves are on the front-row.

This explains why it is not accurate to use some of the enduring longstanding marriages of yesteryears as templates for today. Ma Adeboye will not tell Pa Adeboye to go sleep on the couch after an argument. Joke Silva does not expect Olu Jacobs to share the chores 50:50. So while they celebrate their golden jubilees and you're fantasizing about replicating it or using them as #relationshipgoals, understand that the pillars and culture that made that possible are not available to you.

To get to that same point, be prepared to be chewed inside out and embark on a wildly different and rigorous journey.

===

Thus, if you still decide to go for committed relationships, even though contemporary culture puts you at a disadvantage; the last thing you want to do is hope to find a unicorn. The idea of unicorns is that they're rare. Not enough to go round, are always sought after even if they're spoken for, and that at the end of the day, they're still horses.

A traditional woman is still a woman. And to give a lucid instance, most of the diaspora men who failed to realize that fact by inviting "women who are into the culture of previous generations" from Nigeria were sharply lectured with cold, hard horror experiences.

The best you can do is prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

Mind you, this is not as nihilistic as it sounds. This is not to mean that you would not have happy times in a committed relationship or marriage as a purple-piller. Especially if you continue to improve yourself and apply TRP nuggets shared here.

Heck, there are a lot of purple-pillers who say the good times are worth the risk and eventual lull periods. In any case, it's not my place to question your reality. That's one of the few good things about the current climate and one I hope more TRPillers take advantage of, you're at liberty to do whatever makes you happy.

Just remember that as investment bankers say "past performance is no guarantee of future results" and ensure you've made appropriate preparations or contingency plans should you become a statistic. Because we only hear complaints after the women have showed their wild side. But when modern men are feeling like Jay Z thinking they have their partners wrapped around their fingers, rather than make hay while the sun shines, they're usually reckless both in words and deeds.

Don't be reckless.

1. Enter every relationship with a clear idea of what you expect to get out of it and what you can reasonably expect to sacrifice.

If you're going in because you prefer to raise your kids in a nuclear family and are willing to sacrifice your individuality, many of your dreams, some of your cherished friendships, amongst many other things. Then by the gods, if years later she becomes insufferable that it begins to affect the family unit and your kids well being, read her the Riot Act.

2. I have to repeat this, have a clear idea of what you can reasonably expect to sacrifice.

Everything has a price. Including entering a marriage or a committed relationship. It might not sound like a big deal now. But 12 years later, you'd wake up, look at her face as she sleeps and wonder "how the f*ck was I so arrogant to believe I could deal with this sh*t for decades".

3. If you're improving yourself, she should be too.

If you choose to overlook this or tolerate her nasty, that's your prerogative and should be your choice. Don't be knackered into believing that while you're working on yourself and literally sucking up to your boss to maintain your lifestyle and not lose her, that her flaws are a package deal that you MUST accept without her even attempting to work on them.

In the 21st century, that's a pile of crap. If marriage is work, you should not be the only one stacking bricks.

4. Live in the moment, enjoy the little things, and soak up the experiences.

Because it might not last, it might be all that gets you through the bad times, it might be your only respite when you look back on your misadventure, or even be a critical reason why your marriage, civil union, or committed relationship lasts.

5. Have an insurance plan.

Whether it's walking away, getting a mistress, separation, signing a prenup if you're in the diaspora, having a sizable nest egg that can't be touched even if she goes scorched earth; never as a rule of thumb let yourself be at the mercy of a woman (or any human being for that matter).

Don't tempt fate! And don't let anyone guilt-trip you into thinking looking out for yourself means you don't "love" her enough. That should go both ways, if she "loves" you enough, she should want you to be happy if things don't work out.

6. Doing all these things and more does not guarantee anything.

People discover new things about themselves. Circumstances change and people react differently to change. Also, everyone has a breaking point.

===

In fairness, I'll admit, it is depressing.

Most guys out there are just looking for dependable companionship, respect, and appreciation and are willing to walk to the ends of the earth for any woman who'd provide that or even the mere illusion of that. Unfortunately, they have to go searching through treacherous terrain for something their grand and great grand fathers probably took for granted.

That said, in the voice of Eneke the Bird, "Since [hunters] have learned to shoot without missing, I have learned to fly without perching."

Be like Eneke the Bird.

I had to allow ample time for commentary before responding.

Silence is not always golden. Posting this for posterity.

===

A nairalander solicited a loan from another nairalander. That is not shocking. There are numerous public loan request threads and posts in this section. I sent a private loan request in confidence because I need a loan. That's the primary reason normal people ask for loans, be it publicly or privately: Because they need it. The potential creditor can choose to accept or refuse the request.

Do I regret sending a dm with a loan request? NO! I'm not naive. I understand that when I send a mail, the choice of what to do with it, is up to the recipient. Whether to ignore, respond, or use it as a meme online is not my call.

Well, it's out here now. Thanks for that. If you're reading this, you have disposable cash, and can afford to extend a loan for one month (at a very good rate for a short term loan), please hit me up. Whatever concerns you have, I'll do my best to assuage them.

The Investment/Business sub-community on Nairaland is small. My post history is public. Anyone can read my posts (and possibly glean insights from them). If you want to get a notification every time I make a post, join my queue of followers. Want to quickly identify me, I always sign off with "-Lord."

I'm productive enough to make my own bread without stealing from anyone. If I need help momentarily, I'll respectfully ask for it. I need a loan today: I'll definitely have an account surplus later this year. Change is constant.

===

PS: If you got this far, you'll notice I did not respond directly to the crusader and ensemble. That is intentional.

Why? Because my f*cks are in short supply.

Anyone who wants to help, please do. If you don't want to help, you don't have to. If you think your time is best spent circle-jerking about a private loan request, by all means, continue.

-Lord
No reasonable savvy investor would like this your soliciting post, so it's suffice to say you used your three other scamming monikers to like your post. You are a scammer and no one here is going to give you a dime. If you doubt me, show us proof of someone who gave you a loan after you emailed them. I doubt anyone is that stupid to throw away hard earned money. Leave this page for investors and stop entering people's dms.

If they do, assuming this is an option, let them sign strong water proof court document that should they default on rent by even one second, their wages would be garnished to pay you the debt they owe.

I have a tenant that is owing 5 months rent right now. His rent was due end of January. It's stories every day. Very frustrating. He said he is a Pastor
Make una dey use hard hand dey handle these tenants na. Do credit check on them. Get their work to sign papers that their job is permanent. Don't rent out to them if they do not have a 110% reliable job. Know how much they make. If possible, let their employer be their guarantor that they will never default on rent. DON'T JUST FILL UP YOUR HOUSE WITH JUST ANY TOM DICK HARRY FROM THE STREET. I think that's how I would play the game if I was renting out houses.
Crime / Re: Lagos High Court Sentences Two Men To Death For Rape, Robbery by Nnamz(m): 1:43am On Jun 14, 2020
Seun:
Armed robbers and rapists should not be sentenced to death unless they killed someone. The punishment for armed robbery and rape should be significantly more lenient than the punishment for murder. Otherwise, what incentive do heartless robbers and rapists have to exercise restraint and refrain from killing their victims? If it was up to me, I would impose sentences of up to 5 years for rapists and up to 10 years for armed robbers who didn’t kill anyone. I would reserve the death penalty for people convicted of first degree murder based on very solid evidence.
5 years for rape? Are you mad Are you okay? Do you have sisters? Do you have female cousins or just relatives in general that are females? If you have a sister, blood sister oh, I hope she never gets raped.

I am not saying rapists should get the death sentence but haba 5 years? At least 20 years for rapists. In fact, rapists should get more time than robbers because in most cases it is poverty that drives one to commit robbery so let's blame the worthless country for their actions (give first time offenders for robbery maybe 3 years; 5 highest) but rapists, they have no excuse for such despicable heinous crime so I say 20 years or more.

I keep hearing "what are we producing as nigerians" this statement is very insulting and it shows a lot of people are not really aware about their environment.
If you want to know more about producers we have in nigeria then join Business associations, Simple to meet them.
MAN - Manufacturer association of Nigeria
Abscon
Nasme
Nassi - Nigeria association of small scale industrialist (am in this group, Abeokuta chapter)
Naccima/Chamber of commerce
Amen - Association of micro entrepreneurs of nigeria
Smedan
Etc
You will marvel and be surprise by the sheer numbers of business men and entrepreneurs we have in nigeria.
Afan - All farmers association of Nigeria (am in this one too)
Register with Nepc - Nigeria Export promotion commission with just 12k and be an exporter even with small things like natural african honey and snails and earn dollars.
A lot of youths just want to sit at home and the govt should spoonfeed them with money and jobs.
To get a loan or government approved loans are very easy.
Join any of the above association because they work directly with government and cbn and all loans come through them like Nirsal loan, anchor borrowers scheme (this is still on going in our Nassi whatsapp group). etc
As at this January, i was at ogun state/federal meeting where they were begging us to take loans released by government through BOI, BOA, banks like sterling, zenith etc with there representatives there for Smes.
Getting capital or loan is not a problem if you have a good business plan etc
I applied for 10m this January but later pulled out but my colleagues got theirs after a 1-week compulsory cbn entrepreneurship seminar/class to brush us up.
I dropped out because i can raise that money from my salary so no need for it i learnt a lot from the class
Is it not Ogbonnaya Onu (minister for science and techñology) that said few years back that Nigeria plans to start producing her own pencils by 2018 and would be the first pencil plant in West Africa. Abeg let's rephrase that question: what are we Africans producing as a continent?

Random post. I just spoke to a medical doctor from Nigeria. He has been in Canada for only 3 years so I asked him where he got his medical degree from. Guess where: Nigeria. Our very own Nigerian graduate practicing medicine in Canada with a degree from Nigeria (okay maybe he had to take a one year course since he's from another country, especially a third world country like Nigeria). If you are reading this right now and have plans and hopes and aspiration of going overseas to work, I am here to tell you that you will not go to that country (at least not Canada) to sweep roads or drive taxis or do some other menial jobs. If someone can practice medicine in Canada with a degree from Nigeria (a shithole country if we are to call a spade a spade), then believe me that you can travel overseas with your degree and be anything you want. And as for those saying they know Mr. A who left his managerial job in Nigeria or medical job in Syria only to go overseas to drive a cab, please check with this person and get their story straight. Once again, we have Nigerian doctors here (though I've only just met one) with degrees from Nigeria practicing medicine here so don't be discouraged by the naysayers.

You are new and u started by insulting people?

Everybody has his or her speed of understanding. No question is stupid as it can answer to many who are reading without asking.

Google cannot make u money, practice will. Money making is an act.

This thread started since 2012 and a lot of us have asked so called lazy questions but it has paid off on many
That poster made a valid point and you're attacking him. This money you wanna invest, you did not steal it (or at least let us assume that). Why come here asking questions like someone just dashed you the money? These are the kind of people that always fall for mmm schemes because they want fast money and would rather drop their money anywhere rather than take their time to study where they are putting their blood and sweat (money). Stop coming here to ask people to calculate 11% of your funds for you. Have some shame na.

Follow madam advice and also invest wisely. Children tend to learn from what they see their parents doing day in day out.

If you're smart, your kids will learn your smartness. Be a reflection n the book he/she will be reading for a better results. Welcome to our midst, I pray your life will never remain the same as you pay close attention to this thread.
My advice to the OP is to follow his guts. OP, if wifey tells you A and your guts says do it, then do it. You're not following madam's advice, but rather your guts. Based on how sensible your wife is, your guts would direct you whether or not to lean towards her plan, whether to go 100% or 50% with her idea. So once again, dear OP, follow your guts.

This is very nice.

How is it done Sir?

Thanks
You take a photo of the cheque (I know I earlier said screenshot. My mistake). You log into your bank account, select e-deposit, upload the picture of the cheque and you would have the money in your account IMMEDIATELY.
