Then, why do you people stick to gtbank if their bid keep failing?
Because I just go for the highest days in the secondary market lol. I have accounts with StanBic, First, and Zenith but I just want to keep all my tbills in one bank.

I think GTb is purposely withholding people’s money. They can’t have two failed bid consecutively....
If this fails, this would be the third consecutively for me lol.

Between then when I made that post and now, I have invested 4 million in tbills so that puts me at 31 million you otondo. Don't go and make money. Be here doubting the money people have while your mates are making millions. Otondo!

Plz I haven't understand the scenario of the yield and true yield about Tbills, is there anybody there that can make this clear to me. Thank you in advance
Thousands of people have made this clear. This is page 785 of this thread. Come on man take a minute and read some pages. Don't be lazy. You can even search what you need e.g. enter "true yield" in the search bar and it would direct you to the answers you need. Get off your lazy horse!

@Nnamz

No worries with the indemnity. It just means that they can take instructions from you via your registered email without worrying. I use it myself and I'm resident in Lagos. Just ensure your email is secure always.

Also confirm that you cannot book NTB via your internet banking platform. GTBank has this feature

Alternatively, you can give me the money to invest on your behalf grin grin grin wink wink wink. I promise not to jaaapaa with your money cheesy. Cross my heart and hope to kpai
You @ me so I guess you want me to drop my opinion. I have lots of treasury bills running with GT Bank, and I'm doing another next week. I have never walked into a bank to do tbills. In my opinion, you have nothing to worry about in terms of safety and security of your money. Just don't fall for scam emails and you will be good

@Gogedda welcome to Canada. What province? Nova Scotia?

Well, wouldn't want to mention the item for personal reasons.

But my ₦15,000,000 gave me roughly $75,000. I got the item at bulk price of $100 each and bulk ship at $10 per item. I sold them here in naija around 68k - 70k each when dollar was almost ₦500.
Bros what's so personal about what you import? This is a faceless forum so it cannot be that bad. Share some info jor let others here learn from you. Unless you're just making up those figures sha

Yes Ma'am it is correct. 500,000 * 0.1025 per cent = 51,250
51,250 divided by 364 days is 140.796......
140.796..... times 114 days is 16,050.824175.....
Remember that interest is per annum, that's why I divided the interest by 364 days, and multiplied it by 114 days.
MODIFIED: Also please read previous pages of this thread like Ogogoro (which kin name be that sef) stated above
bobeefc:

please how is this % calculated. my gtb account officer said it is calculated per annum. i did 500k for 114 days @ 10.25 and only got about 16k+. please is this correct

Are you related to Innoson Motors? Why you come take the thing for head like this? Don't give yourself high blood pressure on top this matter o. Leave those guys alone to settle their issues biko. They are at worst billionaires. You are here I guess to at least achieve some financial freedom, so leave them alone to drag their problem. GTBANK no be my papa bank and Innoson no promise me 1 Kobo if he wins and gets paid by GTbank so why should I drop my load and carry another man load for head. Nigerian youths behave atimes like dimwits. That is why Politicians and Pastors succeeds in defrauding and raping them over and over again of their resources.

How much did you say that GTB is owing Innoson again?

Eight (cool billion naira. Good.

According to Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB), Quarter 3 (Unaudited Report), October 2018...

Balance Sheet
Total assets ₦ 3.433 Trillion.
Shareholders’ Funds ₦ 534.3 Billion.

Other Summaries
Gross earnings ₦ 337.3 Billion.
Profit before tax ₦ 164.2 Billion.
Customers’ deposit ₦ 2.239 Trillion.

And, you said Innoson is taking over 3.433 trillion naira because of 8 billion naira?

This is exactly the reason why some people had salt bath in 2014 because of EBOLA.

Even God wont bother to help some really stupid people in this Nigeria!
Oga I thought we were past that na. Why bring it up again

Meanwhile advice to anyone wishing to go longer tenor for Treasury bills to hold his breath at these times. Let's continue to observe the demand and supplies of the OMO until those heavy liquid in the economy that saw the last few offers over subscribed begin to get diversified. The reduction in MPR by 50 basis point might help this spread in its own little way. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
Just sent my treasury bill request for this week's auction, for 364 days. Keep holding your breath till you run out of oxygen.
