dkidd: Everything isn't about mugu. People actually do meet online and nurture their feelings for each other, plan a future together and eventually make it real. Why are u guys negatively stupid on this forum
So true. I met my husband online and he came to see me and we got married too. we have been married for 8 years and have a five year old son. The difference is he is Nigerian and then filed for me to join him.
Kenn55: America is becoming very useless. What kind of stupidity is this? Imagine putting children in this mindset at this early age instead of just removing guns off the streets.
Why do these guys worship guns so much that they are willing to accept unnecessary deaths? You guys living in America are very tough people ooo.
Each time I travel to the US, I don't have peace of mind until I return to Canada. Thank God I didn't accept an offer to work in the US despite the bigger pay. I can't imagine living with this fuckery. Everything is not money abeg.
My son is 4 years old and is in a half day prekindergarten program. I went to pick him up from school today and they were doing school shooting and fire drills . They were asked to stay in a turtle shell position with their heads inside and their hands covering their ears. I know it’s to be prepared in the case it happens but the school shooting drills rubbed me off in a certain way.
baretalk: Even in America police can check phones, if they have a suspicion or need to, you people are not really enlightened about police job, they might be a reason why they are checking it. It's not a big deal, if you have nothing to hide. The police is there for public safety.
That’s not true. They must have a search warrant authorized by a Judge
Last night I was in panic mood. I have just finished putting my son who is 4 to bed. I decided to do the dishes , it wasn’t up to 30 minutes when my son ran out of the room to meet me . He was holding a medication and said mommy see. I grabbed it from him and ran into the room with him to find more medications for blood pressure on the bed . He climbed the dresser and took the medication I even forgot I left there. I screamed and asked him if he took it he said no but I wasn’t so sure . I opened his mouth I didn’t see any medication particles but I was so scared He later said yes he did but also said no So I was confused I called the poison line and told them The person I spoke to told me that since I wasn’t sure the best thing was to take him to the emergency room I took him to the emergency room and he was examined and his blood pressure was checked every 15 mins It didn’t crash Blood work was done including EKG and chest X-ray After 3 hours, his blood pressure was still normal. The doctor discharged us and told us it was unlikely he took it I really thank God Last night was scariest night of my life
lhordspy: Inflation is everywhere. Even in your supposedly Second-heaven and slave Master's country, United state.
Support the government instead of criticising them with every little opportunity you have. The government has failed in the area of security but not economy. The whole world is going through its own too.
Most of you just sit here in Nigeria, criticise the government and politicised everything, oblivious of the present situation around the world. Just last two weeks their was protest across France and it continued this week over this same inflation issues.
Inflation is everywhere but the USA government has programs to help it’s citizens and cushion the effect . There is WIC for pregnant women and children under 5, Food-stamps and government housing vouchers. There is Medicaid for low income earners. School is free from prekindergarten to high school. Students are feed twice at school There are food banks and other non profits that helps with payment of house rents and other utilities just to mention a few What do we have in Nigeria ? Stop supporting mediocre government
The emergency response in USA is very good I remember waking up one day and my son wasn’t responding. He was about 18 months old, he later vomited and I tried stimulating him but no response. I immediately called 911 and the ambulance came within 5 mins and rushed my son to the Texas children hospital pediatric emergency unit . On the way, they were communicating with the doctor about his vital signs and their was help already when we arrived at the hospital. They did MRI, chest X-ray , and all blood work including drug screening for my son. All the results came out immediately and the later realized my son mistakenly took my husband’s blood pressure medication. I was a medic in Nigeria . If this happened in Nigeria my son would have died Our medical response is a joke and am a doctor so I know first hand. Not to bash Nigeria but we still have a long way to go I was given everything because it was an emergency I didn’t go with diapers or car seat I was provided with diapers and car seat and when he was discharged because we just relocated and I was not working my son was on Medicaid I didn’t pay anything A car was even arranged for us to take us home when he was discharged
walkbrazil4k: This is false, border patrol can't determine nothing only the immigration officials can deny you entry and that is what having a valid visa actually means, valid visa. Which business would you even have with border patrol, you are not entering the country illegally.
walkbrazil4k: Having valid visas means they have the right to enter but they can still be denied entry by the American immigration but they still have the right to enter because they have valid visas.
Having a visa can allow you to try to enter any country that issued the visa but it’s the border patrol that determines if you can enter It’s not your right. The people that have rights are they citizens of the country
Munamoqel: fact there are more opportunities for Nigerians in Nigeria than any where else . My friend in America a pharmacist is trying to convert a former baber shop to pharmacy .it taking over a year for approval . It took him 3 months to set up in a mall in Abuja .
And you think is normal that it took him 3 months can you imagine No wonder we have people importing fake drugs into Nigeria everyday
EkelediliBuhari: I never said Nigeria is the best … I never said it’s easy here in Nigeria…
Am just stating the fact that there are more opportunities here in nigiera
I chose to restrict the comparisons to basics and menial jobs since it practically what Nigerians go abroad to do.
Oh my God see generalization So Nigerians go abroad for menial jobs? I don’t know who told you this but everyone I know including , my husband , my brothers and and I are not doing menial jobs and we all migrated here legally. We have Nigerians in all walks of life .
And the America many of you are dying to go to are still killing her citizens because of skin color. Just pray you don't end up being a victim. Africa is still the best place to be especially as a so-called Black Person. It's just unfortunate that Nigeria due to tribal and religious squabbles have gone to the dogs.
I don’t know why you keep pushing this narrative. If Nigeria favors you stay in Nigeria. Nobody is being forced to travel Migration has always been in existence since humans first walked on this earth You are now sounding like a broken record , cheers !!!
Mothernature11: Hi everyone, please i need your opinion. I just had my eggs transferred on Wednesday and i was given pyrimlut depot injection for every 5 days, folic acid, vasoprin, duphaston three times daily, prednisolone and cyclogest morning and night. Please do i still need to take gestone injection because i was not given and when i asked i was told i dont need it.
I think you should take gestone injection instead of primolut N depot injection Gestone is primarily progesterone while primolut N is a progesterone precursor and is later converted to progesterone in the body
I still remember that day. It was a Sunday I was in Lagos was supposed to go back to port Harcourt with Monday morning flight I almost canceled my flight but I didn’t have enough money When we boarded everyone was so tensed and everyone was praying during the flight. When we got to port Harcourt everybody shouted thank You Jesus . I have never been that scared as I was on that flight
