As they augmented me, my contractions become painful but still nt painful enough, I was even telling my neighbour who was screaming her lungs out due to labour pain sorry,...infact d nurses come dey use dey gv example to other women in labour, they were like "see that woman over there, u won't believe she is 6cm and u re just 3cm na him we no go hear word" (nurses and thier mouth sha)...while all these was going on I never knew d Dr. was secretly observing me from his desk, I heard him whisper to the head nurse in charge...are you sure this "big baby" is really contracting cos her baby's head is low and given the time she came she should have been 10cm by now....the nurse came, oya open ur leg let us check...Ah u re barely 7cm, ...Dr come ooo is like u re ryt she is nt contracting...Dat was when the Dr. told the nurse to bring "that thing" and inject me...if only I hv noticed the mischievous wink d Dr and d nurse exchanged I should have guessed what that thing was.
They first gv me one dose of that thing...whew the pain kinda doubled....i just bone..i no wan shout...for my mind I dey form James Bond....after I exhausted that one they checked and gave me a 2nd dosage of "that thing" that was it finally dawned on me that was notin else but "oxytocin"....na him dem, dem dey pump inside me like purewater...omo within 5mins (that's even an exaggeration)...I began to dance different dance styles...from makossa, to suo, to alanta, to alingo, azonto, even skelewu and shoki all I dance am there...I dance even my village dance for dem sef....I was just shouting Nnem ooo, Nnem oooo! like one local village girl....all d nurses were just smiling (bad belle ppl )...d contract. were coming every 1 min...before I knew it I felt as if someone opened the tank where they store all the poo in my body...all of a sudden I began to shout..."I wan sh!t ooo! I wan sh!t ooo"...one of d nurses screamed at me "my friend will u lie down don't u know is ur baby that is coming"....another nurse came to check then exclaimed "ah the baby's head is here ooo"...she turned her back to bring scissors for tearing...before she could turn to face me, I don born my pikin....but they still gave me a small cut...guess it's the hospital policy to give all ftm a cut...she weighed 3kg (soh soh )...we were discharged d next day

At the hospital, I was directed to the labour room, dh couldn't follow (hospital policy)...was further directed to the Dr. In charge, on pervy looking guy sha (God forgive me) and he asked me to get ready to be "checked" to know how far I have dilated...now for d life of me I never ever ever knew that "checking" involves the Dr going down low, I thought is just something that involves d use of machines and stuffs like dat just like in Scans that will determine how far apart u are...so in essence nothing prepared me for d pain...I screamed like say tomorrow no dey...trust d Dr him yabb nonsense commot for my body...he nicknamed me "big baby" ,...he was like "Madam what hv u been doing at home since, ure already 6cm...after that he inserted his whole fingers and used a plastic stick to break my water bag that was when it finally dawned on me that this sh!t is real....they gave me a bed and told me to totally UnCloth....i was still having contractions but they were not painful ( I can whitstand pain to a large extent naturally)....that was how I stayed until 3am when they decided to "augment" me...the contractions became stronger and a bit painful but still manageable...

wheew *stretches bones* finally some me time, God when was d last tym I had a full night sleep...make I kuku post my BS...
On 30 of Dec, 2015...I woke up around 5am with a "funny feeling"...I couldn't sleep, neither could I lie on the bed or even eat I was just restless...later found out those funny feeling was what they call contractions...by 7am I noticed the intensity of the contrac. had increased and where 10minutes apart...I was still skeptical if this was actually the almighty "Labour" that has started...DH on d oda hand was panicky...he helped me to re-pack my already packed bags and was drumming into my eyes almost every 5mins "come make we go hospital" but I refused for my mind labour pain suppose dey PAINFUL but wat I was experiencing was not painful enough to me sha...na so I knack my xmas cloth wey I no fit wear on xmas day begin dey go market to shop for new year celebration tinz...as I came back I noticed the contractions has seized, boy was I dissapointed...I thought this was it...my edd was 31/12/2015 and I never wanted my baby to enter 2016....i no want all these Dec and Nov babies come dey form seniority on top her head.....Now after cooking my contractions was still "missing" I just decided to leave everything to God and took a nap...i hardly sleep in the afternoon but that day I slept for 5 hours straight only to wake up in the evening time to discover my DH has re-arranged our room....my mind flew to the bottle of castor oil I kept in my box, afraid catch me make ds man no discover ds thing cos seriously I don't even hv energy for his outburst...only to discover it missing from my box...I emptied all the contents in d box still couldn't find it...my dh was just steering at me...he asked me what I was looking for I told him nothing..after sumtym he asked again I still gv him d same reply...he just took hs phone nd went to d parlour... less than 5mins later...omo I saw d side of ds man I hv never seen before...he started shouting from d parlour..."U mean u want to induce labour on yourself wt ds castor oil...u mean u want to kill urself and ds innocent child wt ds bottle"...I couldn't even talk out of shock...hw did he find d bottle...within a second he called my mum, elder sis and bro and even told them he kept d bottle as evidence should anything happen to his baby....in d midst of all these drama my contractions were "waking up" within 30 minutes it was stronger but to me still nt painful...at a point when dh couldn't bear it any longer he bundled me and my delivery bag and drove us to the hospital....that is where the real show began

I will advise you hold on sis. I took just a spoonful at 41weeks even though I won't advise anyone to use it because the labour came suddenly with full force and it happened almost immediately I took it.

I couldn't control myself that I started pushing when the whole hospital workers and my people were called in to beg me to stop pushing. Did you read my BS? I gave birth in the **labour ward** instead of labour room. Why? Because I couldn't control myself, I was pushing seriously at 4cm. The whole floor was filled with blood.

It was too much that the doctors asked if i used something. **i didn't confess**

Lastly,after I ve given birth, the doctor advised me to opt for CS next time if I know I won't listen to simple instructions because I could have tore my womb assuming my baby is big** he weighed 2.4**.

I was lucky everyone concentrated on me because I was the only one in the labour ward that night at MCC Gbaja ( imagine, for general hospital even though like 10 people came the same time after I ve given birth) if not something else could have happened.

I'm not saying all the above to scare you, but to advise you to hold on. You are almost there.
