that is why allah decided to create a religion and told only one arab in a cave! and also decided to take up residency in arabia (kaaba).

i am by no means a fan of lincoln what am trying to say is if lincoln a "bad" man could see the wrong in slavery why didnt the "good" god of the bible/koran see it?

many pple just want to hang on to religion because they cant contemplate the idea of life without a religion. i myself i am a secret non-beliver i cannot come out in the open in ilorin where i come from, even my wife doesnt know yet. but the thruth is god is not an arab neither is he a jew!

no muslim will ever agree that islam condones violence. i remember that i myself used to argue with people of other faiths that those pple that were terrorists were not muslims, that churches were being bombed in the north because of the ignorance and poverty level bla bla bla and yo back it up with convinient quotes from the holy koran, like when you ask an islamic scholar why the phrophet had to kill the jews of banu quraiza, they tell you that it was the jews fault that they were threacherous,ubelievers bla bla bla.the truth is for you to be able to recognise the evils perpetrated and condoned by islam you must have a conscience and be in touch with your humanity.

let me just say i left because i got tired of the fairy tales about hell and all that.plus you are probably a muslim because you were born into the islamic faith if you were say an eskimo you wont be a muslim.the truth is all religions are man made.i used to laugh and mock pagans and christians when i was growing up because my mualim made me understand that they were misguided pple, now that i no longer believe in islam i see things diffrently islam is no better than those other religion you only think it is! just like they feel thier religion is better than yours. i must confess though that islam has shaped my character i feel i am a good person because i have been guided from childhood by my mualims and the society that i grew up in to be of exemplary character.

LagosShia: that you don't know that the Almighty God Muslims believe in is not an idol and have no beginning or end,and He is the Creator of everyone and everything and cannot be seen with the na.ked eyes.that is Allah (swt) muslims believe in.even for argument sake,let us assume there was an idol called "allah" in pre-Islamic times in Makkah,does that mean the distorted idea of godship (and corruption of a word by pagans) the pagans present is the same idea and description muslims hold? and what about going into the term "Allah" linguistically to know what it means and identify who it refers to in reality?

abraham was never in arabia. besides. why would allah that is suppossed to be for everybody appear to only one man (an arab) and his house is in arabia (kaaba)

plus dont yuo think it rather convinient that while every other abdul was named after a god in the kaaba. the phrophet's faher's abdul is a general god that is not in the kaaba in pagan arabia?

@mazaje. why are you wasting your time with these pple? many of them read the bible/koran not the history of these books. as a matter of fact many pple do not know these books were compiled by humans they think the books descended from the sky directly from god.
