As much as I love the man especially for his spontaneous airlift of Nigerians from South Africa, nobody should condone his and others conpulsive laundering of our forex.

In the process, some Nigerians are now creating another statistics on our own watch; that most of those airlifted were Yoruba. Please, I beg una where does that come from? Or it is just for the record again.

You mean other Nigerians refused to leave South Africa.
BusinessAfricans Ruled Ghana & Western Nigeria As World Best With Little Cocoa Income by nobaga(op): 4:25pm On Nov 12, 2019
Africans ruled Ghana & Western Nigeria as world best with little cocoa income

There is this stereotypical noise about blacks’ inability to rule any city, state or country so efficiently that it could be showcased as the management skill and acuity of Africans. Those old enough with knowledge of world events as recently as the 60s and 70s cannot feign ignorance of places where every creed were welcomed, lived and got along with one another in Africa. Even after Africans have been mistreated and forced into labor to develop other continents.

Ironically, people who lynch humans and whose Police kill humans in the broad daylight with acquittal in their court of law in the 20th Century call others uncivilized, primitive and tribes! Sango have mercy! Since when has the ability to destroy the world three or more times over used to bully other countries (but fear small new nuclear powers) becomes sign of civilization when in fact it is an evidence of self-destruct and annihilation of the only planet we all live in?

Anyone that visited or read about Ghana and Western Nigeria could have told them it was beautifully and skillfully managed by highly civilized people, as one of the best regions in the world for human race. African poverty is a recent phenomenon as the face of abject poverty shift and move on world map from Asia in the 1960s gradually to Africa See at 11.51. We lost competent and dedicated leaders whose goal was to uplift humanity, not only Africans in Africa.

While Kwame Nkrumah was respected internationally as the foremost and awesome African and a freedom fighter, Awolowo was building a first class region internally. The friendship between Nkrumah and Awolowo was based on an egalitarian principle of communities where the poor had opportunity to health care, schools and decent housing. Taxes from Cocoa income, Cooperative farms and Industrial Estates with livable wages paid for these in Western Nigeria.

Though Nkrumah Cocoa Embargo failed, Cocoa cartel was visionary and well before the Arab oil cartel. Nkrumah spent wisely on the Freedom Fighters in East and South Africa. Western Nigeria benefited from Nkrumah’s encouragement. Azikiwe, Enahoro, Ikoku and others used Ghana as a place of refuge just as Ghanaians felt welcomed in Nigeria and remain citizens till today. We will always have our differences or rivalry from soccer, music to culture. No hater can stop us.

During the height of pride in the Western Region of Nigeria, Africans in Diaspora longed to come back home to a civilized way of life. Scholars, skillful men and women, children of freed slaves and their friends came home to build and prepare African constitution in preparation for colonial Independence. W. E B Du Bois and others followed Nkrumah to Ghana while Darnley Alexander that later became Chief Justice of Nigeria etc. accepted Awolowo invitation home.

The economy of Western Nigeria was not based on gold, diamonds or oil but mostly on cocoa income boasted by African ingenuity (Native Intelligence!). It was a place where all civilized humans, no matter where they came from were welcomed, respected and accommodated. When world leaders were looking at Nigeria as a regional power that was going to uplift Africa, it was based on the pace of development in the West that was going to propel other Regions.

Unfortunately, Western Nigeria stopped its pace of progress when their leaders decided to do for Nigeria what he and his team had done for the West. The reverse scenario came true when Awo was denied that opportunity and the Western Nigeria joined the rest of the Country in rat racing for oil income loot. Nonetheless, in the Western Nigeria, as recently as the 70s, Africans created a first class economy: industrial estates, schools, hospitals and many “Firsts” in Africa!

At the same time, the world must always be reminded that Western Nigeria is still the best place in today’s turbulent uncivilized world. The only place where religious tolerance is accommodated within the same families, between the Indigenous, Muslims, and Christians or whatever. These are the same Africans members of ancient Sudan, Ghana to Songhai, Zulu, Ashanti, Ife, Benin and Zimbabwe; whose civilization predate those of Northern Europeans.

Even the Greeks learners from Upper Egypt (Sudan) had disdainfully called and predicted these Northern Europeans as Barbarians, well before the slave trade that destroyed bouncing African civilization. It was not until 1600 that human demarcation into white, brown and black to divide and conquer poor whites, brown and black workers was implemented in Virginia. Mainly to cut down and prevent unified revolts of free slaves and workers.

Yet, Africans continue to survive against all odds in the most hostile environment anywhere in the world. Indeed, all the genetic and environmental research of Pseudo-scientists were to back up economic division into white, brown and black that took place after 1600 to justify arbitrary classification into so-called “races”. They know there was no such thing as nobody can identify a skin color as white or red. The fact that it has gained footing does not justify its arbitrariness.

The poverty we see today in Africa was not born in Africa, it was man made calamity. There is enough blame to go around but this is not the time for shaming. It is enough to let those that are ignorant of the accomplishments of black men and women, even in the recent past during their lifetime know that Africans anywhere has what it takes to excel. Cynics are deluding themselves to victimize others and gain a false sense of superiority complex they never had.

However, those who ignore or hardly know their own country with Pirates, Mafia and Gangs, even in the city they live in, basked in terrorism and financial acrobatic manipulations of the developing countries. Those politicizing and packaging areas of poverty into jerrymandering, minority or tribal votes; cannot be expected to blindly define Africans with their lack of world or foreign knowledge. They have never escaped their little enclave within the same environment.

Some think the world starts and ends in their own world or villages. This ignorance of world awareness is not peculiar to Europeans, Americans and Asians only. Even some privileged Africans deny they have ever been poor or live among the poorest people on earth. They may drive over a bridge within the same city without realizing that there are homeless people living under that bridge today. Then again, there is a difference between those that could afford three square meals a day in the villages and starving poor in the cities.

Image caption Senator Iwobi is an ardent supporter of The League's Matteo Salvini

Tony Iwobi beams as he stands next to a bust of Giuseppe Garibaldi in the Senate building in Rome. Like the 19th Century general, who helped found modern Italy, Mr Iwobi has been called a "history maker". He is Italy's first and only black senator.

Mr Iwobi confesses he felt "like a child on the first day at school" when he took his seat alongside the other 320 senators. He says he feels a duty, not only to his Italian constituents, but also to the continent where he was born and raised: "Anything I do today, I'm not doing https://www.nairaland.com/politicsfor myself, but for the nation I represent and for the African black race!"

He was elected last year as part of a surge in support for the right-wing Lega (League) party, which formed a year-long coalition with the populist Five Star Movement. Now out of power, the League is still Italy's most popular party with 33% in the latest polls. It is known for its tough stance on migration.

Critics say Mr Iwobi, the party's immigration spokesman, is being used as a cover for its "racist views". They point to an incident in 2013 when a Lega senator referred to Italy's first black minister, Cecile Kyenge, as "an orang-utan".

Mr Iwobi admits his colleague was "wrong" but rejects the allegations that he is being used by his party: "Let them go search my story," he says. "Nobody is using me. I think with my own brain."

No matter how our youths are spoon fed with history, they will rather hear it from their colonial master. But then it was not their masters that stopped teaching history, it was the order of Nigerian politicians.

They were educated in the skill of medicine, sciences, mathematics, philosophy and more. Only the privileged in their communities could be educated in Africa. There was no doubt or questions about the African civilization. Of course, some Africans had mixed complexions still reflected today throughout Africa. But to label them “white” or even “half-white” is a revision of facts and history to suit the narrow mindedness of 19th and 20th centuries Eurocentric racist-pseudo-scientists armoring African Arts and Sciences.

Actually, I think the civilized and modest ones are many and more in foreign countries. But they hide and hardly mix with Nigerians except the ones they know very well.

Those who used to bring their wives from home have learned and others have learned from them. Once some of the new wives or husbands brought from home started following wrong crowd, divorce or separation came calling.

pansophist:
Lol, I think Bahrain banned the entry of Nigerians some years back, though, seems like they have uplifted it, but it is really hard to get a visa with a Nigerian passport. And rightly so. If a country refuses to grow and compete in the new digitized world, it is only logical that others will limit their entry, especially when the ones that got their visa abused it with crimes and despicable ways.

I've been to at least 30 countries so far, mostly in Europe, Africa, and Eurasia, and the Nigerians I usually meet there are nothing to write home about. The civilized ones are scattered and far in between, but largely, its a sad tale. The only exceptions was NewZealand and Australia, thanks to their strict immigration policy.

Therefore, black insidious hate for one another is not limited to Africa but also raises its ugly heads in the Diaspora. There is nothing genetic about this as some mischievous scientists would like to claim. But the culture of poverty instituted from the top to oppress those at the bottom manifest self-hate regardless of color or country. Poor people find it more convenient to blame one another than to confront their oppressors dropping crumbs in barrels for them to fight over.
PoliticsAfrophobia Is A Mental Disease Within Black People Too by nobaga(op):
Afrophobia is a mental disease within black people too

South Africa President Cyril Ramaphosa got a chilly reception at the burial ceremony of the Great One, Robert Mugabe. He was booed for Afrophobia exhibited against fellow Africans. Ramaphosa has since sent emissaries to neighboring countries, Ghana and Nigeria. We are still waiting to see how many people have been held responsible at home. South Africa brought Afrophobia into limelight about the continual unruly aggression towards their fellow Africans labelled xenophobia by many but actually Afrophobia.

Many countries have their own form of Afrophobia including China without defined descendant from Africa. The same is true, though no longer towards: Maltese, Italians and Greeks where they have their own darker people. The Southern (swarthy) Italians in United States are no morediscriminated against as much since there are real Africans to take their place.

Africans are no more one another brothers’ keepers. The enemies of Africans right now are not too far from one another. Some Nigerians tried to point out that Afrophobia started when Ghana kicked Nigerians out in 1967 before Nigerians kicked them out in 1983. Of course, Nigerians are making distinctions between apples and oranges since Nigerians were never vicious, as South Africans. Tit for tat or lame excuse!

It does not ameliorate the disappointment and disenchantment of amicable people that have lived most of their lives in any place they have been acclimatized to; then all of a sudden are told to leave. Take the case of Africans that have lived together even before creation of countries where the same ethnic groups were divided into two or more countries.

These Africans attacks on one another and reprisals are unfortunate considering the crucial role played by Kwame Nkrumah of Ghana and Tafawa Balewa of Nigeria throughout Africa’s struggles with colonialism. Any Nigerian or Ghanaian hoping to reap rainchecks from the solidarity of Nigeria or Ghana from those past decades are not serious. These South African youths were not born then and the goodwill has become dim memories to those old enough.

They do not owe Nigerians or Ghanaians salvation of their destitute while they are struggling themselves. Indeed, no country can accept refugees from explosive population of Nigeria that cannot hold its leaders responsible for the amount of income being stolen out of that country.

The question is not what Nigeria or Ghana had done for each of these countries in the past but what Nigeria that cannot help itself, has done for them lately, apart from hiding loot there.

Think in terms of the relationships of estranged husbands and wives. While the husband or wife reminds the family what he or she had contributed. Just pray that you never need to or look forward to reward for your past favors. They would asked you: what have you done for us lately? Abi na yesterday we go chop today?

Nigeria is a good case in point. There is no reason whatsoever for that country that was blessed with fadaka, wara and honey to be in a state of stupor where many in a population of about 200 million should be seeking greener pastures in countries of about 30 million. This has to be checked otherwise Nigeria would overwhelm them with its explosive population. Who wants to lie down with an elephant?

The problem has always existed in South Africa between Black, Colored and Whites privileges. Generally, we can say black South Africans pick on those Africans that look more like them for the worst treatment in their major cities. They sought out not only Nigerians but Zimbabweans and other Africans in close proximity from neighboring countries. They are frustrated, no doubt, that they have not gained from the privileges of post-Apartheid. If they could not, how could foreigners and other Africans be doing better than them at home?

South Africa display of violence has always been there. So alarming, even against their women. Ramaphosa had apologized for his language before the Marikana massacre when police killed 34 striking mine workers on the 16th of August 2012, about his failure to insist on negotiations that led to the deaths. Violence against fellow Africans may have overshadowed the general violence that boils down to black on black crimes. Whites and other coloreds closer in complexion or Asians are generally spared the brunt of this violence, no matter where they are.

So, it could not be just xenophobia against foreigners but black on black crimes of self-hatred.

The reasons some claim, is the favorability of white to black skin. Self-hate are not far-fetched in world history, complicated by the enslavement and dehumanization of Africans into the new world. Even among fair white skin, there is a tendency to even look fairer. Cosmetic industries have capitalized on whiter complexion. The trend to whiter skin by African Americans and West Indians shows in their old preference for fairer, nicer hair and narrow noses: The Jacksons Plan.

While it is true that there are many criminals complains of financial and drug crimes against Nigerians, these criminals are few compared to professionals and businessmen living and fulfilling their duties honestly. But it does not make a difference, notoriety of some few alwayscloud majority of conscientious Nigerians and other African blacks worldwide. It has gotten to the point where Nigerian and other African governments are flying folks back from South Africa.

Even if all foreigners leave, there is another danger as lack of opportunities bite harder. Since they come after other Africans now, foreigners and South Africans from neighboring cities are not safe either because at some point, ethnic groups around cities will be demanding local jobs and privileges before others. Indeed, we have seen this in African countries when services and infrastructure are overwhelmed by neighboring fellowmen. Ask Nigerians after Ghana Must Go!

The same self-hatred is true between Africans and African Americans. While every ethnic group Italians or Irish in USA welcomed their own. Fear of loss of privileges and advantages set-aside for African Americans have become a point of contention. Africans and Nigerians in particular are known to be the most successful and educated ethnic group in the United States. African Americans raise suspicion that because they have been replaced by Africans, they lag behind.

However, most African students do not depend on Ivy League colleges set-aside for African Americans. Africans and West Indians make up disproportionately more of the total black professional and college graduating classes at all American universities, including Howard University, the Premier Black College. It will be illogical then to claim that Black colleges discriminate against their own to accept African students on set-aside instead of merit.

There is this false belief that she would be fresh and tight to their size. Until they find out other men think the same and got a piece of her too. Ugly women know they are and make up for it by killing those they like with kindness.

See Me See Wahala: Cannot Go Hostipals Or Enjoy Loot Abroad Again O

I am tired of these Africans. So, I called my wife and children abroad to warn them to be careful. Other calls were made to my girlfriends and some of my buddies abroad. Secret instructions were given to make sure my accounts are safe in the usual places. There are angry Africans abroad beating up African looters, ransacking their humongous houses and destroying beautiful exotic cars because they mistakenly think we stole money to buy what we worked so hard for.

It looks like the party is over. A few years ago, Africans from Congo in France, mistook me for their President and attacked me viciously. Then, there was this rude guy called Sowore that insulted me because some of my folks came late to the meeting in New York. We only adhere to African time nah. The last straw, was these IPOB attacking me recently. Can you imagine, a decent guy like me looking like a million box, dodging blows to “pick race” abroad? Chei!

O.k. There was this house on liquidation (short) sale I bought on this popular street, very cheap because it was almost falling down. This was the little profit I made from selling Ofada rice with my brother, Saraki. It took me several months of what they call sweat equity working on the house with my friends before the house came to life. But some people suspected it was from the loot I made in Nigeria. Allah, walay talayi, God dey see me. I suffered to rebuild that house.

What is the name of the street in London? None of your damn business but certainly not Ilchester Place in the heart of Holland Park. You really want me to tell you so that those thugs can go and waylay me, you sonabashiwereh! Abi you chop craze inside your garri and gbegiri wey Mama PutE fed you. Here I am trying to tell you that I no longer have a piece of mind. My wife, children and my girlfriends are being monitored by spies because of mistaken identity.

Wait O, so you funded girlfriends too? Those are just ordinary friends that work hard for their money. Whenever I am in London or New York, they become friendly out of the generosity of their big boobs. The problem these days is that they do not want to be seen with me anywhere but corner corner, so those thugs may not attack them. Other friends have started ignoring me like a plaque but I never trusted them in the first place. Actually, they may the thugs’ informers.

Are you saying you have houses in New York too? Oh, I bought those ones a long time ago as a student with part-time jobs when I was on military training. Anybody could buy a house then, not Potomac MD, with nothing down as advertised by those house-flipper con men. All I had to do is pay taxes and help those girls out since many of them are poor without the means to pay their ways. They are delicious, as French President said to the wife of Australian Prime Minister!

You are a Nigerian, a politician and militrician and never looted, abi? Look, I want to live the rest of my life in peace, they can take back their loot. I do not care for money anymore, this is just too much trouble. Can you imagine an African and a Nigerian for that matter, that has money he cannot spend abroad because some thugs are waiting to beat him up or at least harass him? It is worse than hell, my broda.

If you think that is hell, what about the people that are dying every day because the money they could have used for food, good schools, hospital and roads are being diverted by looters like you? Oh, do not get me wrong. I really pity those poor people. It is the reason, I and my government built so many hospitals and schools. But the same people divert the funds meant for their maintenance and the salary for workers. These poor people prefer imported food.

Do you go to those hospitals for treatment or send your children to those schools? Look my friend, do not get personal. I can afford it, that is why I do it. Really, I do not mind going to hospitals in Africa but the people are too nosy. They want to know my personal information. The other time, General Danjuma went to hospital for upstairs disease. He had to fly out to prevent his health information going public. Unfortunately, they do not treat African mental disease abroad. So, they sent him back home to Babalawo! Shey you get?

Are you aware that University of Nigeria, Nssuka; Ahmadu Bello Teaching Hospital, Ibadan and Lagos Teaching hospital have first class accommodation to treat any disease and if the specialist is not in Africa, they would fly him in? You see, now your craze nor be small. You want a whole President to go and reveal his blokos to the whole world in Nigeria! Sometimes, some people do not make sense at all at all.

Which President are you talking about, Jubril? Jubril ke, no nah Momodu! I thought I was talking to sensible person about how to hide abroad without being attacked by IPOB, Arewa, OPC and those Niger Delta militants abroad. If there is no way I can spend my money, there is no reason to take my loot abroad. After all, even Ibori and Alamsco found out that running out of Nigeria was a mistake and a waste of time. You can loot all you want and enjoy anywhere in Africa.

You know that song: apeteshi nor good O? Look I am talking about loot, you are talking kunu as if a screw is missing from your head. I am not Amechi that said they stole because nobody would stone them. Lately, he is singing a different tune. He said if anybody attacked him abroad, he would defend himself. So, he is not giving up his loot.

But you are giving up your loot? Hmm, I remember that song too: Apeteshi too good O! So, my people say: if you put sugar in the mouth of a baby, he never spit it out. Nobody gives up his loot or privilege willingly. Hell No!

Poverty Armed Robbers Immortality Fueled by Nouveau Riche

When politicians failed you, professors failed you, bosses failed you, banks failed you, relatives failed you, pastors and imams failed you: who is going to deliver us from the devil? It boils down to You and Your Chi. That is Me, Myself and I. Until we are tested, you never realize the Supreme Being within you. This is why Africans survive in the most hostile environment outside home against all odds. Mumu at home Tiger outside!

What encourages perseverance, hard work and long-term investment in the community we live in, are slipping away. In spite of the death sentence on kidnappers in some states, greed has captured many men and women including our pastors and imams. They are being kidnapped for ostentatious display of luxuries or may have joined them; by kidnapping themselves and asking church members for ransom.

Women are coming out claiming they were turned into sex slave by men of God. So our pastors and imams are also tempted by nice moderate, not too big ikebe. We should not be surprised that Poverty, Armed Robbers, Kidnappers and Immorality in our churches and mosque are increasing when money-miss-road expose themselves on social media thanking God for exotic cars, houses, designer items and personal aircrafts.

Despite obvious evidence that fast money has short lifespan, lotteries come and go fast while drugs money only compounds your problems and makes many of us bankrupt morally. Forget FBI or EFCC cashistic first, regret it later. The new generation and even their poor parents have ways of celebrating vanities and tastes that have liquidated our moral fiber. You do not ask or care how our kids and youth make their money anymore.

The silent majority gave up and the rest of us cherish the selfish economic gains that come our ways. We blame everything on our leaders while we encourage and celebrate obscene diversion and accumulation of commonwealth for personal aggrandizement in and outside the country. People sell patriotic values to foreigners as long as they get a cut. Who else would celebrate the demise of a country at the expense of selfish gains?

Honestly, the situation has not changed today compared to the days our fathers sold gold in exchange for mirrors. We are still being used as experimental guinea pigs. Europeans and Americans are exposing the Chinese and the Russians for taking advantage of Africans. The same way they did until Asians beat them with lower rates.

The fact is, these parasitic relationship Africa has with all of them is not sustainable. A good case in point is Ajaokuta Steel that has not been productive in 40 years. Russians agreed to build it after others refused because they did not want competition creating steel glut in the world market. So, Russians agreed to build but either way, we lost!

Foreigners are still using us against one another by using our safety, security while they cart trillion dollars away in odious profit disguised as investment that could not be made anywhere else. We have not learned from Sierra Leone where diamond became our nightmare in war, Nigeria where oil income turned into a curse and now Central African Republic where Russia is training us against one another in preparing for another war.

It is human to celebrate success and show appreciation by giving back or embarking on worthwhile humanitarian community services. But it usually happens with the profit made from creative entrepreneurships, success of a business deal that brings value to the community like jobs and technology. Success has never been a way to spite, entice underage girls or incite the poor to break their necks trying for amorphous enterprises.

We all agree that corruption from the office messengers to the highest level of government is a cancer that must be challenged and contained to the barest minimum; unless he is our kin. There used to be a time when these few bad eggs were disowned and could not get a lady to marry. No more. They are now celebrated. Indeed, they have created a class of their own and replaced those that earned their wealth the old fashioned way, by hard grueling perseverance.

Definitely, wealth is a powerful incentive in any system or community and there are different philosophical ideologies of how to get there. Each of these has regulations and laws in place for checks and balances; otherwise every gain goes up in flames. After about 60 years of Independence in African countries, we know what works and policies that have made our economy worse as a country and as a continent.

We cannot keep on preaching the same policy by claiming it was not implemented properly when it took us backwards each time. Structural Adjustment was a failure and Devaluations in exchange for printed papers, not on Gold Standard or resources is a farce used to capture preferred cheap raw materials, products and services in Africa.

Yet, after appealing to reason and logic over and over again that Africans must go cold turkey and wean themselves out of imported vanities that are basically another form of drugs without long-term values, we continue on these suicide mission. This may be understandable if there are no countries we can trade with, since African countries trade with other continents far more than they do within Africa.

If that is not colonial mentality, we must wonder what else that could be. We have lost great men and women preaching against this economic dependency for too long. Even worse, we internalize and repeat derogatory terms (as shithole countries) chagrin used against us for being so dependent and so easily susceptible to their manipulations.

We were fooled into believing that once we open African countries to Europe, America and Asia, foreign investment would flow in and make us rich. In return for free market, some of us had the opportunity to travel overseas to collect used and discarded clothes, shoes and appliances given by charities only to sell them at home. This was our reward for open market so that anyone could import to exhaust our forex by taking money out.

Seriously folks, how do the poor people they are using compared to those taking the lion share of our forex in US dollars and Euro? Yet, if they don’t get their way, our jobs were threatened and if imported food are not allowed, they scare us with starvation in our fertile arable land. The same business men that took loans from banks without paying back bankrupting financial institutions while working class lose all their savings.

One has to wonder how African countries that do not have the financial manipulation, power and clout like the United States can survive when 50 to 90% of their income is used to service loans. The Chinese are taking over the infrastructure they built in East African countries since a country like Zambia could not pay back what they know Zambia could not afford before giving them the loan in the first place.

How else do we explain the logic and economic ideology of those that claimed Congo was better off after Lumumba; that Ghana was better off after Nkrumah or Libya was better off after Gadhafi based on their phantom idea of “freedom”?

It is obvious that the only way Ragu bullies would back down is to confront them head on. They know the North Central, South East and South West are ready to fight to defend their land. But never expected overwhelming unity in the West.

So they convey a meeting of their cabals and oligarchs. They know that in order to defeat any section, they need soldiers since Fulani have never fought alone. They are now backing off for another day.

Why blame just Buhari and spare Tinubu his enabler that just revealed himself at the leader of Afenifere house on condolence visit.

It is one thing to support Northern party that others from the South have supported even before Independence, but quite another to be powerless when common people and leaders or their children are being slaughter in the West, Southsouth and Southeast.

HOW HAVE WE FALLEN - FROM GRACE TO GREED TO WAR

There will be another war! This time the Hausa farmers will be liberated from the clenched fists of the minority Fulani Ragu “developers” and they will be driven back by all provoked Nigerians to where Dan Fodio came from. They have been put in their place in Niger, Chad and Ghana. But Fulani have an advantage in Nigeria since the Hausa majority have been subjugated through religion. Without indoctrination of Hausa by religion, the Fulani minority are powerless. Since ancient Mali, Mande, Dogon have subdued Fulani pastoral herdsmen infiltrating into farms.

Fulani Ragu Government developers unlike other countries in desertification, is using religion as ethnicity to capture more land by share greed. Greed is the motive of any group furrowing into others’ land. We must face the issue of greed behind ethnic clashes in African countries. It has more to do with greed by land grabbers to power for political dominance. So, they battle within countries while the leaders and their cronies feed on the spoil of war as most of us get poorer.

Ragu “developers” never learn from the destruction of the past, this time they are back again threatening and provoking the whole Country with herdsmen. We all know these herdsmen could not afford to buy AK-41 guns to direct their cows. They do not even own the cows, the wealthy Hausa/Fulani wannabe own the cows and supplied them with guns and ammunition. They have more land but rear cows all over the Country destroying farmlands and kidnapping.

Powerful leaders behind these mayhems against Middle Belt and Southerners are sponsored by Hausa/Fulani Ruga “developers”. Each time the Fulani lose their head by monopolizing power in order to gain the political keys to the treasury, they create Boko Haram or Maitatmasine. They swear to overwhelm the South as if they have monopoly to arms and ammunition readily available to willing buyers at the world market. Dogon taught pastoral Fulani lessons in Mali.

Defend yourself is a signal meaning a word is enough for the wise. The Middle Belt and the South must be ready for a war by RUGA developers to liberate our fellow Hausa Nigerians from the subjugation of the Fulani/Hausa half breed leaders. You cannot be Hausa/Fulani. You are either Fulani or Hausa, the choice is yours but the Northern land belong to Hausa and the minorities therein, not Fulani.

Muhamadu Buhari, the current President has more Hausa blood in him than Fulani but would die for Fulani dynasty over his Hausa heritage. The religious opium is so powerful it affects the Hausa in the North as well as the Christian converts in the South. When an Hausa man look at his fellow Hausa or a Christian and swear they are Kaferi that deserve death, you know foreign religious opium is at work.

Before Boko Haram attempted murder of Buhari in Kaduna, he had defended them, Ciroma openly said they would make Nigeria ungovernable and Maitatsine went wild. None were called to order or invited by DSS until they turned against Northerners. Buhari, no prayers can solve this. All Nigerians are not Hausa conquered by Fulani with prayers. You are waiting for war!

Therefore, these same Hausa/Fulani that never learned from Maitatsine and Boko Haram are at it again! They are going to end up destroying themselves too as they did in the past. However, this new menacing herdsmen terrorizing the whole Country would lose with their leaders’ head. They once went after Buhari in Kaduna. It will not be limited to mayhem against Southerners alone. There are alarms throughout the South that their land is at stake and to get ready.

Poverty is highly concentrated within the Hausa talikawa used by elite Fulani to grab others land for “development” into Ruga. According to Oxfam Nigeria, five of Nigeria’s richest men have a combined wealth of US$29.9 billion – more than the country’s entire national budget for 2017. However, about 60 percent of its citizens live on less than US$1.25 a day, the threshold for absolute poverty. Ironically, poverty population is growing especially where Fulani rule.

Biafra went to war unprepared daring majority of fellow Nigerians. Fulani are provoking war to point of no return, are making the same mistake. But they are not in any position to defeat the rest of Nigeria. They lack the unity Nigeria had against Biafra. If Nigerian Army cannot defeat Boko Haram and Niger Delta rebels outright, Fulani/Hausa will be foolish to take on the rest of
Nigerians. You have to be power drunk to provoke and unite the rest of Nigerians against you.

RUGA is not their goal, otherwise create Rural Grazing Areas for each State to be run for and by their indigenes. Their ambition is to conquer the whole of Nigeria for the Fulani in every African country. They already have most of the land in Nigeria. If they are really serious about ranch, Sambisa Forest is there for them to develop. Why dangle oil income for Ruga development in the South, when they could invest the same oil income against desertification into grassland?

If Nigeria could import grass from Niger Republic, they can grow grass for their ranches right there in the North. Each time Fulani minorities are in trouble in Nigeria, they rely on their kinsmen from other countries. Even Buhari, the Nigerian President made the same claim about Fulani outside the Country entering to destroy farmland as if they were not punished for that in Mali. It used to be the Libyan rebels dislocating Nigeria at one point, now it is foreign Fulani!

It is about time Hausa wake up and realize the slumber religion has put them and their land through over the years. The South must help them reclaim their Dynasty from the illegitimate one drop Fulani/Hausa leaders. They must realize they are not the children of their fathers if they claim more Fulani blood than Hausa blood. If you want to be free of Fulani, free the Hausa.

Hausa are not the problems in Nigeria, it is Fulani indoctrination that bestow conquered Hausa the Fulani status if they want to climb up to be the elitist ladders. So, for every Hausa that wants to prosper, they must claim or assume Fulani blood in them since they lost their Dynasty to Usman Dan Fodio. In order to be a successful leader as a Muslim, in the military or politics; Fulani relationship is a must. Claim fake, none, one or two drops of Fulani blood.

The fact that both Miyetti Allah (sey na only Allah?) Cattle Breeders and Gharba Shehu had the audacity to contradict Osinbajo the Vice President is enough to expose Fulani chicanery. Most countries have ethnic problems from the old Czechoslovakia to Yugoslavia. So were the Saxon, Irish, Welsh and Scott. The problems in Nigeria stem from individual greed not ethnicity as widely believed. After all, the smallest Fulani ethnic group that overthrew the Hausa Dynasty leaves most of the North in poverty worse than the South.

The same religious drug that has been used to dispossess Hausa in the North has worked by using Christianity to create poverty in the South. While the Fulani raped and corner the riches, they have included Southern Christian leaders in the looting of their wretched country. So, when it comes to the distribution of oil wealth, the Hausa and Fulani leaders dominate while their Southern leaders aid and abet them.
Pity Nigeria, the giant of Africa, the richest country in Africa with potential regional might that supported many other black countries from Africa to Caribbean has fallen! A country that is now despised by those it lent a helping hand. This has nothing to do with outsiders but empty pride, ostentatious haughtiness display of avarice and greed by a few that infected a whole population plugging majority into capital poverty of the world.

In our weakest moments, we believe in most risk or promise that can lift us up and empower us. This is why the most educated ones in face of cancer go for fake or miraculous cure.

Religions have filled that void and opportunistic pastors, imam and advocates of other religions have used it to disenfranche us in Africa.

I think it depends on how you define religion. (I spoke about this earlier here)

Are you suggesting that a victim-oriented worldview is always linked to adherence to a certain faith?

The salvation Africans need is trade trade and trade with other African countries on our terms. No amount of trade with foreign or local exploiters can liberate us no matter how many times we pray in a day.

God does not listen to people that cannot help, God only helps those that help themselves.

One has to respect other people’s beliefs and religion, especially if it is their only source of hope. Religion gives hope from hopelessness. It is exactly the reason opportunists use it to capture their audience, control and command their minds for tithes, sex and subjugation. Religion was supposed to civilize man since most of us need the fear of God. But it is also used to capture locals, justify slavery, transformation and acceptance of foreign cultures promising a bigger reward in heaven for those that convert

So Few Riches So Many Poor So Many Religious Hopes

Judeo-Christian, Hindu and Muslim religions created their wealth from the poor by aiding and abetting oppression. No continent still suffers under this subjugation of man more than Africans wherever they are. Relationship between slave/servants and masters has been interpreted into legal and other documents as between employees and employers. The laws of Advantageous Relationship and Fair Dealings try to ameliorate this.

Free and fair trade exclusion of the richest Continent was deliberately executed. More Africans are now realizing the conjoined twin relationship of Economics and Religion. The slavery mentality of Mosaic Laws originated from historical enslavement of the Jews in Egypt to the actual forceful removal of Africans for slavery into Europe and America that still prevail as vestiges of economic reality discouraging Africans from trading within.

The poorer the people or countries are, the more they strongly believe that their destiny, emotional well-being and superstitious beliefs are tied to religion. Therefore we have more folks in the developing or poor countries that believe in religions than in developed countries. Gallup poll survey found that countries with below average incomes are 95% believers while those with above average incomes are 47% believers in religions.

Yet, the fastest growing Christian and Muslim faiths are in the developing countries but their leaderships still exist outside. A study by Dr. Tom Rees, published in the Journal of Religion and Society, suggests that in places without strong social safety nets to provide people with opportunities for upward mobility, people are more likely to rely on religion for comfort: thehumanist.com/news/national/why-are-the-poor-more-religious

This was explained once as: some relief or a little relief from immediate pain is better than none. The problem is you come back to where you started from. Usually religious relief is no different from being high on drugs until the effect wears away. If the doctor performed a cure while the drug is on, fine! Otherwise you have to be constantly on opium of religions.

But it is also used to capture locals, justify slavery, transformation and acceptance of foreign cultures promising a bigger reward in heaven for those that convert.

It is often said that even billionaire Pastors find quotes in the Bible to justify their opulence while their congregations get poorer. The Bible, Koran, Torah and other holy books have being quoted to justify war, slavery, three fifths of a man and to deny women’s right to vote. As long a man or woman has the oratory or charisma to attract followers, he can gather enough people to believe whatever he preaches.

The explorers, scholars and wanderers came to Africa sponsored by companies, investors and rich families. Their mission was to enrich the shareholders, themselves and their countries. It was not different from the California gold rush or the “discovery” of America. If the American Indians have to do it all over, they would not have rescued Columbus wandering and lost at sea.

China would still be a poor country but for the fact they broke religious yoke that kept poor folks down. It took Protestants time to break out from the grip of the Catholic Church after risking everything including some lives. The same Protestants went on to justify conversion and indoctrinations to suppress African cultures, the same way the Muslims did.

Most studies and historical records demonstrated that all the countries that embrace religion fervently today have the poorest people on earth. While old societies used religions of God to appeal to masters and slave owners to treat their slaves, bonded serfs and workers humanely, modern societies have used the power of governments to regulate business and human behavior as ethics.

Colossians 3:22-4:1. In this passage, the Apostle Paul argues that the following ethical obligations characterize a God-honoring employee: obedience to your employer in a consistent, sincere and wholehearted manner because in effect your real “boss” is the Lord Christ, a unique construction found only here in the New Testament. Further, this ethical obligation to your employer is eternally significant because God will reward you for obeying it (v. 24). Employers, likewise, are to pay their employees in a just and equitable manner, because they too have a “Master”—the Lord Christ (4:1). http://graceuniversity.edu/iip/wp-content/

It is seen in the Caste systems practiced in Asia as division of labor from the highest clergies to the lowest cleaners in the community determined their destiny. This is within a society, country and Continent. Though it is not as pronounced in Western societies, the division of labor between racial, ethnic, and ghettoized areas determined their static or upward mobility.

The capitalist system itself is a product of Judeo-Christian belief that can be practiced humanly as in Western countries or exploitatively in African countries divided into little countries to dilute their bargaining powers. Imagine the United States or China against Cameroon or Somali on the same negotiating table.

Anything closer to white skin sells because it is branded as beautiful after many years of - I'm Black and Proud to Afro haircut and cornrow. We must wonder if we are moving forward or backwards. The study many years ago of black children preferring white dolls to black dolls has caught up with the adults. It all boils down to branding from religious immersion to economic products and services. Did we realize one can lead to the other?

Not only did religion rebrand and pauperized our rich culture, they made our parents guidance of their cultures and names as they sit back and watch. They baptized us and give us their Christian or Muslim names. We even went further and Anglophile our names from Tokunbo to Toks, Chukwuma to Chuck and outright Arabic names. Today, African American/European children demand their original names back!

There is a compounding factor though. High income Arab and a few Asian countries that are ruled by theocracy or clergies, adhere to the religious beliefs of their dictators. Most are conservative governments that are not very different from conservatives in some Western world taken over by the extreme right wing governments. They all believe in the “good” old days that were nothing but misery for women and minorities.

The latest meeting of African Union is trying to further trade relations within but Nigeria is still weighing the disadvantages of foreign goods influx smuggled through the border as African made. Even then, unions are formed as Asian Pacific and European Union for trading and economic advantages excluding Africans. We now realize that most of African trade is outside the Continent not within. This is what African Union is trying to correct.

Cowards eh? So the child that steal from his home but decent outside is a coward. The one that steal outside and brings loot home is brave.

You need to find out the difference between depraved, desperate cold blooded killers roaming others' States and countries to the meaning of being brave and gallant.

Between the two you can differentiate wild animals that cannot even relate to their next door neighbors calling places they hound a ZOO.

I wish it is that simple.

You cannot condemn people you hate so much and every other group use derogatory names for but when you are hungry, you head to their region to beg, steal and kill for money.
