Honestly I don't know the magic the new CBN governor wants to perform to rescue the falling naira value. As long as the country is not exporting enough to generate forex, the naira will continue to lose value. The previous cosmetic approach adopted by Emefiele by defending the naira and allowing two forex markets(official and parallel) to operate side by side as we were made to know is not sustainable in the long run. We also understand that subsidy payment is also not sustainable as it will cripple the economy sooner or later. As Economists, what approach do you think can be used in the interim to make naira gain it's value back without trying to defend it or reversing the unification of forex market.

Like seriously, it's somehow complicated. But nevertheless, the interim can still mak a policy that will help in restrenghten the Naira. And FG should also focus on our refinaries to eradicate fuel importation. If they really determine to revamp the sinking economy
