I am really pissed right now



It has been brought to my notice that my clickbank works I upload here for FREE, are being sold for ridiculous prices even as high as 35000 on facebook and other platforms…



I want to ask, why will someone take their time to steal my works that I paid thousands of dollars for, works that I stayed awake for many nights after testing and testing to arrive at a result for the betterment of people, just to sell them to preyed and gullible humans just to make money…?




And we Nigerians, despite the fact the economy is dealing with us, you need to investigate before you spend your money on anything., especially when it comes to making money online stuffs...one of the ways to verify his or her authenticity is giving out valuable freebies…if they claim to make all the money in the world, why can’t little information that will be beneficial to you be let out from their stable?

Let’s say you launch your mozilla firefox or google chrome browser, and decide to visit aliexpress or any other ecommerce platform……you decide to check up say the latest android phone and laptop in the market, you go further to other electronics like lg oled tv and the latest scanfrost refrigerator…




You get the cost of the above items and listings, you close your browser and shut your pc down…
In two hours time, you launch the same browser you used in checking the above items..
…you decide to log into your facebook account,
…..all of a sudden, you see a picture slide facebook ad of all the products you viewed on aliexpress, the phones, laptops, refrigerator and tv….







Have you ever asked why it happens?




I’ll tell you……




You see there are two things responsible for this…cookies and pixels…


Cookies are by default, built into every browser you can think of on the internet………..
They store traces of your footprint on the internet and cookies are what actually helps websites and other web apps to determine your ip location…





Pixels on the other hands are lines of code, injected on a website by its owner……….
…they work like cookies, but are different…

The pixels exist to collect your information on that site whenever you visit that site…
That is why you get to see those facebook ads containing what you viewed on those sites…



Here is how the pixels work….




You are currently logged in on facebook and you visit……





They are able to gain your facebook cookies when you visit their site..


Now when they run new ads, the pixel already gives the website owner the specific traffic that visits his website….so if 600 facebookers visit his site, the 600 facebookers will see that ad, pushing them to buy or take action on that ad…




Now here is why the pixel, ruins your affiliate ad campaign..




Let’s name an affiliate marketer peter and the owner of the product or vendor will be called paul….







Imagine a scenario, were peter who has just $150 on him decides to run facebook ads for paul’s products…






Peter goes ahead to run the facbook ad campaign…and sends say 10,000 persons, in form of traffic through his affiliate link to paul’s sales page…





With a commission of $30, 900 out of that 10,000 buy the product and peter goes home with $27,000….





The remaining 9100 persons that didn’t buy, because, paul has the pixel codes on his site, he would be able to keep being in contact with them, either via ads or email…..




At this juncture, paul will make more off peter’s sweat………





Get it?



Another scenario is this…….






You want to promote face fat burner product, which of course is in the weightloss niche..



Like peter, you decide to run facebook ads…
You drive your 10,000 traffic to the sales page..
….2000 buy and you are paid $50 commission…you go home and rejoice because you have made$ 10,000…great…(not in one day)




Few months later…..you come in contact with another product in the weight loss niche you want to promote…..


Let’s say the product is fat tummy trimming program for mum’s who just gave birth….




You and i know that, normally you’d run an ad……






But what if you had the power to redirect this product to those persons you promoted the face fat burner to?






I mean you’d be missing out on a lot of money, if you try to find a new audience…







Chances are more than 50% of the traffic you promoted the fat face burner program to a women and the other chances are that the buyers, have more women than men…..











So the only way to redirect your new product to the new audience…will be cheaper
And you’d make more…without breaking a sweat…

Let’s face it, facebook is the world’s largest social media platform....which should mean enough market for your affiliate product, right? wrong!!




I’ll tell you how if you read this till the end, then i bet you, you’ll think twice about facebook ads before using it to promote your affiliate products.




Don’t get me wrong, i am not saying there are people it hasn’t worked for, like hell it does work for a lot of people…but i am on a voyage of helping folks who have nothing in their pockets…..




You may have bought courses, from gurus local and international, you must have found free courses or giveaways that helped you in a way…but ask yourself….does facebook ads really oil my engine?




In the first and previous post on why you shouldn’t promote your affiliate product with facebook ads, i discussed about the fact that facebook ads is actually an intrusion of people’s privacy, especially after what happened this year with facebook’s data breach…….

So you laid your hands on courses and all that… you have tried all you learnt on the facebook ad courses but nothing seems to be working…..
why?






First, you are spending so much money running facebook ads and facebook is always ready to take your money whether or not you convert your traffic…
......say you have a product to promote…you decide to facebook-ad the product.. if the product is new and alien to the market, chances are you will burn your hands and pockets while promoting that product. Even if you have a limited number of that product, chances of selling are slim…..but trust facebook to collect your money with open arms.






Second, most of the tools available for facebook ads, give wrong or mismatching information. in most cases the tools might not even have the information you need.. i remember when i had to promote an arthritis solution, to a country in europe…i targeted women and men above age 40, but my ad had to halt because, the keywords for my product were absent in the audience insights tool…. i was seeing an info i didn’t even need…
most times, no matter what happens, you may not get your ad in front of all the audience you targeted……..





Third, your ad can still appear in front of the wrong audience… you could decide to promote a product that helps mothers who just gave birth, to flatten their tummy. your age limit might be 21-35 and strictly for women…but at the end of the day you end up seeing that your ad was viewed by males or women above or below your selected age during the ad set compilation…





Fourth, the technicality of the ad tools, can pose an understanding issue for some people…
some people find it difficult to understand the tools needed for running facebook ads..you need to understand most of the tools for you to run effective ads.. and trust me facebook does a good thing at changing most, or some of the tools every now and then.. the only thing i enjoy in facebook ads, is the use of custom and look alike audience…..





Fifth, running facebook ads for mega countries like usa, uk, france, switzerland, canada etc, costs more than 2x the cost of running facebook ads for your home country.. to get the same amount of audience your ad will get in your home country when you run an ad for advanced nations, you will have to spend big and break the bank….

You have been told by gurus that the best way to promote your affiliate products, is facebook ads, well they were wrong.…


Hear ye this day, i am not saying facebook ads wouldn’t get you results or doesn’t work for them.

I’m just saying a lot has changed and it is better to move with the trend than to seat at home and wait for magic to happen.



Before I go further, i’d like to point out something here; you might have learnt some stuffs from different teachers, affiliate marketers and internet marketers, (free and or paid) great that doesn’t mean you should discard what you have learnt, improve on it by research and expanding your knowledge base.




Stay with me and you’ll see why you shouldn’t burn your pockets when promoting affiliate products via facebook ads….. This is no gimmick but the pure truth:





This tutorial will be broken down into 3 parts for easy consumption:
1. Your target market or audience detests facebook ads.
2. You are making money for facebook even when you fail because chances are you’ll fail.
3. You are making money for the vendor/product owner and he will have your target market in his pocket.




Your Target Market Detests Facebook Ads.

When promoting any affiliate product, you should understand your target market wouldn’t be amongst the clickbank blacklisted countries, but a clickbank whitelisted country.


Now here’s the thing, citizens in developed countries detest the word ads, so you got to be careful. Sometime this year, mark zuckerberg was summoned because of the breach in personal information on facebook.


Ever since then, facebook ads statistics dropped drastically in USA.
Then the next question you’d ask is what is the best way for you to promote your products?



Email



In the USA, more than 60% of internet users, go through their emails because, it doesn’t encroach on their privacy. They feel ads are there to simply sell them out to you. So an email is like you are talking to them personally.
So the best way to promote your affiliate product is via email, that is if you really want to make sales…..

The number one question I get in my mailbox after creating clickbank accounts for people or when they contact me for a clickbank related issue, is what type of products should I promote on clickbank that will earn me good pay? Well pay attention because I am about to release something that will earn you good pay on clickbank..




What I am about to release to you now is something I paid $400 for just to learn. Mind you I didn’t gain all my clickbank knowledge from one source, neither did I gain them for free, as well I didn’t seat down and didn't take action




Before we proceed I want to ask, do you prefer an income stream were you’ll be earning steady income while PLAYING with your kids or relaxing with loved ones after having set everything in place or do you prefer an income stream were you will have to work your ass out and still gain nothing.? Of course you’ll choose the easy way out I mean who likes stress?




If you are smart, I just dropped a clue…but I’ll come out in black and white.



First, go for products that have recurring commissions. Recurring commissions products are products that earn you commissions even when you have stopped promoting them. In this category, the owner of the product or Vendor as it is called, might decide to add this mostly if the product is new, of high ticket (expensive), or it could be owned by a company that intends to make its products known mostly to knock out opposition companies. So imagine if a product here costs $60 and the commission is say $10 per successful sale, then you successfully sell 100 of the product, that’s 60x100=$6000, even if you stop promoting the product, because you’ve had a history of promoting that product, you might be gaining half of the commission rate multiplied by your previous sales for a month. How? Half of $10 is $5 multiplied by 100 sold products, you will be gaining $500 just because you successfully converted your sales. These recurring commissions exist in a few and selected products on clickbank and they are mostly found in health and tech niches.




Second, look out for products that have high Commission rates of 50% and above…they are scarce, like really scarce, but they can be found if you have an eagle eye. Products with this feature are found in business and health niches…..Reason for choosing this category is this, some of the products in this category equally have the recurring commissions feature.






Third, it is much preferable to go for high ticket products (expensive products) than low ticket products inexpensive products (inexpensive or cheap products). for instance, if you promote a product a high ticket product that cost $600 and the commission rate is 40%: 600x40=24000/100=$240 commission per sale and you are able to successfully sell say just 30 pieces of the product: 240x30=$7200 in just 30 sales, you will be making a commission of $7200.





Let us consider the low ticket product that sells for $80 and the commission rate is 50% which is $40. Having made a decision to give back to Nairaland in the best way that I can, I take my time to dig out, experiment and confirm anything before letting the house aware.


So today I am going to be handling Clickbank accounts, but first I want to point out something..



Sometime 2years ago I met a fellow who was dead broke, he had issues and needed quick money.
