You guys using club side to assess and judge Nwakali, someone posted the full 94 squad and their clubs some pages back , how many of them played for club sides that are better than Chaves now?

Yet they won the AFCON.

Nothing new ....South American football is very physical and sometimes violent...I think the more reason they keep having the upper hand over African teams is their combination of skill and physicality gives them an edge most of the time.
Yeah, you're so correct.

It's for this reason we always find it tough against them.

It's also the reason Cameroon always find it easy with them.

ANS reports that Peseiro to coach Zamalek on the condition that he can cancel contract with the NFF. They should settle this amicably grin
If sacking pasero will be difficult because of financial constraints , then why not suspend him under the guise that he applied for another job while still contracted to the NFF.

A local coach should be gotten in the interim to prosecute AFCON for us.

I'm really not a big fan of local coaches, but seeing that our local coaches couldn't have performed worse than what pasero had churned out so far, it's choosing a lesser evil.

Guys, what's ur impression about the coach of The Gambia Saintfield or something?

I like what he did with the Gambian team at the last AFCON.

He was once in the running for the Eagles job together with Keshi that time. Keshi made a disparaging comment about him that time that he had to take Keshi to CAS accusing him of racism.

I think he was once the coach of Ethiopia .

first remove all those towns in lagos. Lagos is a mega city. 1 city. U don't have to name all streets in lagos and call them SW cities individually. Lagos is not, has never, and will never be part of SW. A British protectorate, developed by whitemen and igbos.
Remove all towns in Kogi and Kwara states. They are in NC, not SW. Of the remaining ones, demarcate those that are towns and those that are cities let's see.
When exactly did igbos start developing lagos?

Lagos has always been developed before igbos arrived there.

As at the date below, Lagos was one of the most developed places in Africa.

There is a debate going on on Facebook on who the most beautiful female footballer on the continent is.

It all started with the post below by a Cameroonian declaring her compatriot the most beautiful African female footballer and in typical fashion, fans if other countries have been dropping pictures of their own to counter this.

Which is your pick?

Not true.

Complete football started in 1985.

They are the pioneer sports magazine in Nigeria.

Looks like the 1985 U17 world cup winning boys.
It is only easier to identify those that progressed into the senior team. The one to the right looks like Victor Igbinoba, though.
It's the 89 set.

Benedict Akwuegwu and Babatjide Oguntuase.

The both look truly U 17.

HealthRe: Why Are Medical Doctors' Handwriting So Difficult To Read?(photo) by Nomyth: 11:57am On Oct 17, 2023
Matinox:
Doctors are notorious for being unable to write legibly. The most common explanation seems to be that overuse of the hands and the need to write notes quickly are to blame. The sheer volume of information recorded daily causes our handwriting, even if it was good initially, to deteriorate over time.
This, exactly is the simple reason for the bad handwriting.

Those saying it's because they don't want u to see the prescription are simply uninformed.

One, as a patient, u have the rights to know what drug or injection u are given.

And two, even if u don't know the name of the drug cuz of the doctor's bad hand writing, aren't u goin to easily see it on the package when the pharmacists give u?

JP might have his weaknesses, but he got most things right yesterday
We moved the ball better..
Our transitions were good
And we created chances
We played free flowing football yesterday

It was just a bad day for our strikers and our GK. That's all
On to the next game
In addition, we were also able to come back from a goal down.

For some time now, the eagles have struggled whenever they conceded first.

The last part where it states the creative role has now been vested in the DM, I think we can now forgive Mourinho for converting Mikel to a DM.

Man was ahead of his time.

The basis for SE national team selection is outstanding, consistent, quality performance in your team and league.

Youth football is just potential yet to be realised with a many variables that will determine the ability to make it in professional football.

This is why we have been having a never irrational, emotive preference based even obsessive quest by many to have NWAKALI in the SE . Not based on merit but sentimental favouritism.

Nwakali was great at youth level, that's where it began and where it ended 8 years ago.
The bolded is exactly my point.

The Nigerian league is just too agricultural to find a technically gifted footballer, if I'm not mistaken, Finidu George is the last technically gifted player to move directly from the local league to the National team.

What has worked for us in the past is grooming from the youth team to the National team. That was how we got the likes of Mikel and Okocha.

Of course, there might the wasted talents along the line but it doesn't mean we can't get quality players from the youth team.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Nomyth: 7:59pm On Oct 05, 2023
Could the dearth of quality AMs in the National team be a direct consequence of our poor performance in youth football in recent years?

Our various youth teams have been the production line thru which we get quality Midfielders in the past.

Etim Esin, Mutiu Adepoju, Jay Jay okocha, Thompson Oliha,Wilson Oruma, pius Ikedia,Mikel obi, Haruna lookman all came thru the youth ranks.

Our local league hasn't really come thru for us in this regard with only Friday Ekpo the only quality Midfielder I can identify that the league has given us and it is not every time quality Midfielders pop up randomly in Europe. Only Sunday Oliseh, Joel obi and Obodo have popped up for some time.

We might need to pay more attention to the youth teams u17 to u23 if we need to discover more AMs for the NT.
