XereX: The investments of Aliko Dangote and Alhassan Dantata is greater than that of whole ibos put together. Dangote alone employs more people than all ibo business men in Lagos.

Tell me one contribution the ibos are bringing to Lagos other than leeching and sucking? Your so-called economic prowess can only fly in the minds of deluded goats like yourself. Or you think spare parts and pirating CD is what is progressing Lagos?
you and other condemned swines are living in a world of fantasy. When you get back to your senses and reason at least, like a homosapien, i will give you audience.

olas24u: Government policies shapern investment and new ideas ,let there be electricity and see what will happen.A simple government policy on the banned on 2nd hand clothings and textiles affected lives of your so called business people. The ikeja industrial zone, ilupeju industrial zones were ones dominated by yoruba producers.
Govt policies always sharpen investment no doubt. But such policies impact equally on bussiness irrepective of ownership. If Igbos can be ahead without such policy, what will happen when such incentives are given-complete domination! On the other hand saying Igbos deal on second hand cloths is self deception. This is because what we call Nigrian ready made cloths and shoes are produced by igbos. The ones imported are imported by Igbos. It is still Igbos that form the Bulk of the traders. where did yoruba come into the picture. This is why economic santion imposed by balogun and Alaba traders will see lagos governor begging them on his knees. It is unbelievable but true.

XereX: Funny, every other ethnic groups are happy with this development as evident on this thread except the ibos.
I bet they are simply being idealistic. If they succeed in making Igbos leave Lagos, the city will collapse like a deflated baloon. Then they will have time to integrate SW well and can even choose sign language to teach.

by making it a matter of choice i mean making it compulsory for indigenes of Lagos state only .

Festus Odimegwu said the 2006 headcount was a huge joke and they handed him a query. Now i hope this verdict answers the query.
PoliticsRe: S-west Governors Consider Yoruba As Language Of Instruction by Noneroone(m): 9:40pm On Aug 30, 2013
It is no doubt a good development but they should make it a matter of choice especially in Lagos.

Am happy you know. Can you now put it into practice and refrain from being aggressive.
Christianity EtcRe: Is Abortion Okay In Protestant Churches? by Noneroone(m): 5:07pm On Aug 30, 2013
chukwudi44: How on earth does penance and purgatory encourage abortion? are you sure you are mentally okay.By the way the thrash you just spewed here does not even represent the churche's teaching on purgatory and penance. Please go and get some education and stop making a fool of yourself
Religious fanatism isn't a virtue, it can lead to spiritual blindness. Quit before it becomes late.
Christianity EtcRe: Is Abortion Okay In Protestant Churches? by Noneroone(m): 8:44am On Aug 30, 2013
tete7000: When people like you don't know what to say, you turn the argument upside down. How can what people use their freewill to do invalidate the truth the church teaches? Your response will be appreciated.
The essence of doctrine is to make christians comform to certain moral and spiritual standards necessary for their salvation. Likewise, the catholic church condemn abortion because they believe it constitute the act of shedding blood. If the church succeeds in condeming the act why the faithfuls do otherwise, is the essence of the doctrine not defeated? Will the young girls who die during abortion be saved by the mere fact that catholic doctrine rejects abortion? What i am saying is that the catholic church end in rejecting the act in principle while keeping some teachings (such as purgatory and penance ) which are antithetical to this doctrine. If a girl who commits an obortion knows she can still pray 14 hell marys and be forgiven or still go to heaven after spending some time in the purgatory, where is the deterrance? The catholic church rejects the act in doctrine while living the faithfuls to their 'freewill' or even encouraging them indirectly. I hope i have explained what i mean by saying " they pretend a lot"
Christianity EtcRe: Is Abortion Okay In Protestant Churches? by Noneroone(m): 7:06pm On Aug 29, 2013
The Anglican church does not support it either. The question should be whose faithfuls engage in abortion most and i guess catholics. Though they pretend a lot.

PoliticsRe: Willy Obiano Is APGA Anambra Guber Candidate by Noneroone(m): 10:31pm On Aug 26, 2013
Sorry (no insult intended) the Obiano i saw today looked like a rogue. Even Andy Ubah looks more responsible than him. Those hoping to see Apga win are living in a world of fantasy. Did anyone even notice that neither victor Umeh nor Kwentoh the state chairman attended the primary. All may not have even been heard.
Foreign AffairsRe: Syrian Rebels Used Sarin Nerve Gas, Not Assad’s Regime: U.N. Official by Noneroone(m): 8:11pm On Aug 26, 2013
When that of Egypt started, everybody called it a revolution but few knew what was happening. One of the protesters who was interviewed by the BBC said they wanted democracy while another person among the crowed who quickly interrupted him said they wanted an islamic state. The question was, what brought people with different aspirations together against a serving leader? probably they were mobilized by outsiders. At least we now know that mubarak was never the problem rather muslims brotherhood are! This is what is happening in syria, the same muslim denomination are fighting to overthrow the government whereas some people think they fight for democracy. No wonder Assad said the defeat of the rebels will mark the end of political islam. We should read the handwriting on the wall.

PoliticsRe: Two PDP Candidates Emerge For Anambra Guber Election by Noneroone(m): 3:02pm On Aug 25, 2013
Though Ngige's statement about deportation is condemnable, he will still win in a free and fair contest. I would have voted for soludo under apga and will still do that if he emmerges but now he is out of the picture, ngige is next bearing his antecident in mind. As for apc being an ethnic party, i personally hate the party and other actors within its hierarchy. What can we say, Obi and his brother have sold apga for 30 pieces of silver. The party ceased to exist the day they stopped soludo.

TV/MoviesRe: Five Ways Hollywood Movies Are As Bad As Nollywood Movies. by Noneroone(m): 7:25pm On Aug 24, 2013
Both industries have their faults. Imagine statements from nollywood movies "AFDAC" (instead of NAFDAC) "EPA" (instead of NEPA ) On the part of hollywood, swarzzneggar is the cat with nine lives. He can kill ten armed men with just a stick or is it Rambo that killed with bow and arrow.
Christianity EtcRe: Pope Benedict Left After ‘A Mystical Experience’ by Noneroone(m): 10:26pm On Aug 22, 2013
The (catholic) church is weary, both in wealty europe and in America. Our culture is aged, our churches are big, our convents are empty and the bureaucracy of the church has swollen, our rites and our vestments are pompous...The church is 200 years behind the times--interview with catholic cardinal Carlo Maria Martini, published posthumously by Corriere della sera. (AWAKE August 2013 p.3) Your former pope may have said the truth about his resignation but may be concealed just like the above for the right time to release it. Thats the way of the catholic church - use of deciet and dogma to gag the faithfuls.
Christianity EtcRe: What Is Wrong With Paying Your Tithe In Church? by Noneroone(m): 5:53pm On Aug 21, 2013
BADNEAT: I won't lie ooo...I'll rather give 1/10 of my money to the visibly needy who have no hopes of feeding and clothing than for me to carry it to any any church to give to a pastor. ..that doesn't mean I can't contribute or donate when my church is in need. .buh to d pay 1/10 of my salary to a pastor who is changing his car every year and lives in a mansion while I'm still in my 3bedroom flat will not only be stupid but i'l deserve to be severely punished by God who created me, gave me a brain a conscience and a heart. ...its really surprising to my own maniacal bewilderment that people should be debating on this. ..the state at which nigerians and human beings are looking for money this days is rather appalling.
U see 7 churches in one street shouting ontop of their voices with megaphones. .all in d name of serving CHrist and I ask why not come together and merge together since its one God that is being served but how can they when everybody ani pastor is looking for what will enter his own pocket. ..they see it as a business enterprise. .working tirelessly for the growth of their individual churches. ..I cry for those who hv been enslaved and brainwashed into such conclave...we are in the end time...the hand writing is everywhere. .may God open our eyes...
Giving to charity is secular humanism. The kindom of God has its own rigtheousness.
TV/MoviesRe: Lagos To Censor Films, Warns Operators Against Default by Noneroone(m): 9:09am On Aug 21, 2013
Afro connect: Check the laws,or if you dont know book ask a lawyer how a federation system operates.
In a federation system like Nigeria each state has a right to proscribe its own laws and regulations.
Just like in America you see some states legalizing canabis and others don't.
so before you guys castigate people-read the laws to see if they are acting ultravires.
Nigeria operates a federation system like America, where every state is independent, but can not secede from the unit.
so many educated fools in here.
you are wrong because any regional law in a federation that is incompactible with the provisions of the grundnum, the constitution, is null and void. This is true both in Nigeria and America. The national film and video censors board must have been established by an act of the national assembly.

PoliticsRe: Ngige, Obi Bicker Over Improved Power Supply by Noneroone(m): 7:50am On Aug 03, 2013
Hahaha...since Obi became governor, he has consistently stated that it is the job of federal not his government to provide power supply. What then is the logic behind taking the glory for improved power in awka when he only shared china transformers to communities and Awka became a city in darkness in his eight years adminnstration. It is all over Awka that Ngige is responsible for the improved power supply.
PoliticsRe: Soludo Officially Joins APGA! by Noneroone(m): 1:18pm On Aug 01, 2013
The factors i consider important in this election are political party, political personality and precedence. while apga, apc and PDP are the most important parties, PDP is in shambles, apga has less problem, while apc is the most compact. Apc is a new party in anambra politics that needs rugged campaign to re-enact the populism that acn in anambra was known for, i cannot say it is an excellent platform that can deliver a candidate within three months. On the part of apga, the lack of grassroot structure despite staying eight years in the state, its wanning popularity resulting from bad governance from obi's govt may affect its chances. In fact, the party manages to exist by conjuring up ethnic and religious sentiments. PDP on its part has potentials but internal wrangglings and impositions might emasculate the party
On the issue of personality, soludo is known internationally as an economic expert but his decision to join apga, a party he heavily critisized for being too ethnic, leaves me doubting his political sagacity.also his take on obi's performance and his desire to consolidate on it keeps me doubting his competence. Ngige has been tried tasted and indeed trusted. Though he has not excellently defended that in the senate so far, the two and half years magic still lives on. Many including me believe apc is a wrong party, but his desision to remain with the party makes him a man of principle. Uba also has political personality. He has been 'annointed' by the PDP on the advice of OBJ. But having ngige as his enemy especially now he is backed by OBJ, ngige's prime enemy, whom he will not like to dictate the future of the state, ngige might chose to make uba's failure his first priority. After all my first choce is ngige. Nevertheless they are all good believing none of them will be as bad as obi in terms of performance.
