That is an information from nairametrics explaining how mobile inter scheme transaction grew by a whopping 153% as a result of rise in dollar and someone is saying don’t compare dollar to naira. Lol. Majority of which were telecommunications companies who increase their tariff by 30% and you all think 1gb for 1500naira is the same 1gb in other countries! Fraud!

Treadway:
your screenshot reads 'Mobile transactions double to 12.8 trillion in 9 months'?? I don't understand how this relates. You do know what mobile transactions means right shocked shocked shocked

Maybe you uploaded the wrong thing, cos if not, Omo!

The only people making real money in Nigeria now with the dollar rate are either scammers, yahoo boys, politicians or traders exploiting buyers with fake exorbitant prices using dollar rate as excuses.

The question should be who have the highest minimum wage and stop comparing bills to make you feel like you are enjoying in Nigeria. If you want to really live comfortably in Nigeria you will spend beyond that. Person when Dey suffer go Iya Basiri go buy beans and bread for 500naira you wan use am compare person when go Mr. Biggs buy food for 3500naira(4.4$). Both of them are Nigerians, but the first is suffering or managing. You can buy the same food in Canada with the same 4.4$ Or less sef.

Internet bills in Canada or use is around 30$-50$ (about 24-30k in naira) and that covers everything for the month and work is always available to get the money, except you are lazy and not want to work. For Nigeria most people spend above similar amount or above that especially those using MTN.

And yes!, we will keep on converting Dollar to naira and keep on comparing because it affects our economy. Dollar affect petroleum cost, housing, food, clothing, transportation and anything you can think.

The fact is the poorer your country, the less you spend and the less minimum wage. That doesn’t mean you are progressing my guy!
Treadway:
no be 'that poster', na Nosa111 be him name/moniker..lol..and he didn't even say 500k is small salary, he said 500k can't feed family of 4 in a month! so you can correctly guage the level of ment. I checked out his threads, even took some screenshots as he fit deny am, that nigga was still in Naija as recent as July, and prolly still is in Nigeria. Na their type go land JFK and pick up fake accent within two weeks. I can even still forgive Twoods, even tho the bros just likes to argue for argument sake touching like 20 topics at once instead of the focal topic of the argument (I guess he didn't know that I back up my words/points) but understandably he has been out of the country for a while, I reckon, so he may not be up to date on some things, but you see Nosa, that nigga is prolly still in Naija as we speak. Lol

Fact is, the topic of this thread will have two answers. Expecting everyone to sleep and face the same place is stupid. Some will feel it isn't worth it based on their present circumstances and all things considered, and some will feel it is worth it based on all this too. I can move abroad, but under very concrete circumstances that I am very clear on. So all the BDC calculations and dignity of labour rhetoric doesn't sway me at all. Of course, yes comparing Naija to first-world countries is absurd, however, don't automatically assume anyone that isn't worshipping the first-world country or agreeing to a certain point means the person is saying Nigeria is better. It is illogical GNS101.

For example Twoods came and dropped a statistic and I am better informed on that subject. You have left, I am here. I said this stat is wrong. If it had ended there, it would have ended there. But no, in arguments like this, the avg Abroadarian feels he/she knows more than you and everything they say is right. Which is bollocks! As a person, I choose my words very carefully and don't say things I can't back up, plus you don't get to where I am today without having something upstairs. I may not have lived in other countries, but I have visited them. Someone like Sukkot has lived in many. Once someone challenges your point of view, you just go into one kin mode wey no make sense, it gets worse when they now see facts and go even more berserk. It is infantile. We can have fact-based discussion and learn without hard feelings or unnecessary pride holding on to wrong viewpoints. Cheers!

PS: A short guide to the art of arguing on point! Imagine, you are on Who wants to be a millionaire and the 100million naira question is 'Which of these countries has the cheapest internet:
A. Nigeria
B. UK
C. USA
D. Canada

The simple answer is A. The answer doesn't care if your internet is high speed and is connected to 100 UHD TVs. The answer is simply A. That is how to argue on point. Let's hope at least one person here learns this today.

Atleast you know what I actually mean, anybody can make error spellings, better than you who confidently wrote fact you are not sure of, Reminds me of Lie Mohammed. You dey bash Oyinbo say Their system nor good but you dey more intrigue about their language like it’s your mother’s tongue. so much Hypocrisy. lol
Treadway:
you left the bubble, but never left. Very poor spellings and grammar. Did you write IELTS?
TravelRe: Is Traveling Abroad Worth It? by Nosa111(m): 3:25am On Nov 09, 2022
Hahah! Ngozi okonji never went to a university in Nigeria. For the fact that you are confidently saying what you don’t know doesn’t worth my time of argument. Leave in your bubble.
ariesbull:
NGOZI Okonjo didn't school in USA many Nigerians doing well in oversee or any where didn't have their first degree in USA

Just add value to yourself... Many Nigerians are lecturers in oversea and they are doing that with Nigeria and degree

So you that is oversea can we know your contribution to the education or corporate world... How many people have your establishment employed in Europe or USA... Don't tell me you are doing this hourly jobs and juggling between 2 to 3 jobs under credit card burden

Do you know how many people need an elderly home in Nigeria? Is there even a provision for elderly people in this country? Not to talk of people with disabilities, do you know how much people with disabilities receive from the government each year? Your president Dey UK for treatment, Whona government when Dey hide palliative na you dey use compare. I assume say you don smoke lol
BigBashiru:
Being a citizen of canada means nothing. those plans they have for retired people is putting them in elderly homes....thats all... and thats only because people no longer hv families in Canada...
TravelRe: Is Traveling Abroad Worth It? by Nosa111(m): 8:19pm On Nov 08, 2022
500k na money? Something that is less than 700 dollars lol. Shey 500k can feed a family of 3-4?
KlausMike:
What type of school do you think someone earning 500k can send his kids tohuh?? Definitely not the likes I’d want my kids to attend. And what type of environment would that person live inhuh Alagbole?? Or magboro? And what’s the security like in those areas? electricity? Now with that said, here in Canada, education is free!!!!! Meaning I do not have to overly worry about the standard of school (and all the cost associated with that) I send my kids. Also, security is relatively stable, there is 247 electricity which I would have to pay through my nose to have in naija. Still on the 500khuh?

The problem with the majority of Nigerians is them thinking it’s all about money. Kindly google what ‘standard of living’ means. With 1million naira, I can’t afford the standard of living I’m currently getting in Canada ! In nigeria I have to consider security, education, job security, savings becos safety nets aren’t existent.

If Nigeria as a country is doing well like Brazil, UAE and china people will not leave that much. Is ridiculous to say staying in Nigeria is better than moving abroad. With the way dollar is increasing? Think well o because even your president Dey UK as we speak.
BigBashiru:
I agree with your second paragraph but I disagree that it's only "oyibo" - white man....Chinese and Brazilian and UAE have the same good systems so its not limited to just oyinbo....
TravelRe: Is Traveling Abroad Worth It? by Nosa111(m): 4:05pm On Nov 08, 2022
Been gay it’s his right. Sexualism cut across boundaries. It might surprise you to know we have lots of gays and lesbians in Africa than those countries.

Nobody Dey worship Oyinbo, they have a better system, a working government, and opportunities, that is why Nigerians do well when they get to Oyinbo land than they do in Nigeria.
Munamoqel:
good up bring .is a illusion with this oyinbo gays and lesbians life style . individualism .you might putting your kids at huge risk . Doyin okupe taught he was given his kids the best . now the boy is Gay .una no dey use una head at all . Always worshipping oyinbo .
TravelRe: Is Traveling Abroad Worth It? by Nosa111(m): 4:00pm On Nov 08, 2022
You must be joking, better get your mind enlighten. Our politicians and other big men who have a lot of money still send their families abroad to live because they know better. The only thing I can believe what ever you are saying is if you show me your private history and I see for myself how many countries you don visit, then I might consider taking your opinion

Nigeria is better indeed. Do you know numerous plans canada and US have for sick or retired people who are citizens? Do you know what it means to be a citizen of Canada ? Lol joker.
BigBashiru:
Nigeria has better upbringing (there's respect for elders, no racismat such a young age etc), better education system (there are many private universities)....US Canadian citizenship doesn't hv many benefits trust me...visa free travel is just convenient....
TravelRe: Is Traveling Abroad Worth It? by Nosa111(m): 3:00pm On Nov 08, 2022
If you are not travelling for yourself, do it for your kids. Good upbringing, better educational system and citizenship are worth it and will definitely make an impact for them in a long run
Primusinterpares:
So lately I have seen friends, families, colleagues at work, church members relocating abroad.
These people are "doing well" here in Nigeria.
Many of them resign from their high paying jobs, sells their properties and put up to like 25 - 40 million naira to relocate a family of say 5.
Is it really worth it?
Can't we make a good living here in Nigeria especially people with a good job here?
I need clarifications from those that have gone to enlighten me.

PoliticsRe: Buhari Welcomes Release Of 23 Kaduna Train Attack Victims With Much Happiness by Nosa111(m): 5:59am On Oct 06, 2022
It’s easier for APC to fight insecurity because they instituted those security crisis like Boko haram and bandits to shame GEJ. That is why you see APC having negotiating with bandits through sheikh gumi and others. Those bandits know more than the Nigeria military and police combined, these are bandits who don’t even go to school or have enough knowledge of what Nigeria looks like. Who is sponsoring them and giving those informationhuh Stop been dumb
Realist12:
Nigeria will be great again.
This administration inherited insecurity from PDP who saw the insecurity as an avenue to cashout. At the height of insecurity with regular bombing these guys were flying money in private jets . I recall a time when Nigerians were advised to avoid mass gathering for fear of bomb attacks.
We forget quickly.
Who recalled how many times Shekarau died and resurrected under PDP ? He's gone for good now .

we have made progress , I'm just stating that the fight against insecurity by Buhari's administration is real and not a Cash cow like PDP did . And insecurity cannot fade away just like that but today we rarely see these coordinated attacks like before.

Very childish Man, he doesn't care about rectitude and protocols in such event.

Biden sat down by himself in that particular chair, the same with other leaders.
He could have gone to the front row if he wanted to, but he's not an attention seeking freak like Donald trump.

I can't wait to see Donald trump in prison, he should also be barred from holding any public office for the rest of his miserable life.

This man tried so hard to destabilise US democracy and he's still doing it, he embraced US foes and pushed allies away.
Maga republicans led by Donald trump are hellbent on destroying USA, they are the greatest threat to America today, not Russia and China.

For nigerians admiring such racist and white supremacist, you all should be ashamed of yourselves

Tinubu is a member of APC, if APC and TINUBU told us 8 years ago Buhari will change Nigeria and today it’s worst than it is when PDP was in power. what makes you think we have to trust the party and it’s candidate this time?
