Are you done?
Yeah, 98% of northerners beg for living, I agree with you. Infact, that 98% is presently in Enugu begging. Even the subject of this thread (a northerner) is on one of the streets in Enugu begging for survival. I'm also in same Enugu for same purpose. At least that is not a crime. But look at why 100% Igbos are rich;
Armed robbery
Illegal drug dealings
Prostitution
Human trafficking
Human rituals (parents and other relations not spared)
419
Executive begging
Kidnapping
Fake spare parts business
Fake drug production
Land grabbing.

The northerners however will rather beg than be involved in any of these practices, that is the difference.
Also, pls no northerner has anything, let alone invest in Enugu or Lagos, all Northerners are beggars including myself. Infact, I begged to buy this phone and data.
It is only yeebos that invest in the north. Even the Chinedu and Emeka with ringworms all over their heads hawking okpa and bons in my hood are among the great rich investors. I have also noticed how wealth is being created in brothels nationwide, very commendable.
The yeebos have also produced full-baked graduates like this one about to go for NYSC.

Guy I am no Ibgo... Im a proud Muslim from the Yoruba extraction. I have morals.

A Muslim doesnt beg. Allah is Bountiful.

I am not defending Igbos, but attacking Northern ways.

The term and condition apply to Muslims evangelical missions I can not understand.. how on earth will you spread your religion on violence, maim, killing and hatred in the name of Allah.. is Allah the same with true God?

Islam does not beg for fellowship, Islam demands dominance; even if the Muslims are few in number.

The West believes Islam, like communism, can be bombed or sanctioned out of existence. But Islam is from God and what is Gods' is everlasting and superior.

Islam will soon win irrespective of how much propaganda is pumped out of the West, soon they (westerner) will be exhausted and capitulate.

Islam will prevail and will dominate. That is a promise from God.

Pls mention how they make money.
Meanwhile, drug trafficking (international), armed robbery, human rituals and trafficking, international oloshoing, yahooism, kidnapping, fake spare parts dealings, etc are very lucrative businesses in some parts of this country. I'm sure you know which parts are identified with them.

The very reason you are able to produce an inexhaustive list of illicit money making ventures is due squarely to the kleptomania and megalomania that exists primarily among Northern politicians, armed forces and royalty.

While %98 of your people wallow in abject poverty, begging accross country as a way of life, the remaining 2% suffers from illiteracy coupled with a God complex which derives from their surplus illgotten wealth.

The north doesnt have oil and gas fields, yet we hear of so called Alhajji entrepreneurs who have made billions selling oil, selfishly exploiting loopholes in the system, creating poverty for the indigenous populations.

The north has been at the helm of power since Nigeria was given independence. How many projects can you be proud of in the northern region? Universitities are brimming with half baked undergrads who have no job prospects other than to wrestle for a post in the local council, is that your understanding of success?

It is disheartening to say the North cannot survive without the East and West, but earch can survive indefinitely without the North... That is why 80% of loot stolen by your leaders is invested in realestate in states like Lagos, Ogun and Enugu.

The British are not one to go by. Their opinions are tainted with racial ane cultural biases, and not to forget, the hegemony they still enjoy through their corporations.

No we (Yorubas) dont!

Who gave this poor chap the podium on which to speak on behalf of all Yorubas?

Ododuwa means nothing to me and I am very sure that I am not alone.

Oduduwa synergises democracy, cleptocracy and pagan worship, which is now ubiquitous in all Yoruba towns and villages.

So hell no to the way of old. I will not worship what you worship and you will not worship what I worship.

If Nigeria breaks up so too will the lands of the Yoruba.

Our views and beliefs are not in unison on any of societies pillars. We are fundamentally incongruent, theocratically diverse and intolerant.

This joker only speaks on behalf of his accolytes and minions. I am not among!

$1 million does ≠ 30 Billion Naira...

Unless 30 Billion is the aggregate amount, the article is misleading and inciteful.

500k to 1 million dollars a year is not too much to maintain a private jet for the rich. 100 private jet owners is small.

Nigeria needs more jet owners.

Crime / Re: Why I Don’t Like Nigerians By Robert Lindsay, A US Citizen by NotComplaining: 12:08pm On May 17, 2017
Amberon:
This guy is not lying at all. While I lived in eastern Europe, I got to understand these things more. I met some guys who were internet scammers. All their Nigerian friends who lived there (and i mean all with the exception of none) were internet scammers too. Eventually one got arrested (he's probably still in jail now) and several others fled the country for fear of being arrested too. One ran to Ghana after he was caught withdrawing money from western union with fake documents. He was under strict investigation and fled the country using a fake passport (which is another crime). Apparently he would create fake bank websites that are identical to the original websites. Imputing your credit card details in those websites would result in him getting all your information and subsequently he would "wire" out every penny you have. I also got to know that they did a lot of online shopping with stolen cards.

We shouldn't play the"racism card". The op is 100% correct. This op isn't exaggerating at all. Nigerians have also destroyed the reputation of Malaysia. A cyber cafe was busted in Lagos for habiting fraudsters and the locals all came out to support the fraudsters.

We don't need to lie to ourselves, the op isn't saying that EVERY Nigerian is bad, he is simply saying that an overwhelming majority of us are bad and that is the gospel truth if we mean to be truthful to ourselves. Look around and you'll find that several of your colleagues steal office property when the opportunity arises.

My friend, as a former computer wiz, I can assure you that Nigerians are at the rock bottom of the pyramid, and the pyramid stretches time and region.

We can blame Nigerians for somethings, but not most things.

I can even date the period Nigerians started on the phishing/internet fraud scene.

At the top are Russians/Chinese/Koreans. Theyve dominated the criminal underworld since inception. These criminals have roots in government and are well coordinated/trained/funded. Their hackers/fraudsters are truly sublime in the craft. They purloin millions at a time and usually target the frabric that hold together modern banking. Even with with the knowledge of Interpol, they make illicit money by 'any' means necessary.

Followed by Indians and Arabs. This group we call the big buyers. They buy high-end tools created by their antecedents for either retail or personal use. Sometimes they become proficient enough to create their own, but this is rare.

Then Western Europeans. Usually, they buy such tools for monetary gains and corporate espionage.

Then Americans,

Finally Nigerians

Why Nigerians find themselves mingled in such contraversy is because we are so loud.

Identity fraud is much bigger than Africa as a whole. Africans procure these identities from second hand sellers, not even the direct source. Like drugs, Nigerians are seen as the face of drug distribution because we like the Oga feeling even at our own detriment. But the world knows Nigerians arent remotely close the to the master planner of such operations, which is mired in grotesque violence and apathy for life.

Poverty is to blame for Nigerias flamboyance. When a poor man receives his first illicit cheque he is bound to misbehave.
