Money donation or charity is something that is good and encouraging, rich and generous people do that inorder to support the poor and needy. However, in case if Sheik Sulaiman Rahji, His generosity is extraordinary, he has given about 16 billion dollars to charity, something that only few people can do.

In the Muslim world, the Arabs are considered as the richest. They spent a lot of amount in buying of cars, gold, ships, investing in business, purchasing big market shares.The lavish life style had put the attention of the media towards them.

However, sheik Sulaiman Rahji said that he is not afraid of poverty in his life. He said that he has gone penniless in his life on two occasions. In 1957, Sulaiman bin Abdul Aziz Al Rajhi cofounded Al Rajhi Bank with his three brothers. The bank later became world largest Islamic bank which earned him 10-digit net worth.

$16 billion (60 billion riyals) is the amount of money he has donated throughout his lifetime, he said – an amount that is considered one of the largest endowments made in the Islamic world and which has yet to be matched.

Sheik Sulaiman Rahji has given two-third of his entire wealth to charity, something that can only be imagined. The 95 year old is the founder of Sulaiman Bn Abdulazeez Rahji Charitable organization. He has indeed try enough to help the poor.


Sheik Sulaiman Rahji is a living legend, the unforgettable one, his generosity will serve as lesson and a reminder to reach men, who could also donate and help poor people. We pray that God should increase his bless wealth.
