Covidodo:Don't be dumb. I said every Hausa fulani & northern muslims who live in Kano use Kano state of origin and that is the reason why Kano state is very high. Look at the figures of Katsina state that have the highest population of Indigenes in Hausa land and tell me how many it is. Gosh are Yoruba people so full of ignorance or what? These Jamb statistics are based on indigeneship and not the population of states! Delta state may be more populated than Osun & Ogun states, but the question is, DOES DELTA HAVE MORE INDIGENES THAN OGUN & OSUN STATE? Due to the big & cosmopolitan nature of Jos, we have up to 1 million settlers (half of the city's population). How many settlers does Osun has? You are talking about IMO, do u know that Imo state has the highest population of Indigenes in Igbo land? The list is fvcking based on indigeneship and not the population of a state. If u want to argue, why are Lagos & FCT very very low in spite of their large educated urban population? You people should stop disgracing Awo free education here on nairaland. |
Diiet:Look below, I attached 4 pictures of an educational charity project that my group carried out 2 months ago in Kaduna. I would have posted the picture of me addressing the students & staff of the school, but nairaland is a faceless forum. My group donated dozens of desks to a Secondary school in Kaduna where hundreds of Students sit down on the ground to learn I singlehandedly sponsored the cost of that project and it was worth more than 200k. So, the fact that all of us are joking with each other here on nairaland does not mean that we are the same. If not for this stupid & useless coronavirus epidemic, we were supposed to carry out more and more projects! So give me some months after the epidemic and I will tag you and keep tagging you. 2ndly, my people don't hate Yorubas. My own views about Yorubas are more extreme cos I know u guys and the way u operate better, since I have lived in the south more and I am a nationalist for my people. However, as time goes by and my people start working in alliance with the Igbos, we may start having clash of interests with you Yorubas. And just like I told Legendhero, Covidodo, forgiveness and all the Yorubas here, thank you guys for your sympathy towards us, but I don't think we really need sympathy. Sympathy does not help anyone in the real sense. And I don't see the sympathy of you Yorubas to mean anything. Sympathy for us, yet politcally you supported the Hausa fulanis who you know are against us. Please keep that hypocrital sympathy to yourself. Cc Naajji & DanArrewa

@Legendhero, forgiveness, Iamgrey5, Covidodo, Ayekotoo, Barbilius, candidtalk When we were arguing over Ilorin, One of u dared me to prove that Hausa language was once used as the language of senior education in Ilorin. Look below. I attached 3 screenshots from the first colonial document used to classify & record all ethnicities and provinces of Northern Nigeria, written around 1900-1910. It is now a compiled book called NOTES ON THE TRIBES, PROVINCES and EMIRATES OF NORTHERN NIGERIA PROVINCE. It was compiled by the Temple brothers, who were British colonialists in charge of the administration of the Northern Nigerian region. I want you guys to read through these 3 screenshots and u will see where 1) It was said that Ilorin urban had 2k people as that time and the majority of ethnicities listed there were Non-Yorubas. 2) Yoruba language was used for Junior education while Hausa language for advanced education in Ilorin 3) All the traditional rulers from the Igbominas, Igbolos & Ekiti speakers were appointed and confirmed by the Emir. So, not just Ilorin but the whole of Kwara was under the direct rulership of the Emirate. See, let me clear you Yorubas on one thing, cos I noticed how many of you go about saying that the Emirate in Ilorin does not change anything since even the Emir and everyone else in Ilorin speaks Yoruba as their mother tongue. Ilorin is not a unique case! Nupe land & Hausa land are both Emirates under the Sultanates (ruled by Fulanis), and almost everyone in Nupeland & Hausaland speaks only Nupe & Hausa (including the Emirs). It is only the NE that the fulanis managed to retain their native Fulfude language because the tribes there are smaller minority tribes who did not have the numbers of speakers to absorb the Fulani settlers. Fulanis conquer you and do not care whether they loose their language to yours or not. The only thing they care about is retaining the rulership of your land! Then they try to create a form of caste system where only those with fulani heritage become the elites of that society. Mind u, fulani heritage does not mean one who speaks fulani language. It means one who speaks Hausa, Nupe or Yoruba language but has full or partial fulani ancestors. This has worked perfectly in Hausa land and to an extent Nupeland, it was working in Ilorin, but due to the exposure of Western education in Yorubaland, the aim was defeated. That of Ilorin can be seen where half or majority of the elites from Ilorin are of Fulani ancestry and these can be clearly seen from their family names e.g SARAKI, BELGORE, GAMBARI, BARAJE, BELLO e.t.c So, you guys should stop claiming that the Emirate in Ilorin is weak because nobody speaks fulani language, that is ignorance! Nobody in Bida, Lapai, Agaie, Patigi or any of the Nupe towns speak Fulfude. Nupes do not even understand Hausa language as a 2nd language unlike Gbagyis, Southern Kaduna, Plateau people. Any Nupe you see speaking Hausa learnt it by living in Minna, Jos, Zaria, Kaduna, Kano, Bauchi e.t.c So, even Hausa settlers in Bida have to learn Nupe language in order to survive same way they learn Yoruba in Ilorin. However, this does not change the fact that majority of the royal families and elites among the Nupes are of FULANI ANCESTRY, and they know themselves, inspire of their mother tongue being Nupe! Today, more than 10 million fulani who live in the NW claim to be ethnic fulani but they cannot alter a word of Fulfude. Their language & Culture is HAUSA! e.g the Buharis, the Lamidos, Shagaris, Yar'aduas et all. None of them can speak a word of Fulfude or know anything about fulani Culture. This is why they are called HAUSANIZED FULANIS. The same way dozens of families and thousands of people in Ilorin are YORUBANIZED FULANIS. So, Yoruba language displaced Fulfude & Hausa language in Ilorin not up to 100 years ago, but it did not make all the Hausa fulanis there disappear. These Hausa fulanis and their descendants who now speak only Yoruba in Ilorin are the majority of the muslim extremists you have today in Ilorin. Fulanis conquer a people and try to integrate with them in order to avoid being revolted against in the future. They adopt the language of their hosts and intermarry from their hosts. That is why almost all the fulani royal families in Nigeria have Hausa, Yoruba, Nupe, Bariba, Chamba, Jukun, e.t.c wives depending on the area they settled. Thank u for your time ![]()

LegendHero:You see, this is the problem I have. Apart from Igbo & Yoruba names in Nigeria, most of you from the 3 majority groups cannot tell the names of minorities Nigerians wherever and whenever you see them. Someone like me who is from one minority region by origin and grew up in the other Minority region, I can be able to tell any minority Nigerian name on sight, but the average Yoruba, Igbo or Hausa fulani cannot! I wish there was a comprehensive list of all Nigerians admitted to study in the USA or all Nigerians who entered the USA on student permit for a particular year (perhaps provided by our embassy or some other organization). Then we would have been able to make better comparisons. It would have been easier of made much more sense! Not going through the hundreds of varsities in the US and looking out for names u think look Nigerian, when u yourself cannot be able to tell 90% of Nigerian minority names when u see them. Okeoghene is Urhobo/Isoko Orezime is an Isoko name Onyaehi Ugbagbe is either Edo or Anioma (Delta Igbo). Charles Bello is a Northern Christian. Mohammed Asiri could be a Hausa, fulani, Bura, Marghi, Ebira, Gbagyi, Nupe or even Etsako (Auchi Edo). Cc Tobrasky, forgiveness |
Covidodo:Ignoramus! Those Jamb lists are based on population (minus pure Hausa fulani states). Check if Lagos & Ekiti states are higher than Plateau state! Plateau state does not have as much indigenes as those states on the top of that list. Kaduna & Kano states are high because of their population. In Kano, everyone including Indigenes & settlers use the state as their state of origin. I have muslim cousins who use Kano state indigeneship! Kaduna is high cos it is made up of 2 nation's! Southern Kaduna & Zaria people! Kaduna state has twice the Indigenous population of Plateau. Only Southern Kaduna people can match Plateau people in number of Indigenes. Don't be ignorant! |
Supan:Thank you very much. @DanArrewa may thunder fire u for these lies of yours mentioning Deepfeel. You would have been able to succeed with all your lies here on nairaland, but unfortunately for you I am here! And since you want to be propagating your madness and misinformation here on nairaland using my people, I think I will match you madness for madness! The Middlebelt/ Northern minority tribes produce 70% of all the diverse Foodstuff in Nigeria. Southern Kaduna is the home of ginger! They farm all the ginger in Nigeria cos only them have the best soil for it. You are mentioning Taraba. Can you tell us what the Hausa fulani minority who only live in a few towns in Taraba & Adamawa farm? You people don't even own land in Taraba & Adamawa to farm, cos you are settlers there and 90% of the Landmass belongs to the Christian tribes! What farming do Hausa fulanis dominate in Nigeria other than Tomatoes & Onions? All other products come from Middlebelters & Northern Christian tribes. I keep on warning you, stay fixed on only your Hausa fulani & Kanuri land alone! Northern Christian tribes do not belong to you or have any affiliation with you. Do not speak for us or try to represent us in any way. Speak for Hausa fulanis or northern muslims alone! DanArrewa: |
DanArrewa:You are a satanic liar. Southern Bauchi where the Sayawa christians have been resisting you jihadists for decades has been a hotbed of violence since 1956 where the first clash between Sayawas and Muslims occured. Christians have been attacked times without number in Bauchi town! Stop using Taqqiya cos it will not work. Shameless liar. |
DCmonster:Don't mind the liar DanArrewa, he now has up to 10 monikers on nairaland spewing lies everywhere. There have been religious killings and attacks in almost every Northern state. |
DanArrewa:Thief ooo. Kaduna city is not a Hausa fulani city. It is a Gbagyi city for Southern Kaduna people. Do not drag middlebelt people into your Hausa fulani struggle! |
Ruby5:Thank you for this video. I will archive it, so that the foolish christians we have in Nigeria who are pro-one Nigeria should see the kind of country we share with certain people, if it is worth calling a country. If a governor can do such a thing, how much more the average citizens. |
Texman21:Cruxgemmata is not lying! I have a friend from Adamawa who is a Christian and grew up in Kano. She said she was forced to enroll with an Islamic name and wear hijab in the primary school she attended. They would not enroll her with a Christian name. |
forgiveness:I counted only 19 ![]() For the last time, we are comparing Ibadan & Jos and not the entire Oyo state. Emmanuel Alayende College & Fed school of Surveying are both in Oyo town and not Ibadan. You are now bringing ridicule to this list by listing Departments & Faculties of UI as separate institutions. Institute of African studies and Department of Forestry are part and parcel of UI. They are not independent degree awarding institutions of their own! Now here is Jos list updated ![]() 1. University of Jos 2. Bingham university 3. Karl Kumm university 4. Plateau state polythecnic 5. Federal college of Forestry 6. Federal college of Veterinary and Medical laboratory Technology, Vom 7. Nigerian college of Accountancy Jos 8. Federal college of Animal health and Production technology Vom 9. NTA Television college Jos 10. Plateau state college of health Technology, Zawan 11. ECWA college of Education, Jos 12. Plateau state college of Nursing & midwifery, Jos 13. Ecwa International college of Technology 14. College of Arabic & Islamic studies Rikkos 15. National film Institute Jos 16. Theological college of Northern Nigeria Bukuru 17. Nigerian Institute of mining and geosciences Jos 18. Federal college of land rescources technology Vom 19. Zibeh Institute of Technology, Jos 20. United school of science & Technology, Bida Bidi 21. Global college of Education, Jos Can you guys see the reason why some people call Ibadan a big for nothing city ![]() Ibadan is twice the size of Jos and was once a regional capital, but see Jos giving it a run for it's money. When we tell you people that the only part of Nigeria you can call illiterates are the Hausa fulani & Kanuri core-northerners, you people will start yarning dust. Southern Nigerians are not more literate than Middlebelt/Northern christians! That was the case 30 years ago, but we have rapidly caught up with you guys. The only edge you people still have on us is the large diaspora, traveling abroad and larger middle-class (supported by Fraudulence )!Legendhero & Tobrasky, you have been posting lists of American varsities with Yoruba & Igbo students. Yes I know my people have not started choosing the West as educational destinations in good numbers, but we are gradually getting there. However, if you go to places like Cyprus, Greece & Turkey, we are very very well represented. Even Hausa fulanis are well represented there. I had an Igbo friend who schooled in Cyprus and he confirmed to me that Middlebelters & Core-northerns clearly outnumber Southerners in his school and the whole of Cyprus at large. Go to Malaysia & Egypt, Hausa fulanis form 90% of the Nigerian Students there. Here is a proof below of what I am saying about Cyprus. I just picked a random Cyprus varsity and I logged into their alumni search. And for every northern Christian name I put in, there were people who had that name and finished from that school. And besides, you people were concluding that there was no northern Christians on those American alumni lists, and the question I have for you people is. IF YOU SEE MOST NORTHERN CHRISTIAN NAMES, CAN YOU IDENTIFY THEM? Within Nigeria and most possibly Africa, Northern Christians have the most diverse names! We have 200 ethnic groups and everyone of them have their own unique tribal names. In addition to these tribal names, we also answer Judeo-English names, Hausa Bible names & Native Hausa fulani & Kanuri names! If you guys or the average Southern Nigerian see names like NGALATO SHALLANGWA GONG CHUN ESTHER ABAINE ISUWA ANGBAZO HYELADI GONI BISHARA YASHIM NGOPWA TAFIDA NERAT BIYAYA can you be able to tell where they come from? Jokers. Or you think every Nigerian must have Chi, Ade, Ola, Nwa in their names or answer pure Islamic names like Hausa fulanis? Cc Iamgrey5, Covidodo

forgiveness:I was banned just like Legendhero. I wonder why we are banned irregularly here! Updates are coming in ![]() |
Iamgrey5:You have failed the question and left the basis of comparison. We are not comparing Oyo state & Jos! We are comparing Ibadan & Jos (cities). Did u see me list Plateau state varsity Bokkos as one of the institutions in Jos? Hell no, cos Bokkos town is not Jos. So, give me only those in Ibadan or Sshhh! Jos has an amusement park, Zoo & Museum, but I did not list them, cos those things are found everywhere else in Nigeria. I emphasized on exclusivity. What does Ibadan have that is not found elsewhere in Nigeria or West Africa? Jos has the biggest indoor market in West Africa. Jos has the only Intra-city wildlife park in West Africa. Barbilius:I striked out all these research institutions in Ibadan because they are not ACADEMIC DEGREE AWARDING INSTITUTIONS! I went through their websites and they do not offer admissions. They are purely research oriented! I only included National Vertinary Institute Vom to my list simply because it has the FEDERAL COLLEGE OF VERTINARY AND MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGY inside it and they are an academic degree awarding institution https://fcvmlt.edu.ng/ So, Ibadan has 10 Tertiary academic degree awarding institutions, while Jos has 11 ![]() I am also yet to see the exclusive entities Ibadan has on Nigeria/West Africa. @Iamgrey5, abeg I have already listed many production & mining companies in Jos and I am tired to do that again. Besides, I am only interested in Yale-Sumal foods & Sweetco foods cos these are the only Indigenous Ibadan production companies, since they have their headquarters in Ibadan. All those 1 plant-1 warehouse branch companies u are listing for Ibadan are just not it. Cc Covidodo, Ayekotoo, Legendhero |
LegendHero:You people complain that someone does not post statistics and references, but when one does, you people do not even bother to read it. I posted multiple links citing the Jos ultra modern market and u said I didn't. Now, here is it for the whole world to see, say I didn't again and thunder will locate you. .. https://thenationonlineng.net/jos-upon-model-market/amp/ http://www.aitonline.tv/post-reconstruction_of_the_burnt_jos_main_market_begins Stop claiming nonsense. The only reason why I mentioned Kaduna in comparison with Ibadan was because I found it difficult to compare a city on a flat land to a city on mountains! Nothing else! Did I not agree with you that we should go on with the comparison between Jos & Ibadan? Oh and here you are now asking me how much all the Tin mining companies in Jos are worth, but when I asked you the same question about the micro-companies in Ibadan, of their worth in comparison to Nasco, you guys have been crying that Nasco is all I have ![]() This is the reason why other Nigerians stereotype you people as hypocrites. You guys cannot collect what you dish out to others. I call those companies in Ibadan Micro-companies cos all them are mere branch industries of bigger business conglomerates based in Lagos or overseas, save for Yale foods & Sweetco who have their headquarters in Ibadan Take for example the Cway u have been making noise with, they have branch industries in Benin, Kaduna and 6 other cities in Nigeria. https://cwaygroup.com/history Fanmilk is a Danish company and it's headquarters in West Africa is in Ghana and not Ibadan. They only have a plant in Ibadan, same way they have in Kano and dozens of other cities a cross the subcontinent https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fan_Milk So, how on Earth do you expect me to put all these mini-industries in the same category with Nasco? These mini companies cannot even compare INTEGRATED DAIRIES JOS (the biggest dairy industry in Nigeria that sources it's products locally). It's headquarters is in Jos. These are the kind of companies we should be talking about and not one small branch warehouse with a plant being called a company! Check Western statistics and see how companies are classified with a city. They are done based on the headquarters of that company in that city! Crown flour mill has it's headquarters in Lagos. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fan_Milk You have been making mouth about educational institutions in Ibadan and I just gave you a bomber that we have 2 Universitiy teaching hospitals in Jos, only for you to start saying that UI teaching hospital is better than the 2 in Jos. Are you not now falling back to my theory that 10 cupcakes and not up to 1 mega cake? For God's sake, if u are not a stark hypocrite, why do you attack me when I say Nasco is worth more than all the micro industries in Ibadan? Yet now u are asking me the worth of all the mining industries in Jos? And also telling me how UI TH is better than UJTH & BUTH? Stop being a stark hypocrite. Do u want to go by numbers or quality? Which? Jos has 11 tertiary institutions. 1) University of Jos 2) Bingham university 3) Karl Kumm university 4) Plateau state polythecnic 5) Federal college of Forestry 6) National Veterinary research institute Vom 7) Nigerian college of Accountancy Jos Federal college of Animal health and Production technology Vom9) NTA Television college Jos 10) Plateau state college of health Technology, Zawan 11) ECWA college of Education, Jos Mind you, I said Jos not Plateau state. All these schools are within Jos- Bukuru-Kuru-Vom-Zawan urban area. Pls can we see the list of tertiary institutions within Ibadan? Jos wildlife park is the only of it's kind in West Africa. Same with our ultra modern market which was burnt down but is being reconstructed. Can we see the exclusive things Ibadan has on Nigeria or West Africa ?? And mind you, some of those stupid financial statistics you people fly here and there, you people don't know that these things are subject to population & cost of living right? If Kano or Oyo state has a higher IGR than Plateau state, it definitely is because Oyo & Kano states have twice the population of Plateau state! It only becomes a problem when a state like Ekiti with lower population has a higher IGR or economy than Plateau state and it is not an oil producing state. So, only a foool will compare the economic GDP of Oyo & Plateau state and be happy, forgetting than Oyo has an estimated 10 million people, while Plateau state is not more than 5 million people. Also, cost of living matters and that is where the GDP PPP comes in and Per capital PPP.

LegendHero:I have been looking for this comment since. Thank God I found it. Awo never supported the creation of the Middlebelt region because he so much loved or cared for our people! NO. He did it just to revenge the Sardauna & Zik for liberating the Midwest minorities. Setting the records straight. Besides did all the so-called regions not end in this chaotic mess of centralized states we all have now? No one can truly be free in this useless country unless the country divides and that is why I get so angry hearing all this restructuring nonsense. |
Anambralstson:OMG. I am just going through your comments now and men did you give the Yorubas a bloody nose with your facts. Kudos! Keep it up. |
Iamgrey5:Stop being slow! I was never the one who started the comparisons of the economies of Jos & Ibadan. I only said that Jos looks better than Ibadan finish. It was Legendhero that started talking about economies, educational institutions, malls e.t.c. He was gallivanting and talking down Jos until I brought NASCO out for him as a knockout he never expected! Nasco with it's headquarters in Jos is worth more than 10 of some of the micro industries in Ibadan put together. I also listed 7 tin mining companies for him! And many other industries. So throw away that your belief that the tin mining industry is dead in Jos. It's there, it's not just as lucrative as before when it was among the top 5 income generators of pre-colonial Nigeria. Besides, the FG are the ones who collect taxes from the tin mining industries and not the state govts. I also told him that Jos had the biggest ultramodern market market in West Africa if not for the crisis, he swore on me that it was a lie. I showed him proofs and he kept quiet. ![]() Ibadan is bigger than Jos in size and is more economically influential than Jos no doubt, no argument, just that Jos will also rubbish it in other areas and aspects. For starters, Jos has 2 universitiy teaching hospitals, but Ibadan has only 1. Jos still attracts more tourists than Ibadan. People come to Jos to see the only Intra-city wildlife park in West Africa. And point of correction, me talking about D'banj's wife from Jos was just me proving to Forgiveness that Ibadan can never be more cosmopolitan than Jos. He made that claim and I countered him with that fact. |
Iamgrey5:Attai was not the one who founded NASCO, it was his father who founded it in 1963 in Jos. If I as a Nigerian move to Germany and found a company in Germany with the headquarters in Germany and I naturalized as a German citizen, will that company be called a Nigerian company or a German company? P & G, Nestlé, Guiness e.t.c are European companies founded over a hundred years by Europeans in Europe. They only came to Nigeria to open branches of these companies and that is why these companies do not have their headquarters in Nigeria. Abeg I don tire to explain. |
Covidodo:@bolded. Ogbeni, don't quote me in your wahala na. Zaria is not just an Emirate, but it is a historical Hausa kingdom for about a millenium, yet are Christians not dominating Muslims in parts of Zaria? Yola that is an Emirate and the biggest of all pure fulani Emirates in West Africa, is it not 50-50 between Christians & Muslims? The fraudulent Emirate Suleja now has more Christians than Muslims in that town. An Emirate is just a pointer to the historical ownership of a place to the Caliphate, nothing more nothing else. Besides I don't know why Yorubas always brag about Ilorin being a Yoruba language city, hence it cannot have Fulani elements. You people are yet to understand how the fulanis operate. Make una wait make I go bring that document about Ilorin that someone here challenged me to bring. Oh, so this is even another thread. I thought it was the other one. |
forgiveness:You are now becoming a clown ![]() That's what I notice about you Yorubas, when u people are bloodied, you result to being clowns or insulting. |
Covidodo:TY Danjuma's language has changed over the years! He's no longer an apologetic one Nigerianist. Haven't u see his comments recently? Yakubu Gowon is the only idiiot my people have and we will publicly disown him latest by next year. Such a shameless old man. Although nor be he fault. 1) He grew up in Zaria (Hausa land). 2) He is just too proud to admit that his one Nigeria legacy which he lived all his life for is now a failure. My prayer is that God keeps him alive for the next 5 years to see what his one Nigeria will become. Someone like him deserves an agonizing death in regrets. People like TY have realized their mistakes and taken a U-turn, but not Gowon. Which Ekweremadu are u talking of? Same one that Igbo youths almost lynched abroad? Igbos have clearly shown that they are not in support of their one-Nigerianist leaders. You people on the other hand still worship and idolize Tinubu. Make una pray welwell make Buhari give Tinubu person presidency by 2023, if not we go take laugh make una deactivate una accounts for nairaland oo. U people would be the laughing stock of the world. ![]() |
Iamgrey5:Did I ever say the owner of Nasco was from Plateau state? Just that he and his family have been living in the state for decades and Jos was the first place the company was established and that is the reason why the Headquarters was cited in Jos. Jos was the birthplace of the company and that is why the company is regarded as an Indigenous West African company and not a British company like Procter & Gamble. |
Covidodo:Hahaha, naso this our conversation don pain u reach sotay I don turn your archenemy? For me you are still a Zoogerian brother . And I can't call u my archenemy. And yes, I will not support Igbos to tell lies as much as I have a soft spot for them So Redcrafton, Yorubas actually have much properties & investments in the North & Middlebelt and even in places like Kaduna & to an extent Jos, Yorubas can match Igbos in properties. In Niger state & Kebbi states, Yorubas should outnumber Igbos in presence and properties although through Suleja (Abuja), Igbos could now be matching Yorubas in Niger state. As for the SS. I lived much of my life in Delta/Edo. Yes, Yorubas have properties in both states, especially Edo state, but it cannot be compared to that of Kaduna/Jos. However, Igbos in general have 10 or 20x more properties than Yorubas in the entire North & SS combined. That's the reason why some people think Igbos can never seccede. |
Covidodo:Hahaha, my brother as long as we all live in this mad Fuji house of commotion called Nigeria together, you think our paths will not cross? Even I thought it would be possible in the past, but hell no! Unless this madhouse is divided, we will continue to step on each other's toes! Just that let us try to be as civilized about it to the best possible way we can, cos none of us have anything to gain by destroying each other. Ese gan ![]() |
forgiveness:Ibadan more cosmopolitan than Jos/Kaduna is a lie from the pit of hell. Even during the regional govt days, Ibadan would not beat Jos/Kaduna in terms of cosmopolitanism. In Jos & Kaduna, before crisis divided the cities along religious lines you have Igbo dominated areas, Hausa dominated areas, Indigenous dominated areas even Igala/Idomas areas & Urhobo areas and everyone lived in peace. The Northern region was more cosmopolitan than the Western region and Kaduna was the capital of the old Northern region, so tell me how Ibadan could beat that? Jos started attracting settlers from all over Nigeria from 1900 when the British needed more and more Tin mining workers. Yorubas came, Igbos came, Hausa fulanis came and Bendelites came. Read this link about the Ogbomosho people in Jos by a Yoruba man and see that they arrived in Jos more than 100 years ago. https://www.pmnewsnigeria.com/2012/11/19/the-ogbomoso-people-in-jos/amp/ Urhobo community in Jos is so powerful that u can imagine that the only 2 Urhobo people and Nigerdeltan minorities who have won the Big brother Africa challenge were both born & bred in Jos! Karen Igho's dowry was even paid in Jos. I wonder if that woman and her family even know the road to their village in Delta state ![]() Do u know how many Lebanese, Ethiopians, Indians & Whites call Jos their homecity? D'banj's pretty wife is of SouthAfrican/American heritage but the only city she has ever known or call her hometown is Jos and she is a cousin to this MTVbase co-host below Samantha Walsh. Their entire extended family claim Jos as their hometown. https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn%3AANd9GcSS9Ff38BLAqccVowB-66lKsEqcG4912jVDu_jC9BGRko-1wJXw&usqp=CAU Ibadan will never beat Jos in cosmopolitanism in this life nor in the life to come. The weather and exotic fruits & vegetables in Jos alone is enough to make Jos 50% foreigners by population (all we need to do is promote it). And 2ndly, what do you mean some part of SW formed Abuja? . Are you talking about Abaji LGA that was part of old West-Central (Kwara state)? You see, due to the COWARDICE of you Yorubas, you have never gotten the balls to claim Kwara state and only God knows if u will ever get them. Neither Kwara or old West-Central state was ever part of the SW. Infact, West central state at the time of creation was not even dominantly Yoruba, and I have had this debate here with a Yoruba guy and thrashed him till he ran away. West central state was middlebelt dominated and Yorubas were a minority in that state. That state was made up of the whole Kwara & Kogi combined + Abaji (FCT) and Borgu (Niger state) combined. Even when Igalas, Borgus & Abajis left the state and it became Kwara and Yoruba dominated, minorities were still dominating the Yorubas there! E.g the Ebiras who produced the first elected governor of the new state. Kwara/Kogi Yorubas have always been bitches to the Caliphate & Kwararafan descendants and only God knows when that will end Cc Covidodo, Legendhero, Iamgrey5 |
Redcrafton:Yes oo, Nigeria can never be one. That is why people like us get so angry at Yorubas when we see them propagating one Nigeria and unity-begging just like their father Tinubu is doing. |
Diiet:Yorubas were the ones who insulted me first on this thread and I have proven it. So I have no business with Yorubas. I wouldn't have joined this thread if not that you Yorubas & Hausa fulanis were telling blatant lies which affects my people. Open any thread and tell a lie which affects me and I would be there, only that I may not be having all time always. |
Cosbyrich:Why are you guys so obsessed with my tribe? Is Plateau state as my identity not enough for you? If you see Plateau people from all our different tribes in one place, can you be able to tell us apart? You people even find it hard to tell Middlebelters & Hausa fulanis apart and yet u want to know my tribe? How will my tribe help you?, when you cannot even tell my people apart from each other? Asking me my tribe is just like a Hausa man asking you if you are Igbomina, Egba or Ijebu. Can they tell u guys apart? |
Iamgrey5:Oga pls be reading well before you type. Yorubas lost their dominant areas to Hausa fulanis, but they did not leave the entire city of course. They simply relocated to Indigenous/Igbo dominated areas. Same way you did in Kano & Kaduna. |
gomojam:80% of any middlebelter you see in Yorubaland are Ebiras & Nupes. These ones are your immediate neighbors and your brothers and sisters in Islam. Most of them don't like the idea of the Middlebelt cos it has been hijacked by the Christian tribes and we don't even want them normally cos they are just like typical Yorubas. The remaining 15% Igalas & Idomas are connected to us, but distantly ![]() How many Plateau, Nasarawa, Southern Kaduna & Taraba people live in Yorubaland? Point of correction. Nothing concerns a typical middlebelter with Yorubas except for your Nupe, Ebira & Bariba neighbors. Yorubas are the ones who get in my way. Yorubas are the ones who have been crying and attacking seccesionist efforts by the Igbos. So, by the time my people fully join Igbos for seccesionist agitations, Yorubas will still be the ones crying over us. |
