SniperInADiaper: I never noticed them gone.. but if I browse from my phone then I don't always see the pictures.
Strange. Noticed none of mine's been affected though.

I am talking real shytte over here!!!!.

i WOULD HAVE phuccked her since but she participated in the Ramandan(?) fast and i didn't want to phucck her brains up during that period. Now that it is over, She is earnestly yearning for me while playing the good kid card.I am just extremely busy that is why i haven't had time for her.I swear down the other day she came to my office and deliberately threw a piece of paper on the floor and bent to pick it up( A lady ought to kneel or rather squat while picking things from the floor!!). Her a.r.see was all over my face!!!( for a moment though, i thought she would fart!!!). At that moment i thought i would run over to the door, lock it up(But hey!! why da phhucck she be seducing her boss?, unzip my trousers and stick it in since she had given me the access code but i felt, caution should be paramount in her case cos i know Unilag babes don't wear panties and are down for whatever as long as you are good looking, wad of notes, have a crib and a car(even if it isn't your own ). I just want to be sure that she isn't a public toilet though, cos she be forming she wanna be focus and ish. I am currently running my background and integrity check before i light that V up the spectacular manner i am accustomed to!!!!.But i strongly believe it isn't everything in skirt a man should chase. It becomes a weakness.

Holy shyteee!! I can't even believe what i typed above!!. This is how close i have gone to revealing what is happening to me at the moment!!!!!

I am so excited about that ar...s..e though.......................

anonimi: Not quite.
It will be more correct to say the Jonathan administration is less frivolous than their ACN counterparts who do their roads at over 2 billion per kilometre.

https://www.nairaland.com/1040919/n30bn-mile-12-ikorodu-road
2 billion per kilometre? Shouldn't you look at the kind and features of the road ... ?
Here's an excerpt from where you've quoted:

N30bn Mile 12 to Ikorodu Road expansion starts

The much publicised expansion work on the 13.5 kilometre Mile12 to Ikorodu Road project has begun as Lagos State government mobilised the contractor- Chinese Civil Engineering and Construction Corporation, CCECC, to site. The project is estimated to cost N30 billion.

The 59-year-old dual carriageway is to be expanded into six lanes with Bus Rapid Transit, BRT route in the middle.

Other features of the multi-million naira road project include 15 BRT bus stations, three terminals –to be located at Mile 12, Agric and Ikorodu, nine new bridges, seven pedestrian bridges to access BRT stations, nine pedestrian crossing points, 12 new U-turns to allow for traffic going towards Lagos and Ikorodu, lane markings and streetlights.

The project is scheduled to be completed within two years.
The bolded are just so u take note. Not justifying the cost, but you really cannot compare a six lane metropolitan freeway to inter-state highways, don't you think?

VillageBoi: Thanks a lot, yes I did want the strings & her fingers over the hole in focus. No it wasn't a lens even half that good... it was the 'nifty-fifity'... the f1.8 lol.
That 'nifty-fity' is kinda hefty, don't you think? cheesy grin Suits me pretty well as a walk-around lens.
VillageBoi: I really like your shots. If anything even has a glimpse of nature in it - I will like it. Oh man, I have to get brave and head out to wait for that time of the morning... I would love to go to Richmond Park that early and catch the mist and deers. I've never really shot nature, I should start learning to.
Guess nature and landscape photography is your thing then smiley I'd like to think of myself as into portrait and street photography, with a passing interest in landscapes. You're quite right, stepping outside to go find picture worthy locations is the hard part, once that is done, I guess the rest should be easy.
VillageBoi: Life can sometimes be..... twisted!
That's a really sharp picture. Kinda like how you crop the picture at the top the let the foliage show as shadows on the ground ... nice! cool

proO1: You dey mind them? Tomorrow some cattle rearers would emerge from the shadows and ask everyone else to "go back to your village" since Abuja belongs to them. Same thing is playing out before our eyes in Lagos. Funny country.
solomon111: Niger-delta money be used to develop foreign regions, yet they don't want GEJ to rest.
I won't be surprised if the "indigenes" start claiming that usman dan fodio developed abuja tommorrow.
We need true and complete federalism in this country.
Everybody should develop their regions with their own resources.
Just stating the historical facts here. The Federal Capital Territory in Lagos was limited to Lagos Island and its municipality which included Ikoyi, V.I and Yaba administered through Federal Ministry of Lagos Affairs. The rest of Lagos metropolis: Ikeja, Agege, Mushin, Ikorodu, Epe and Badagry (majority of present day Lagos) was part of and administered by the Western Region from Ibadan until the creation of Lagos state in 1967. In 1968, Lagos Island was capital & sit of two governments: Lagos State government and the Federal Capital. In 1976, after the creation of FCT in Abuja, Ikeja became the state capital.

Just so you Know.

PoliticsRe: Documents Show Lagos Informed Anambra Government Before Alleged Deportation by nrdgeek: 9:26pm On Aug 02, 2013
KenGali: Sorry who are you?

That's no evidence, if you got an Evidence, you won't need a response from Anambra State Govt. cause it will not be doubtful.
A concerned Nigerian, hope that helps you?

It's prima facie evidence and burden lies on him who claims it to be false to prove that it is in actual fact, false.
Anambra govt. need reply to prove that the documents are false, or claim willful or inadvertent dereliction of duty by it's officials.
PoliticsRe: Documents Show Lagos Informed Anambra Government Before Alleged Deportation by nrdgeek: 9:03pm On Aug 02, 2013
KenGali: All these you story will stand if Anambra State Government had said it knew of the actions of Lagos State. As of now the purported documents remain questionable.
We asked for evidence, we've gotten it. Lets hear what Anambra has to say.
Just hope they don't lie again.
Nigerians will lie, even when they've made it halfway through the gate of heaven!! grin grin grin grin
PoliticsRe: Documents Show Lagos Informed Anambra Government Before Alleged Deportation by nrdgeek: 8:45pm On Aug 02, 2013
The facts of the whole case is now obvious except for the intentionally obstinate tribalists.

There was never a "deportation" (fact)
There was no intention to "deport" (fact)
... deportation involves "expulsion" of FOREIGN NATIONALS from a place or country.
"Expulsion" of nationals is called banishment, exile or penal transportation
There was no expulsion, banishment, exile nor penile transportation of anybody, neither was there any intention to do so (fact)
LASG or Fashola, if you will, made his intentions clear throughout the process.
LASG had rehabilitated, housed and fed these persons for several months even before corresponding with Anambra State Govt.(fact)
LASG had invited Anambra officials to come and identify those claiming to be Anambra indigenes since April (fact)

Now, this is where wahala must have started. One state's govt. officials didn't do their jobs properly, on the one hand, while the other state's govt. officials were probably overzealous. Without further evidence showing they agreed time and place of handover, it was wrong for Lagos officials to leave these guys on the bridge in the wee hours of the morning.
LASG started well but probably didn't finish it in a good way. (intentions were kind, clear and in good faith)
Anambra State govt. neglected to properly carry out her duties.
Do we always have to assign blame where our sentiments & emotion lie?

Fingers crossed, as more facts and evidence emerge. Till then, shame on those who never care to take off their tribal lenses, for they shall continue to see every human gesture with a tribal tint.

PoliticsRe: Any State Govt That Ignores Igbos Does So At The Risk Of Its Economy - Suswan by nrdgeek:
XOCONOCHCO: We are not bragging here, what is being said is the truth. Where are the koras you talk about? In this current dispensation the igbos have taken their roles thereby establishing their ingenuity and acumen to posterity. Nigeria's economy is improving. who do you think is fuelling it? Our Problem here is the gross hatred and jealousy exhibited by a 'go back to your village' tribe against another tribe and if these people think igbos will run and leave billions behind then it is clear the SW people are wallowin in self delusion....
Omo Yoruba ni mi, I'm proud to be a full blooded Yoruba man. This however does not make me see facts and ignore them. The truth, by nature, "is" and will be whether we choose to ignore it or not. Igbo's are very good business men, but this does not mean other tribes aren't any good. The Igbo's have been the better (as it stands now), the better at trading to be precise. Trading is the most visible of "businesses" in Nigeria for which Igbo's are notorious. But Nigeria's economy is not anchored on trading alone. Neither is it singularly trading that fuels Nigeria's economy, we all know that oil & gas MOSTLY powers Nigeria's growth!

As a Yoruba, I like and appreciate the business sagacity of Ndi Igbo. I try as much as is possible not to be sentimental or tribalistic in my reasoning, that's why I say, you never know, the next century might belong to the Niger deltans. But be ye warned, the Igbo's are not the be all and end all of business or the economy. The times are changing, thousands of all these trade businesses could be replaced by just one retail chain jointly owned with foreign corporations!
PoliticsRe: Any State Govt That Ignores Igbos Does So At The Risk Of Its Economy - Suswan by nrdgeek: 12:03pm On Aug 01, 2013
The igbo's are very enterprising: this is a fact and nobody is taking it away from them.
I agree the Igbo's have contributed a great deal to the economy of the SW, SS and the whole of the North - it's an undisputable fact and we'll only be fools to disagree.
But for the igbo's to turn around and say that they built Lagos or, that they own Lagos or, that the economy of Lagos will collapse in the event of their exodus is, without being harsh, laughable.

Like I've said before, the igbo's contribute a great deal to Nigeria's economy and I will not be foolish to ignore that. In the same way, I expect the Igbo's not to be so foolish as to think any regions economy so relies on them that it will collapse in their absence (it may falter for a while but there's always someone else who can fill the gap). keep in mind that an economy is not based on trade alone, which is what the Igbo's are visibly known for and for which they notoriously dominate. Even the domination has not always been so and nothing says it has to continue that way forever. (Let the reader pause and think intelligently)

I read where someone on this thread said Igbo's built Kano! Like seriously? shocked huh lipsrsealed Things like this make you really wonder why all the bragging and arrogance? Well, I now know a lot of Nigerians either need to be educated or re educated. Dear Lord, has anyone forgotten about the trans Sahara trade routes? Kano and Hausa merchants have prospered for centuries on this route. Even the Ghana we take for granted now, check your history books, was an empire that prospered on the gold-salt trade on the western axis of the Sahara trade route. According to the Kano chronicles (yes, they were more sophisticated than most of us in the South) Gijimasu, (1095-1194) third king of Kano began building the city walls and his son, Tsaraki (1136-1194) the fifth King completed it. Where were we in the South at this time?

In late colonial and immediate post-colonial period, the majority of trade in old Lagos now dominated by Igbo's were dominated by those Yoruba's called Koras (they included Lebanese, Syrians, Indians and Koreans), while the Brazillians were the engineers and skilled handymen. The indian's are particularly a cased in fact. There are quite a handful of Indian billionaires who have remained for decades in Nigeria and who are silently invested in multi- billion naira industries, yet, you never hear a word from them. Anyone who's lived in the UK will confirm the business accumen of the Indians and Pakistanis. Atimes, I silently mutter to myself "The Indians are taking over the UK!" In America, the Indians are the richest, most educated minority. In fact, a 2009 Forbes report http://www.forbes.com/2009/02/24/bobby-jindal-indian-americans-opinions-contributors_immigrants_minority.html called them "the new Model Minority", a term used in the 60's to describe the Chinese, Japanese and Koreans. Despite all these, the average Indian is quite humble and makes no noise at all. Now we dont even want to mention the business accumen of the Chinese!

Eras and trends come and go, empires rise and empires fall but the people still survive. If one ethnic group thinks it breathes and the others live, then you must live in a fools paradise. Nigerian economy is improving, big corporations are taking a keen interest in Nigeria - at least I've heard rumours of Walmart coming to naija. When this begins to happen, and the silent Yoruba, Hausa and Niger Deltan investors bring these ruthless corporate sharks to their regions, we will see what remains of the one-man businesses the Igbo's and the rest of us ethnic groups wont let each other sleep over (let the reader pause and think intelligently) cry angry

Who knows? The next century might belong to the Niger-deltans!

Let's be humble. Nobody nor any ethnic group is irreplaceable. Fact!

SniperInADiaper: Indeed. Having good light is sometimes better than having a good camera.
How well and truly spoken, little wonder it is often said "it's not the camera, it's the photographer" wink

As a rookie enthusiast myself, I think I've fallen in love with natural light. This free you tube tutorial did it for me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2nNxaBA6ss It appears I'm now seeing the world a little different from others - I always see a photo opportunity. It's a shame though that I'm camera shy when I move around in naija sad

Get Adobe Lightroom, it's the industry standard for photography. "Lightroom" actually is a pun: a digital equivalent of the darkroom used to develop film photography. For more dramatic effects, we all know Adobe Photoshop is THE software.
