Tinfoil: the US SOF are meant to exercise a certain level of operational control. This is a very stupid move by Kenya, giving the us any kind of control of any part of your security will only end up with negative blowback eventually.
This is a country which sponsors regime change all over the world through https://www.ned.org/ (cia). They even turn on their own allies like Thailand using "color revolutions." Americans are involved in one way or another in all conflicts in Africa from the west to East, the only difference is some of their operations have been declassified while others are still classified. Even the weapons and hardware purchased from them come with a certain level of "operational control " . Same to their training programmes. |

NTSA: https://allafrica.com/stories/202008310161.html I meant GSU not KDF from all Africa link.... (The pioneer 18 RRT members "Team 18"
Kenya's first paramilitary police squad dedicated primarily to counter-terrorism operations, then went to the US disguised as individuals on sports scholarship.
"From there, the men were flown to another destination and driven in buses with blacked-out windows so that the trainees could not know the location," the paper adds.
Training
Though the recruits never found out where they were being trained, many suspected they were at Annapolis Naval Academy in Maryland.
A former senior US official with direct knowledge of the programme said they were also likely taken to the CIA training facility at Camp Peary, near Williamsburg in Virginia, also known as "The Farm".
The team received training from CIA contractors, former special operations forces and SWAT team members of the US police in tactical operations, close-quarter combat, weapons handling, reconnaissance, surveillance and intelligence gathering.
The men also undertook several courses with names such as "Renditions Operations Training" and "Disruption Operations", according to the report in the Daily Maverick. |

I'd trust that writer Nick Turse- he wrote "Kill anything that moves " back in 2013 about the real American war in Vietnam. Truly every US commander would've been imprisoned UNDER the jail for what they did. https://allafrica.com/stories/202008310161.htmlI meant GSU not KDF from all Africa link.... kikuyu1: Somebody is thinking! Though it takes time for operators to get used to they're ideal for the environment. They provide a height advantage enabling the rider to see farther than enemy on foot and are faster to search an area while being less tiring. Apparently the idea to re-introduce camel patrol was conceived sometime back in 2018 some officers traveled to India to learn how they are employed in border policing along the 1400km Indo Pakistan border. The pioneer unit which is under AP Border patrol consists of fifty camels that were trained in Isiolo . The Brits previously had camel corps based in Wajir during colonial era . |

NTSA: Winning hearts and minds is a concept occasionally expressed in the resolution of war/ insurgency, and other conflicts, in which one side seeks to prevail not by the use of superior force, but by making emotional or intellectual appeals to sway supporters of the other side. Human Intelligence (HUMINT) is also shared during such engagements for further processing. |
