To correct the bold assertion, OGD hasn't left Atiku. He was appointed DG of Atiku campaign, election has come and gone. He supported Dapo, as against Amosun's candidate and also played a part in GNI electoral concession to Dapo. OGD remain in PDP still.
To correct your assertion...
OGD might not have left Atiku but he has quit politics and no longer a member of PDP.
All his followers in fact his structure has been absorbed into APC.
He only went neutral to save face...

Read this and stop making a fool of yourself:

Olorunfemi v Asho
This is yet another case in which the Supreme Court took the bold position to set aside its earlier decision. The Supreme Court set aside its judgment delivered in January 8, 1999 on the ground that, it failed to consider the respondents’ cross–appeal before allowing the appellant’s appeal.

Johnson v Lawanson
Coker J.S.C. delivering the court’s judgment held that “when the court is faced with the alternative of perpetuating what it is satisfied is an erroneous decision which was reached per incuriam and will, if followed, inflict hardship and injustice upon the generations in the future or of causing temporary disturbances of rights acquired under such a decision, I do not think we shall hesitate to declare the law as we find it.” The court then ordered that the appeal be re-heard de novo by another panel of Justices of the Supreme Court.

There's no way the court will reverse it's decision, this will lead to more issues in the future.....
The PDP and it's lawyers will receive fines in excess of 60million for wasting the time of the judges even requesting for adjournment on a frivolous case....

Although the PDP has a valid case, they ought to have done this before the delivery of judgement. When Uzodinma's lawyers were presenting their case, they never objected cos they saw no sense in it...
Now judgement has been delivered, you now want to object....
It's NEVER done

The only country China should ban are travellers from Iran. Iran has not been responsible in delealing with this crisis.

Hello everyone,

Nairaland has helped me in the past while trying to get a UK student visa for myself, so I'm here for an advise concerning my brother who wants to come to the UK with a visiting visa to attend my wedding.

Here is the background of the whole situation.

My brother first applied for UK visiting visa in 2008 to visit our mother (who is a British Citizen) and he was refused even though he was studying at the time in Nigeria.

He applied again for UK visiting visa in 2012, and he was again refused stating reasons for the refusal was because he does not have any ties back in Nigeria but then he was doing his Youth Service.

In 2017, our mother thought it was best for him to come for his Masters in the UK. Unfortunately, he was again refused on grounds that he was not a genuine student.
We challenged the UKVI's decision via a Judicial Review through a dodgy Nigerian lawyer and the appeal was refused.

So back to my main reason for coming to this great forum.
My wedding will be in April 2020 and I will like my brother to be at my wedding in the UK. I will also be providing my wedding invite to him for his application.

He had started working in November 2019 and by the time he will be applying he would have only spent 5 Months in his present employment.
Either my mum or myself will be sending him an invitation letter and accommodation will not be a problem for him likewise financial sustainability.

So I just want an advise from the good people in this forum what are my brother's chances of getting a visiting visa if he put in an application around 2nd of April 2020.

Can someone please advice me on this.

@justwise
My response is for him to strengthen his ties to Nigeria...

U too sit down

Let me remind u that, in the case of Rivers the INEC witness both primaries , the issues arises with various contradicting court orders on whom is the right chaiman among both factions... The reason the all court decleared APC has no candidate....a house divided against itself cannot stand ... As from next week expects more court orders in Edo state, don't forget 14 lawmakers loyal to Oshobaba are still hanging on the air.... Infact , indirectly , INEC warn them to stop allowing court to decide for them... And that's how Edo will go, many lawyers and running to Edo for the money.... Obaseki with the Edo treasury will get all court orders to stop Oshomole thesame way he did against the NAS....ccongrats to PDP in advance...

Enwhen:
Obaseki is more favoured in what ever ways, as a Gov. , and if APC messed up, it's a big congratulations to the PDP as in Zamfara , Rivers . Because presently, the Edo APC chairman loyal to Gov Obaseki has been suspended by the National body of APC while the chairman of the national body of APC has been suspended by the Edo state LG chairmen of APC.... It will be a big task if APC survive this, as it stand , No candidate will be recognized by INEC as both factions will go get court injuction just like Rivers and zamfara and as things are going Oshomole would rather allow the opposition to have their way than allows Obaseki second term, just like he did in Zamfara at the onset...Congrats in advance to the PDP...
Sit down there...

All Oshiomole needs to do is to ensure that INEC attends the primary that he organizes.
According to INEC, the national Secretariat is in charge of primaries....
Ask Amosun and Ambode.....
The only options left for Obaseki is for him to defect to PDP or get Oshiomole sacked as national chairman...

In one of my shifts as a resident a woman once gave birth through CS and after discharge and she was supposed to be healing, her abdominal cavity was swelling up and painful and the area in the abdomen that was stitched was bleeding and pus was coming out. She was rushed in when her hubby felt something was not right and a CT scan was ordered. There in the abdominal cavity were some unusual foreign bodies which in a normal human viscera shouldn't be there. She was put into the theatre for an operation and immediately she was opened up there in the abdominal cavity were two gauze sponges used to soak up the bleeding but retained after the CS with massive antibody-antigen reaction taking place there. It was horrible but thank God she lived she was lucky enough sepsis did not occur
Was this in Abeokuta?

Hi all,

Please I need advise on how to apply for my mum-in law.

First application successful. and was given 6months visa. She left a week to the visa expiration date.

Second application refused because she stated she was going to stay 3 weeks in her first application but stay about 5 months

Third application refused for the previous reason again and we said she had £1k available for her travel but did not provide evidence of this.

My questions are
how do we make a successful application for her.

Can we make a 2 year visit visa application or 6 months again?

All advice is welcomed.
You need to explain why she spent 5 months instead of 3 weeks.
Without a convincing explanation, she might not enter the UK again.
I know of someone who spent 3 months instead of 2 weeks...
My guy has applied and appealed more than 3ce, all na rejection.

The name on APC ballot will be Iyamu.
