More often than not, I’ve seen people getting mixed up between crocodiles and alligators. While they both belong to the Crocodilia order, they are members of two quite separate taxonomic families. Besides, alligators DO NOT live in Africa!

The following highlights the major differences between the two species.

Overview

– You can’t see an alligator’s teeth when its mouth is closed; its lower teeth fit snugly into pits in the upper jaw. In contrast, a crocodile’s lower teeth are always visible.

– Alligators have a broad snout, while crocodiles have a thinner snout.

– Alligators tend to be grayish black in color, whereas crocodiles have a olive green or brown appearance.

– Alligators can only be found in the southeastern United States and in some parts of China. Crocodiles can be found all over the world

A more contrasting mix up found especially here on nairaland is the mix up between monitor lizards and alligators, especially owing to the fact that one of our most loved admin here loves his reptilian fantasies grin

As already stated, alligators are not found in Africa, so my beloved nlanders, anything you kill that looks like a big lizard , is a monitor lizard and not an alligator, and anything you kill that looks like a crocodile is actually a crocidile and not an alligator grin

saw a lady looking like a ghost, she was so mysterious..never seen a human so unhuman..she didnt look like a human at all...

from her point of entery to the market, dat was how everybody was picking four forty, children cried and scampered away..at a point, elderly woman started begging her to go away that she has scattered the market. after some time, were she entered nobody knew..just went like dat..

sometime ago, some of d market gaurds tenderd their resignation bfor d market board, when asked deir reasons, the said for abouy a week to then, at midnight the hear strange sounds from some blocks of d market, when dey go dere to inspect, dey see d doors open and hearing voices screaming "buy me", "buy me"...but by morning, d doors re seen locked as if nofin happened.

the shiit got too real so they had to resign.

there is this one we encountered often in the north dose days though I dnt know the authenticity of whatever/whoever is behind a white linen.

but u see a manlike figure walking around a big mans house continuously all through the night..white clothes from back of the head downwards, face is flat,as in no face, no nose ,mouth, eyes. just a flat bump of skin.

we were told that they were conjured by big men esp ex soldiers to gaurd their house against thiefs and fetish attackers. they were never known to have talked or communed with anyone..and dose days when we see such from our windows far off, na to enter under pillow till morning ooh..lol

if you read his earlier responses, he said the idea of the abortion is not his and he is still confused.

he stated clearly that he wants to keep the child and is ready in all ramifications for fatherhood, thus prompting my advice to stand his ground as the man in the mix.

and you here talking about my lifestory being different from his..dude can u actually comprehend or u just felt like bashing somewan. so if someone here asks for a prescription for suicide, you would give it to him because ur life story is different.
