stop derailing this thread, this Corolla is a European version of Corolla with 1.4L Engine mostly, majority come as RHD, depending starting price is 1.350m in Nigeria.

As at 2015 the gear box U250E was 120k, you have to work with a variable here, it is likely to have gone up due to the economy or come down because of low demand.

Lexus ES 2004 to 06 uses 250E (U151E) ES300 uses U150E

Both gears are different. From what I can gather the U151E is not a problematic transmission at all, it is used in several Toyotas with 1MZ and 3MZ engines though FWD models like sienna 04 to 10, RX330, Highlander etc and the price is generally unknown on NL because it rarely develops faulty except when abused.

if yours is faulty check with your maintenance or technician

Some of the zafira cars have been playing that route before I bought my sienna and they are still in good shape even better looking than my car not surprised it's an highway devoid of mad okada riders, crazy Keke owners and devilish vanagon drivers.

I can vouch for Opel as a good car anyday anytime, I have had encounter with it in the north too so F**k Toyota grin

Well since you are hell bent on buying the escape hybrid I would give you a short version of my opinion grin

The Ford escape hybrid debuted in 05 and ran to 07 for US and canada.

The hybrid system has a remarkable resemblance to the Toyota hybrid system but Ford built it from scratch when they noticed it was identical to Toyota system to avoid lawsuit they went to Toyota for patent sharing, they gave something of theirs inorder for Toyota to look the other way.

in essence the system looks exactly like Toyota own but wasn't built or certified by toyota engineers.

Now if I was to buy the escape I would pick one manufactured in 06 or 07 because 05 was the first year and first ever hybrid from Ford so they would have perfected some experiment done in 05 for 06 and 07 model year.

The hybrid uses the 2.3L MZR engine made by Mazda. Ford calls it the duratec engine added to it is an electric motor. Now the Engine is fitted into Mazda B-series, Mazda MPV, Ford focus, Ford ranger. Not only these cars but with this one's I can say the 2.3L duratec shouldn't give you an headache that much.

Hybrid is a bit complicated than normal Otto engine, so you have to take care of it and utilize quality parts, brakes, fluids and drive train belts.

The Opel zafira would perform better than a Toyota picnic, Avanza, sienna, Previa, Avensis verso infact add all Toyota mini van join they have nothing against the zafira.

Don't buy 4x4 or 2az engine.

The last person I know who used the Ford escape hybrid of that model year used it for 1 year then abandoned it for like 3 years and finally sold it to iron condemn people.

if you must buy hybrid buy from someone who has studied the technology (Toyota hybrid vehicles)

Wii joystick is the remote and non chuks, the Nintendo game cube pad works but only for game cube games.

The games are bound online can be downloaded when the Wii is hacked. I can download the games though if I see a serious buyer.

Any vehicle registered, either commercial or private (registration) for the purpose of haulage of people or goods is required to have hackney permit.

Recently, most commercial vehicle owners have preferred to opt for private registration and obtain hackney permit as a license to carry goods or passengers. Reason is the current high cost of road worthinesss which will give them only six months if registered with commercial numbered plate.

I don't use the vehicle for commercial purpose, any goods it carries is mine but I always ensure the goods don't show through the window cause FRSC can tag the vehicle as cargo vehicle.

Even the government staffs can't know haulage sienna from none but should take the word of the driver as truth as long as that road is there jurisdiction and they don't see me carry load up and down that route

My mechanic on the da. underneath the car scratched ground advised me to take out the battery overnight that if the check engine light comes on by the morning I put it back, it means I should bring it to scan otherwise it's minor and has probably cleared. I did that and the light hasn't turned on since then but the car sometimes vibrates when it's on idle like it's struggling to stay on. It has even gone off once but started immediately. I also think its fuel consumption became high three days after the scratch. No weird noise or smoke.
Please what do you make of this? I read somewhere that the car needs to relearn. 2005 Highlander I4

idle relearn for that Highlander year? never heard of that, but drive the car till the check engine comes on and scan.

We will work with the scan, also ensure your exhaust isn't leaking due to the scratch

Let me start from the beginning and be detailed.

I drive a sienna 2000, the document is in my mum's name and the driver license and documents share same surname.

I was hauling 50 cartons of biscuit the receipt is in my name, you can't know I am carrying biscuit unless you peep into the vehicle and no my glass is clear not tinted. I hope we are on the same page? grin

I was flagged down by yellow fever women, I parked and greet ask for my documents and I handed it over, she now said where is your hackney permit I told her it's my personal car a private vehicle she now flared up that she was gonna delay me fuming and all but my passenger a female talked to her and she let us go Sha.

Before that one, VIO stopped me at Epe and asked for all ask able lights (reverse, brake, side indicator etc) after they saw my paper was complete I was carrying full load my friends from work, they now said I had a private number and was running commercial operation, I explained to him Sha and he asked me to indicate names of some passenger, when I said a funny nickname of one passenger he laughed and asked me to go.

I have noticed that sometimes when I reach bus stops some agbero would also run banging the car saying "make we shadow, shey make we shadow" even passengers do rush to the door shouting all kinds of area.

Is the sienna categorized as a commercial vehicle in Nigeria?

Also a private vehicle used to carry personal goods, should it also have hackney permit?
