When we gave you quit notice in the North, why was your father begging? Why didn't Igbos keep their pride intact and call last leave the North?

Look at this picture very well and weep for your coming generations. You are masters of no one, slaves of everyone

So you can go this low? Shame on you.

You carried picture of another event and use it to tell lies? You are a disgrace to your generation

Igbos are parasite yet your northern governors visited south east states to beg us when your useless youths made their empty threats.

Did any SE governor beg you people? Did Ohaneze President General beg you. Even IPOB people that caused what happened didnt beg you till now

Buhari left London hospital where he was in terrible health condition and rushed back to come and tell us that we are one Nigeria.

Why dont you do away with us if we are parasites as you are claiming?.. keep deceiving yourself boy.

This your argument is just too dumb. No facts, no figures, just nursery school chidren talks of my daddy has this, your daddy doesn't have that.

Every region makes its contribution and you can get your fact from FAAC. The oil producing states conttibute the highest, then Lagos, then Northern states before any mention of eastern states.

Before you argue, get your facts because you just opened this thread to shoot your whole tribe in the foot and end up looking stupid.

Ok so now you have changed the argument from- Igbos contribute nothing to Igbos contribute less? You people are not serious.

Mr fact , lets agree that north contrributes more than Igbos but does it make sense since your region is the poverty-capital-of-Nigeria.. Of what use is iit for Igbos if we contribute much to Nigeria and be the poverty-capital-of-Nigeria? Abeg commot for road. Are we mumu?

So which crude oil are you producing in the SE? is it that one that can't power 1.5 kva barber generator for 5 hrs? Even Ondo whose crude oil output more than triple the insignificant tiny crude in your place don't make noise.

Also, you import and pay tax, is it because of paying taxes you import? Dont you make profits? The profit you make, do you share it with Nigerians? Besides, is anyone begging you to import? Stop it today and see multitude take it up and start importing original foreign items instead of these fake China made everywhere. Imagine, I lost my phone charger, after buying about 8 different fake chargers, I had to later go buy an original phone just to get an original charger.

If Nigeria has to be importing the agricultural produce being cultivated in the north, you think there wont be import duties which will ultimately be borne by the final consumers? That alone saves our scarce forex, reduces the prices of the produce, highly reduced artificiality (rubber rice comes to mind), good proximity of raw materials to manufacturers, to mention just a few. You even admit that northern agricultural practices has provided job opportunities for igbos who now act as middlemen in the distribution chain, yet you are here typing bunkum. Which job did your importation provide for any tribe in Nigeria? The way the northerners freely allow you to be involved in their business, can same be said of you to any tribe at all

Now, for the oil, take a look at the graph and see what you are making noise about. Can that quantity of oil power a business centre generator for 2 hrs?

Gerrout of here.

You just wrote rubbish here. ```

My point still remains that the money you make in your agriculture goes into private pockets just like the money igbos make in their businesses. Set yout brain right please and read my post well.

Whether our crude cannot power a small generator or not does not change the fact that the money goes into Fg pocket and makes it part of our contribution.

And i still maintain that your agric and even gold goes to private pocket so what moral ground do you to pretend as if your agric money goes into FG pocket like oil? You left the points i made and started writing senseless things..

And whether you like it or not, the custom duty and other taxes we pay for importation is a contribution,. It goes into FG pocket and it is part of the money used in running Nigeria.

Unfortunately your poverty- capital- of- Nigeria region cannot near us in trade or business and thats why we are able to buy off your produce from you.

Honestly you people dont have any option than to sell them to us so stop typing like a confused person since you have no reasonable defence to make forr your poverty --capital- of- Nigeria region

My dear i tire for northerners here..

Them that gets school admission by quota system is asking us (SE) that gets admission by merit what we contribute to Nigeria. Quite a shame.

A lot of their graduates cannot get multinational jobs or international appointment like the South because they lack the merit there organizations require.

Thats why you see them flood government jobs where their employment and promotions can be easily manipulated

Politics / Re: A Need To Bring Peaceful Co-existence Among The Igbo’s And Hausa’s by Nwadiuto247: 5:46pm On Apr 16, 2020
NugwaIce:
Nigerian is a country whose major tribe is Igbo, Hausa and the Yoruba’s. A country that is so productive and active in doing businesses with other international countries.
Every ethnicity believes in the authenticity of their culture and tribe. There has been this dispute between the Igbo’s and Hausa’s for a long period of time. The fight of superiority has been the order of the day.
An average Igbo man believes that Hausa men are useless and foolish. Whenever someone that is not from Yoruba land but from the middle belt region of Nigeria goes to the Eastern part of the country, an Igbo man will believe that since you are not a Yoruba man that you are an Hausa man therefore they will treat you badly and will not allow you to do some basic things which you ought to do in their town or city.
In the Eastern part of Nigeria, it is believed that if you are not an Igbo, you will not be given opportunity to work. When employment vacancy is announces, it’s only the Igbo’s that will be invited to the job interview.
https://gnewsnaija..com/2020/04/a-need-to-bring-peaceful-coexistence.html

Igbos dont hate Hausa.

Its the Fulani herdsmen killing that is major issue now.

Also the religious issues

It baffles me when northerners claim that their agriculture business is a contribution to Nigeria while Igbos contribute nothing.

The agricultural produce that the north is selling is personal businesses and the profit goes into the pockets of the individuals who own the businesses so stop comparing ii with proceeds from oil sales.

The money from crude oil goes into the government pocket and shared by all the states. Meanwhile the money you make from the gold in your region goes into private pockets in the north. This is how you people have been cheating the south for several years now. Too bad..

Your agricultural money is the same thing with the money an igbo business man is making from his business. They pay various government taxes so please stop deceiving yourself that your agriculture is a contribution like the oil money to Nigeria.

Even the agriculture business you claim you are doing has been hijacked by the Igbos. We buy up your produce and sell to other parts of Nigeria..

We import things and pay custom duties and taxes to the federal government so whenever you hear that the Nigerian Custom generates six billion naira every week, pls let it sink into your head that Igbo man money is part of it.

The Igbo business men in your regions pay daily/weekly/yearly taxes to your local and states government so stop disgracing yourselves here pls.

We also have three oil producing states and they contribute oil money too. Even if our oil money contribution is not as big as the other states, it is still a contribution

Its important for we all to know that the economy of this country came to its sorry state as far back as 1979-1983,because of the conspiracy of the losers of the civil war to bring down the economy of the country to its kneels through the policy of DESTRUCTIVE IMPORTATION,which was done through the vp as at that time who was saddled with the responsibility of managing the economy,in connaivance with his economic adviser,by taken advantage of the then president .
You all will agree with me that as at that time the exchange rate of the naira to the pound sterling was at per while the naira to the dollars was above per,and Nigeria had a favourable balance of payment because the economy was awashed with petro-dollars.
Unfortunately, instead of the government at that to invest adequately on its human and natural resources,it WICKEDLY supported this detrimental policy which recked havoc to the economy and led to the near total collapse of the real sector of the economy.
This now bring me to the question of what

Politics / How ASUU Can Settle Issue With Fg by Nwadiuto247: 5:55pm On Apr 14, 2020
Muhammad Bashir Abdulrazaq writes:

I have a solution to this ASUU vs Government/Public problem. A solution which will make everybody happy and make Nigerian universities like those of UK.

Let us stop asking government to fund Universities by injecting N220 billion per year which acrued to N1.1 trillion because government refused to honour its promise. That is greediness. Let us adopt the UK model and collect registration fees of at least N2,000,000 (around £4,000) from citizens who want to have a degree and about N5,000,000 (around £10,000) from non-citizens.

By doing this, the government will be happy we will not be asking them to fund Universities which every Dick and Harry can afford. They will have more billions to renovate their offices and buy exotic cars.

The Universities will have more fund to pay lecturers so as to slow down the brain drain in Nigerian Universities, where the good lecturing materials are taken away by oil companies and foreign institutions.

The Universities can equip their laboratories and fund more advanced researches to be able to stand shoulder to shoulder with Universities of International standard. This will even attract private institutions to give research funding to the Universities.

Anybody who can not afford that can go and work as a restaurant waiter, taxi driver, etc. There are a lot of alternatives to life.

If you still insist, you can take bank loan of about N10,000,000 for a four year degree which after interest you will pay at least N12,000,000. This means after the degree if you get a job of N100,000 per month, you can be paying the bank N50,000 per month. With this plan, you can pay the loan in just 20 years of your working life. After that, you will have a whole ten or so years to buy house, car, invest and plan for retirement.

With this solution, ASUU will not have to ask government for better funding or University autonomy which comes with this IPPIS issue. Universities will be declared a revenue generating institutions and therefore needs not join IPPIS just like customs, NNPC etc. By the way, at the end of each year we can declare losses just like NNPC.

The system can also be tweaked such that part of the benefits of being a lecturer is that your kids can study for free in the Universities.

The public that is so much concerned about ASUU's greediness will be automatically satisfied. The elite will also be happy that their children will be able to study in high standard University without having to mix with commoners. Lecturers will get their wish of better funding. Problem solved everybody is happy.

Copied!

Using people's lives to score political points. One Yoruba clown on twitter even proclaimed "Lagos Leads" Too bad mehn.

Oga reason well pls.

The governors and other leaders handling this situation in Nigeria are all politicians.

Our politicians have failed us over the years so there is nothing wrong in discussing how they handle issues concerning us.

The world has gone far in hitech and online platforms are one of the places we use to voice our opinion to them so i dont get your point,

when we discuss their performances, those who are not doing well read to their shame while the ones doing well are encouraged.

You need to change your mindset so as not to be reading negative in things that are positive,

Have you noticed how many pastors and men of god are still holding services even though they know their members could become infected with coronavirus and even die ? Have you wondered why?

Well let me tell you why. Because of $$$$$. Many charlatans stand to lose huge amounts of revenue from TITHES and OFFERINGS if members do not come to church.

Many so called men of God will suffer from anxiety and panic attacks, they will try to call this plague a hoax to encourage members to still attend church. They have no empathy or love for the members of their churches, it was and is always about $$$$.

These guys are going to lose big time in possessions and money and guess what? It is only the beginning of God’s judgement on their robbery, lies, sexual perversion and wickedness. Judgement will start with them.

The men have refused to let Gods people GO so he will wrench them out of their wicked business centres and punish them severely.

This is only the beginning.

Most churches held online service today so stop saying what you dont know.

In my opinion, when lecturers go on strick, say for two weeks over non payment of salaries, they should eventually be paid half for that month of strick because they didn't work for half the month. It's unfair that they will work half month, eventually get paid full month while the students loose their time. It's not balanced.

So your brain did not tell you that they will still cover all that they did not teach during the strike?

You think they would jump the curriculum because of strike?

You pay them half salary meanwhile they still covered what they didnt teach during the strike, is that a fair judgment?
