StBlack1: Haha 50% . No be 50, you may as well add a zero & make it 500% . !

Ill continue to say this: Either you support SW for a new parliamentary system and then Regionalism WHERBY it will be able to do anything with the only resourse it has as leverage: its LAND, or you keep mute. You want more derivation(or even 100% derivation), fine. BUT, you also gatta support SW to control its taxes , land, etc.

In as much the people of the South continue in their sense of reluctance to help the West garner support for Regionalism, which also comes with a high degree of autonomy over our resources (mostly in economic or natural resourse measure) , then all this is child's play. !

West for Regionalism (with autonomy).
SS for 50%, 100%, 1000000% , or wateva.
SE for their Biafra or wateva....

GBAM! Business. You want your oil, then give others their leverage too!

...asides this, NO VOTES FROM SW.!
How can anybody support Lagos and its extortion racket (aka taxation)

I like this statement:

“Let the North explore resources available to them like zinc, diamond, iron ore and many others and claim their derivation,”
Politics › Igbo Group Backs 50% Derivation by NwaNimo1(op): 8:08pm On Jul 12, 2014
Ndigbo Unity Forum has thrown its weight behind the agitation for the adoption of 50 percent derivation for revenue coming from oil.

The President of the forum, Mr. Augustine Chukwudum, said on Saturday that nothing short of 50 per cent would be acceptable.

Chukwudum was responding to the deadlocked deliberations on the issue of derivation at the National Conference.

“And the derivation should shared this way, 20 percent for host states; 20 per cent for oil producing local government areas; and 10 percent for oil producing communities,” he said.

The NUF leader berated the North for trying to stall deliberations on derivation and warned them against thinking that Nigeria was their personal estate.

Enjoining those opposed to derivation to take a trip to the Niger Delta to appreciate the level of destruction oil exploration has caused, Chukwudum said the north should stop taking the south for granted.

“Let the North explore resources available to them like zinc, diamond, iron ore and many others and claim their derivation,” he said

The corruption of a particular ethnic group is what's killing Nigeria. . . . .

And the ability of that ethnic group to successfully subjugate and corrupt another corrupt ethnic group doesn't help matters.

azimibraun: How is a Minister appointed in Nigeria? Secondly, I think the aviation ministry and indsury requires ppl who have almost giving their lives to that sectorj inorterword ppl who follow the industry closely as practitioners and experts. If a minister is duely appointed for the aviation ministry, I expect to see aviation, aviation, aviation in his or her CV more than. Special adviser this special adviser that on non aviation matters. Your criminal governors have looted the anambra state treasury dry. When are you also running to Lagos in search of a better life?

Putz !
Your ignorance is quite shocking to see and hear . . . . . .but please - keep it up!

PS: Did anybody watch 'Slum Survivors' on the BBC yesterday featuring Lagos as usual?

See link below - 'Lagos is officially defined as a 'Slum' and not a 'City' - bloody embarrassing!

‘Slum Survivors’ follows three teenage amateurs as they head to slums across the world to spend 10 days with the people who do the jobs they want to do in a very different environment.

Season 1, Episode 1 – “Mechanics in Lagos”
This week three aspiring mechanics compete for a position back home, as they work alongside the mechanics of Lagos in Africa. Muj, a 17 year old student is happy to of never worked a day in his life. Kayleigh is 18 and loves cars and Sean aged 19 is disheartened after applying for 300 jobs and getting nowhere.

lakhadimar: Look at this accursed nyamiri b.stard.

Your worthless governor took 30 lawmakers from your no-do-good state to a frivolous trip in Europe while you are here on nairaland, a yoruba owned website, ranting like a mad dog.

Dont worry my own state law makers would soon pass a legislative bill ordering for the deportation of you flatheaded ibo lowlifers back to the jungles of umuleri.

Schnook !
Bush man - America is not in Europe.

Politics › Re: Why Gov Obiano Took 30 Anambra Lawmakers To US by NwaNimo1(m): 4:54pm On Jul 08, 2014
Chino72: The cost of sponsoring each law-maker to US for 3days is cheaper than buying an Innoson SUV! I saw the travel budget myself. Remember Obiano is an accountant who was an auditor general to Texaco worldwide for nearly 10years. He is smarter than all the law-makers put together! Obiano is even dangerously frugal than Obi, this is what people do not know yet. Let him win the whole state then you will see his true color on frugality!
Na boat dey go charter?

Cost per head (for 1 week) should be between $3000 - $10,000. (which ain't actually that much considering)

I'd expect they traveled business class and stayed in nothing less than a 5 star hotel and had a 'little' pocket money.

But as long as they have returned motivated to transform Anambra - then its all good.

Pishures or . . . . . .

(PS: Most of the new administration have either lived in the US or have family there; therefore the travel costs were likely to be moderate)

(If the trip was to London - well that's another matter)
Business › Re: US Overtakes Saudi Arabia, Russia As Largest Oil Producer by NwaNimo1(m): 12:15pm On Jul 07, 2014
. . . they cant print anymore money to take other countries oil anymore. (the trillions they owe is ridiculous)

If they continue to print dollars it deflates the currency more.

Therefore they started production again from their vast reserves.

The dollars all these so called oil producing countries have been collecting for their oil is as good as useless.

The Chinese knew this sometime back hence the reason they spent the money quickly - normally in developing countries and exchange the dollars for natural resources.

Geopolitics - what everyone must study.
