I think people some people calling d doctors greedy or feeling that they should involve other health care workers in the strike action are myopic. The doctors on strike are RESIDENT DOCTORS, meaning doctors under training to become specialists. What they are asking for is better funding for their programs, so they can be better trained and offer quality care to patients. They are not asking for salary increase.
They are also not permanent staff like the consultants or other health workers WHO ARE NOT UNDER TRAINING
