Insecurity belongs to the Beta male, Believe it or not - he has a big ego. But it backfires on him b'cos he is too sensitive and insecure regarding everyone's opinion of him. So he constantly is trying to prove to himself by qualifying or stating his qualifications. {Exactly what Shuga's Ex must have been doin}.

Alpha male never feels like he must prove himself. His ego is his ally.

Here is the truth: Big
egos are a result of low-esteem, lack of control over emotions, too many females feelings. A

If I think someone (doesn't matter who he is) is wrong, I'd say it, but at the same time try not to be rash about it (unless he is too arrogant). Now here is where the alpha male is different, he often preys on the seeming weak and would shout it out so everyone can see that he is right and the other person is wrong. It's all about keeping appearances, which I do not care much about. Anyway, everyone is free to be anything he or she wants to be.
