Was discussing faith and logic with someone recently, hence my interest on this topic.

If it is logical and proven then then there is no need for faith. We only need faith to accept what we can not explain or understand as truth.

For example the concept on omnipresent and omniscient attributes of God can never be explained or understand by any logical mind. We just have to believe God is everywhere and knows everything including our secret thoughts. That is faith.

Let just say we are too limited as human to understand all spiritual things. So we believe and follow God by faith.

^The inflation we've been having is not because of introduction of new currency notes but because of poor management of our economy, inflation increases even when new currencies are not introduced.

Also coins are not the problem, but management of our currency and economy. £2 is a coin and that is more than our N500.

While am indifferent about the introduction of N5,000 notes, I still believe the fear of it's introduction causing inflation is exaggerated. If well managed it shouldn't cause inflation especially now that Nigeria is tending more and more to a cashless society.

Also you comparison of Naira to US dollar does not count. $100 = N16,000. I will rather lose a N5000 bill than lose a $100 bill.

There is also no reason you pay N5000 for N4,000 or less valued goods and services, no one should be that foolish. Introduction of N5,000 notes does not remove N1000, N500, N100 notes from circulation.

onomeasike: Deji is so wonderful and I can never ever forget his graphical illustration to proof that Mobadeyo Awosika(?),the late Firstbank exec,was killed by drunk bribe seeking-policemen at Lekki roundabout despite repeated denials by the policemen that killed the man.That presentation swayed public sentiments in favour of a call for inquest into the man's death and this eventually confirmed that the man was killed by a drunk policemen who then set his corpse and car on fire to give a false impression that mobadeyo died in an accident!

Deji went on to do that investigative reportage on the deteriorating state of Lagos flyover bridges which resulted into the eventual repair work carried out by govt on 3rd mainland bridge that year!I once saw him in boladale street,oshodi chatting so with a guy and I was impressed with his unassuming nature.The downside of his stay at channels,is that,he struggles hard to impress me with the cowardly 'sit-on-the-fence' approach of channels even when they should be on the people's side like AIT or print media outfits like Punch newspaper.
Before,I was tired of channels,now I wont bother.I will tune to nairaland and saharareporters

How can one even forget the way he exposed the former Ibadan political strongman; Adedibu over his entitlement to a percentage of Oyo state security vote claim. I heard Late Adedibu declared he must not sight him anywhere in Oyo state after that. Deji is a brilliant and courageous chap.

Bear in mind that what you ICME is doing is also gong to affect many honest businesses online. To a large extent successful businesses require a great deal of TRUST. But you ICME is making it difficult for people to trust others. Your kind is the reason some think it is bad to do business with Nigerians. You ICME give genuine others a bad name.

I took interest in the threads involving damola1 and you ICME. While am so proud of damola1, I feel so disappointed in you ICME. But you can change all these if you refund Boson's money asap.
