Which tribe is a Turkish or Emirati airline associated with? Hausas? If so, how? I do not follow the logic of how this is discriminatory.
I think he is referring to directive of the minister for the airlines to consider Enugu instead of Abuja. So the Mallam think she has an ethnic agenda since the minister is from South East. |

Why I Left Channels Television – Deji Bademosi Opens Up https://cdn.informationnigeria.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/DEJI-BADMOSI.jpg?9d7bd4 It was surprising to hear that the Award winning TV reporter, and the cruiser of Politics Today, Deji Bademosi, has left John Momoh’s Channels Televison. It was noticed he was not of late at the top of his game, but no one knew what was really brewing underground. Deji was a little reluctant and relaxed like someone no longer ‘involved’. Now it’s clear that all was not well at all, at least following his resignation. Giving an hint into the power-play that goes on in Channels TV, which is nothing different from many other media houses, Deji said, “Though I cannot describe it as official high-handedness but I think people deserve respects…. On several occasions they tried to personalize issues.”Deji, who resigned his appointment Friday, described the several awards that his reportage won as enviable and proud moments in the organization. “I will say it was a wonderful moment and that was when things really went well and I was appreciated and got the support of the top management staff. “The bad side? Yes, I will describe as when we lost some staff and things went bad for the company and one could not get the support of the management. It was the time things were not really going well between one and the management. “Of course I had fun when the going was good but when the problem started one could not but find it difficult to explain why certain action were taken,” he revealed. http://www.informationnigeria.org/2012/08/why-i-left-channels-television-deji-bademosi-opens-up.html |

Nigeria Railway Corporation to commence full services on Lagos-Kano line The Nigerian Railway Corporation says it has rehabilitated 117 engines and coaches. The Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC) will soon commence full services on its Lagos-Kano route, the Managing Director, Seyi Sijuade, has said. He said the recent successful rehabilitation of 117 engines and coaches would enable the corporation to resume haulage and passenger services on the Lagos-Kano line.Mr. Sijuade said this in Minna on Sunday while rolling out the first phase of the rehabilitated engines and coaches for the Minna-Kaduna daily train services.“The Lagos-Kano service will start in a few weeks’ time and we intend to ply the route twice a week,” he said. Represented by the Director of Operations, Niyi Ali, the managing director attributed the successful restoration of train services in parts of the country to the “ingenuity of the corporation’s engineers and technicians”. He said that the effort of the staff in refurbishing the engines and coaches locally had helped to save cost.“We are going back to the good old days, where everything was done in-house. “A lot of these equipment are specialised equipment acquired by the corporation, but we are looking forward to a time when our staff will produce these things locally and we are starting now. “Compared to contract cost, these in-house refurbishments will save us a lot of money. It’s not just about the immediate savings, we are also talking about the long term benefits when we learn to do everything in-house,” he said. In his remarks, the Niger Commissioner for Transport, Abubakar Ahmed, appealed to the federal government to rehabilitate and upgrade the Baro railway line. “We are aware that the federal government is dredging the Baro River and the road there is terribly bad. So we are calling on the federal government to rehabilitate and upgrade the Baro railway station to aid the movement of people and goods,” he said. He said that the state government is working with the railway corporation to enhance rail services in the state. http://premiumtimesng.com/news/97831-nigeria-railway-corporation-to-commence-full-services-on-lagos-kano-line.html |
kay9: @OAM4J: See? And just like u, i also did not see this fella's comment before suggesting putting the money elsewhere. The comment is from the link u posted. No, in the contrary what Sanusi said was that the cost of printing and managing currency will also reduce. Billions are spent printing the existing ones yearly. Imagine printing N1tr in N100 notes and N1tr in N5000 notes; which will be cheaper? In the long run Nigeria will be saving money printing N5000 notes cos there is a limit to the amount of money that should be in circulation. |

idupaul: Saddened by this post .. Its either you have never stepped foot in Nigeria, heard about Nigeria, Sanusi himself or you are not a smart person at all... So which one is it .Pls tell me oo dplordx: Some warped logic your spewing here. If this is your basis and logic, then you should have simply shut the hell up, go to the joke section to post. We are talking about the most dysfunctional regime in the history of Nigeria; this admin is planning to spend 40billion naira, to print 5k note currency, to destroy an already weakened naira, and your here talking authoritatively about management. Whatever has this regime gotten right so far or managed properly? Please read Sanusi answers to your questions Here Didn't see his answers before saying almost the same thing he said. But like I sad, am indifferent about it. |
