Happy birthday perx! Manny happy returns! |
debosky:Thanks. I get your point. It therefore means we have to compile a list of stakeholders. A though call but not impossible. Deciding the parameters for appointing stakeholders will be the tough part but we can do it. I'm not sure I agree with setting aside a fixed percentage aside regardless of need. It should be needs based. What are the anticipated admin costs or estimates? I think it should be decided on a case by case basis, but rather than setting aside a percentage, I'd suggest the committee decides on it on a case by case basis, with the caveat that any admin cost above10% ( or a fixed amount like 50k) of the current purse holding should be brought to the wider house for approval.Makes lots of sense. Thanks. |
ceasyc:Madam, I have provided more explanations, maybe you should tell me the aspect of the figures you don't understand, or you mean you don't understand all the figures? |
ceasyc:I thought the figures and the explanations are clear. Let me summarize: When we made the last transfer to perx The total of £729.31 was raised in paypal account (till Feb 4th) this amounted to N178,821.30 (After transfer and bank charges) And we had a balance of N162,200 in the Nigeria account (After the initial transfer and expenses from Nigeria account which we have already detailed) Total: N178,821.30 + 162,200 = N341,021.30 (Transferred: 341,020.00 nearest denomination) After that transfer we have received additional £419.24 in paypal (from Feb 13th) and N13,000 in Nigeria. These are the current balances we have in both accounts as at of the last update and we are going to transfer them soon. I hope it is clear now, if not let me know what part is yet to be cleared, maybe Jarus who is an accountant will help us clarify. |
Ivynwa:I tend to agree with you. Wait o, you no understand Yoruba and you wrote it down so perfectly? Or you get a Yoruba boy helping you out? ![]() |

Goodluck Jonathan's London Jamboree https://saharareporters.com/sites/default/files/page_images/articles/2012/goodluck_pat_prince.jpg?1330029616 https://saharareporters.com/sites/default/files/page_images/articles/2012/goodluck_london.jpg?1330029606 Nigerian President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and his handlers made a BIG DEAL of British Prime Minister. David Cameron’s “London Conference on Somalia" leaving serious security challenges at home. Jonathan left Nigeria with two Presidential Jets, his wife and over 47 handlers, arriving in London with fanfare, the Nigerian President did not play any significant role during the entire proceedings, that role was left for President of Djibouti Ismail Omar Guelleh who applauded “the unique character and timeliness of this conference on Somalia”. President of Uganda Museveni who spoke about the importance of controlling the Somali mainland to prevent piracy and advised that international efforts should be focused on securing Somalia. Kenyan President Kibaki who welcomed the United Nations resolution in support of (amisomsomalia) African Intervention Force on Somalia. No word from President Goodluck Jonathan, aside his famous handshake with David Cameron. The Nigerian President appear to be on a Jamborree to an event he could have sent delegates or attended only if he had something meaningful to contribute. http://saharareporters.com/article/goodluck-jonathans-london-jamboree-list-attendees |
Our sincere appreciation to everyone. 1st, I want to assume that no one has any objection to the structure and mode of operation of TeHN. 2ndly, from the look of things, majority of the contributors welcome the idea of having a website while Nairaland remains our base. 3rdly, on CAC registration; while it is a good idea, looks like it will be better we push it till later time while we continue to operate within the confine of Nairaland. @ Debosky Actually we do not have a number in mind. sometimes in the middle of our activities we get a lot of these criticisms. We only want to give room to discuss all these issues openly. Our conclusion will be based on simple majority from those who participate in the discussion. No we are not waiting for 800,000 or 1000 responses, neither do we see the need to add a poll cos we are not just interested the number of those for or against, we are more interested in the arguments/ intelligent points for and against the issues. So we simply open a matter for a day or 2 and reach a conclusion from the number of contributions we get. @ all One other crucial issue we will like to bring to open and reach a conclusion on is the issue of setting aside a small percentage of the contributions for administrative expenses. Is it a good idea? If so what percentage is reasonable enough? Thanks. |
Mandela is still alive, just got an email from a close source that reads: Subject:OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED : NELSON MANDELA IS NOT DEAD |
OAM4J:After the details above. the attached is the current state of account for perx. Please we still welcome more contributions. God bless you as you give towards this project.
