Funny how a meeting that suppose to discuss Yoruba unity dwelled more in disuniting Yorubas. |
Ngwakwe:lol, possible. If such person should contact me, I go employ desola, Sango, Oya, Ogun Amadioha and the 16 Alegemos from my mother's town to curse the hell out of him or her. My conscience and the future of my future-generations is not for sale, not for all billions stolen/missing. I want a better country that my future generations can be proud up. |
atlwireles:Save themselves? Then why do we have Police and armed forces if they have to save themselves? And when Sanusi told them to fight for themselves many of you accused him of calling for anarchy since it is the job of of the government to fight for them and secure them. |
EUROBOMBER:Governors' Forum was unanimous in calling for state police, but Jonathan was jittery that they state police will be abused by Governors. You guys just locked up your brains while attempting to defend the indefensible. So we should blame Hisbah for not crushing Boko haram that operates in many states and spare Nigerian police, Army, DSS, Air force, navy and their Commander in Chief, right? Your reasoning is amazing, This is why I find it difficult to engaging some of you Jonathanians in a debate. |
funkybully:How much do you know of Hisbah? calling Hisbah Kano state police shows you are ignorant or half educated. |
atlwireles:It baffles me that some people like you still think Boko haram is a Muslim or Northern thing. You might have a point when they were bombing the churches and areas mostly occupied by southerners. But for God sake those people killed here were Muslims and mostly from the North. If we keep on with this silly notion that has failed us from getting solution by making it a Muslim, Northern or a political party problem which exactly is the card our commander in chief is playing, then we will never get a solution to this problem. Life is life and life is sacred, whether it is of your kinsman or not, we should value it and all together feel concerned. The only crime those that died committed was being Nigerians and having a clueless head of government and C in C. In a sane country, everyone will join their voices together, give their head of state an ultimatum to fix the problem or demand for his resignation. It is happening in the North today, tomorrow it might be in your part of the country... Those who died today are not related to you, and I pray it never involves any of your relatives before you put the blame at the right quarter and demand for real solution. As for me our president and Commander in Chief has failed us; QED! |
funkybully:You called a Governor of a state the chief security officer, when even the state commissioner of police will not take orders from him? They asked for state police, The federal government said 'No', with what security forces will he secure his state? Blame the guy that commands all the security officers; The police, army, DSS, Navy, Air force etc.. |
I totally agree with Keyamo. I consider myself a gentleman, but if I find myself in those legislators' shoes, I will not only jump the fence, I will pull down the gate with the wall if I have the means to. They have every right to be in that chamber without any harassment to do what Nigerians voted and employed them to do. If they had not jumped the fence, it would have been another 'Ekiti' impeachment. I also commend those legislators. |
aljharem:Aburo, stop embarrassing yourself, there are many learned people here. This is not about APC, this is about, common sense, decency and the rule of law. 1. Where does the constitution of Nigeria says the speaker or his deputy cannot travel out of their state? 2. Permit? (Dont make me laugh!), Who does the speaker seek permission from? The Governor? 3. Leave without notice? You mean the speaker must notify everyone of his whereabouts even when the house is not in session? 4. Can you educate us about this due process? 5. Missing from where? The part of the constitution you quoted about a member of the House vacating his seat in the House is a general application for removing a member from the house not for removing the speaker. Even if you must apply it, read the underlined again: (f) without just cause he is absent from meetings of the House of which he is a member for a period amounting in the aggregate to more than one-third of the total number of days during which the House meets in any one year; You mean the speaker and his deputy have been absent from house sitting for about a third of their meetings this year? or they were sacked because they were not part of one kangaroo sitting of last week? Stop fooling yourself aburo, read and understand the constitution before quoting it, where you don't understand or incapable of understanding, ask questions. |
aljharem:What are you really on about? What constitution are you talking about? What duty was abandoned? Is it unconstitutional for a speaker of another state to travel to Lagos or anywhere in the country or out of the country? Are there no procedure for convening the house? Was the house duly convened and the speaker and his deputy found missing? Who is a fool here that doesn't know this group-7 illegally convened the house at the dictates of their thug master Fayose to do his bidding? Stop this arguments like Nigerians are fools. Well, may be Lagbaja is right about Nigerian 160 million 'mumus', but am definitely not one. |
@OP I watched the entire video, I cant see any slapping, I saw someone holding the Senate president but no slapping. Can you post a screenshot of the exact slide where the slapping took place, in case my eyes were deceiving me? Otherwise you change the title of the thread or I'will change it if i don't get a response soon. Thanks. |
This is seriously uncalled for. What is this country turning to? A lawless country? |
jennykadry:My very 1st wife, na me o. How you dey? Gboliwe:Sorry, saw your complaint after it has been attended to. I have warned the antispam bot on your behalf ![]() |
semitunde:TeHN is owned by Nairalanders and it is for the service of Nairalanders. None of the executives of TeHN takes any personal glory for any and all of TeHN projects. The credit of all TeHN successful projects belongs to all Nairalanders. Without Nairlanders, there is no TeHN. There is no mix-up. |
naijababe:Very True Iyalode! Thank you everyone. Please keep the funds coming, we really need lots of it. This is the time to get those politicians campaigning for your votes to prove to us how compassionate they are, get them involved in this. Every little help/amount counts, no amount is too small. God bless you as you safe a life. |
bebe2:Please be patient. We are aware of the urgency of the matter. We are doing a lot more work behind the scene for better results. TeHN just got all the necessary clearance to take up the case and we will do our best with everyone concerned. All the details needed will be provided in due course without going forth and back. Thanks. |
