If only we have all matured people here, why not?
But we all can help by ignoring and keep reporting them.
Fact is they are few but they make the loudest noise. |

Politics › Re: N20,000 Fine For Dropping N5 Water Sachet In Osun by OAM4J: 7:35pm On Jun 07, 2011 |
Jarus: The penalty is outrageous. N2,000 is more realistic and deterrent enough. Where will Iya Alaba elewa or pupil Luku get 20,000 to pay as penalty for careless disposing of water sachet? Abeg I agree. I guess the aim is more of preventive than punitive. Once you know you cant afford it, you wouldn't dare do it. |

Eko Ile: And mine wasn't?
This is a topic about Imo state and not Lagos state. So what's Lagos state and it's leaders got to do with the topic? Should discussing issues about imo state = insulting and disrespecting leaders in other state? And that's not ethnic and tribal sentiments?
Are you for real or your just talking just for the heck of it?
Again, quit being selective with your dishonest and disingenuous actions. This is really irritating.
Give people a little power and they go blind and see just what they want to see. How many times do I have to say it that there is nothing wrong with discussing or comparing leaders. I have no problem with your post/defends, but once it includes a word/phrase of insult I will have to delete the whole thing. . .I do not have the power to modify it. Again, make your defends and claims, but do it without insulting anyone/ethnic group. And i have no reason to be selective against you, I doubt you are more Lagosian than me or that you love fashola more than me. |

Politics › Re: Okorocha Declares Imo Bankrupt by OAM4J: 6:11pm On Jun 07, 2011 |
Eko Ile: But you are yet to tell us what Fashola and Tinubu got to do with the topic and who made Tinubu Fashola's Godfather?
Quit being selective. A poster compared Okorocha with Fashola - There is no problem with that. Another poster thinks Fashola is Tinubu's Godson - I have no problem with it, it is the poster's perception/opinion that can be argued/discussed without throwing insults. But when in the course of defending your arguments, you starts calling posters/whole ethnic group insulting names, then I have a lot of problem with that. Make your points and arguments, but do it without insulting any poster or any ethnic group - statements like "it sucks to be Yorubas/ibos/Hausas" is totally unwarranted. |

kasiem: All this hypocritic rants from my Yoruba brothers are just ruse to save themselves the ignominy of being treated risibly. Okay, u guys are claiming that the umpteen years of pdp's leadership in your zone gain u nothing without telling us what Ad as a regional party got for u guy. We must be pragmatic with the manner we showcase intellect alfresco, cos nigeria's education sector is not as bad as making people to be dumb. How can be claiming that u want jettison mainstream politics and yet u want Fashola to be president in future? Is that one minorstream politics? For those of u claiming that leadership positions doesn't do any good to the zone of the leader, it's either u myopic or unrealistic. Anyim as a leader got many ebonyians employed, akunyili with her clout brought nafdac outlet to her village agulu, soludo as cbn governor employed many igbos in cbn, chidoka as chairman of frcn filled the whole place with igbos, ihejirika as coas has attracted a barrack to ohafia, gej as presido has successfully placated his kinsmen with full implementation of the amnesty programme, the northerners has the best government roads. If we must rebuff zoning and tribalism in nigerias politics, then, we have to go back unitary system of government that was propagated by ironsi, with a constitution that will deter one tribe from lording others. How can u come out "after enjoying your own part of the zoning cake", and say zoning is dead? At whose expense? Who is fooling who? So you think zoning is still much alive after this House of rep election? if not who do you blame for killing it? |

^ thanks Violence: Oyo bans NURTW
Following the renewed violence recorded in the state in the last few days, the Oyo State Government on Monday banned the activities of the state council of the National Union of Road Transport Workers across all the motor parks in the state.
The decision was taken at an emergency meeting of the State Security Council presided over by the state governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.
The governor read the communiqué released at the end of the meeting which was attended by heads of the various security agencies in the state, including the Police, Army, State Security Service, Immigration, Prisons and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps. http://punchng.com/Articl.aspx?theartic=Art2011060623193679 |
