What can I say? We appreciate Ghanaian women too.
No wonder Nigerian men can be sooo annoying, why not when we have blind women blowing their ego.
Better stop this your hating, you and I know that your idi belongs to a Yoruba man Nkan to ma je di arugbo lo fi nse sakara. |
Say NO to drugs! It kills! |
I really hope Amosun performs exceptionally well. He cannot even afford to be average. |
*in a whispering tone* . . . so Mukina told you already we have triplets; 2 boys and a girl? Mukina no dey hear word, I told her not to tell anyone about the baby girl because of all these unmarried guys around Imagine Seun saying if we have a baby girl, he will not marry until our baby turns 18 ![]() abeg just keep everything secre secret sha ![]() |
ok. no worries. she will get back to you as soon as she comes back from maternity leave, cos she just delivered my twin babies. ![]() pls dont tell anyone on Nairaland yet, we are keeping it a secret ![]() |
Interesting! I didnt know I got two for the price of one. Lucky me. Since having Mukina is having you cos you two are one, you can as well do all I ask Mukina to do ![]() |
hahahahaha. Mukina and I are one, telling you is the same as mukina telling you ![]() |
^^yes nao, In fact I was hoping after telling me, she will later demonstrate it to me. It is important for me to understand clearly what Egbe Nak was saying cos I think he was making a very very serious point and only Ileke idi has the key to unlock the details to me. ![]() Anyway the thread is a joke and there is no better way to respond to it than to make a joke out of it, hoping that it will go down faster than my boxers ![]() |
me I want to chat privately with you jor ![]() |
hahahaha very funny ![]() |
iice:OK. In that case, can we have your AIM, MSN, YIM and facebook names? ![]() |
If it were merit alone, then women would probably be close to 50% (unless we believe that women are less talented at leadership than guys.) Yet for some reason, they are not anywhere near this #. That should tell you that more than merit goes into this stuff. Anyway, let's do the 35% for 20-30 years, then hopefully at some point after that it won't be necessary.
The problem is that many Nigerian/African women are to scared to contest election. they need to be brave and courageous. No one will notice how good/brilliant they are if they do not come out of their quiet corners. They cannot continue to rely on the president giving them appointments just cos there is a 35% representation that should be met. A right that is a gift is no right, you must earn and enforce your right.
I agree with you. Let women win because they're quipped with the required credentials, not because they're women. But you also forgot to take into account that Nigerian politics is made extra hard for women.
I do not see Nigeria political terrain becoming easier for women any time soon. Women like you just need to take the bull by the horn. Take a sample of this political section of NL for instance, how many females come here to discuss politics like they discuss romance? |
I really dont support the 35% women representation. Let the office be occupied by the most capable (male or female) And about time women stick to their gender equality principle, they should win and get political offices by merit and not just because they are women. |
Egbe Nak:Ileke idi, how fast do your pants go down? I need to know so I can have a clear understanding of what Egbe Nak is saying. ![]() |
Obiagu1:I dont think so. They can remain political associations, but to be a duly registered political party, it should meet certain minimum requirements after a period of time. |
OK sir. May 29th is here. |

AjanleKoko:Me tough ke? So you no know people who registered only this year wey don get more than 5000 posts? |
