A member complained here in this thread, Desola, seeking for a public apology from me, for wrongly banning her. I tendered the apology and adviced members to desist tribal slur in that same apology. But why you went and removed those 2 posts is what i dont understand. Her complaint shouldnt be hidden, the same with the apology. Where else. Isnt that what this thread is for? Please, OAM4J, you are acting as if you are the only mod in this section. Its very wrong. You dont get to decide yourself alone how your co-mods carryout their functions. I was pulled into this Section because of the mess this section had turned into. At the beginning, i quietly asked you to stay out of this, so that we dont allow tribal bigots to create conflicts between us, but its like thats what you wanted. Please, dont frustrate my work here. I have been staying away from other mod work in this section and concentrating on reducing tribal hate. Meaning, am not here to challenge you. As soon as sanity is restored, believe me, i will take my leave.

I have no apology hiding them. They were degenerating into something else, derailing the purpose of the thread and you did nothing about it. I have made them visible, hope you wont watch and allow them derail the thread again.

Have nothing to say to the rest of your rants.

Not sure there is a rule against misspelling public figures names. Will look into it with the admin/supermods.

But it is an insult to misspell members' names deliberately. I know a fellow who used to refer to me as OAM419, that I overlooked and didn't ban him does not make it right or means we will not ban if another member's name is deliberately misspelled.

OAM4J: Okoro, Omo-Nna, Yoruba, oily-soup, aboki and the likes are not acceptable. They are seen as tribal slurs. Except you are sure the real names of the person you are referring to are Okoro, Aboki, Iyabo etc.

I have stated the above before now.

We are not debating this.

Nigerians hardly vote like normal people do. We often base our decision on primordial sentiments that include the whiff of money, ethnicity, religion, position and so on. Who knows, despite our excruciating pains in the hands of the PDP hawks, Jonathan might still manage to hypnotise enough Nigerians with his Fresh Air razzmatazz? Elsewhere, PDP would have long been consigned to the dustbin of history but not in our long-suffering and eternally resilient and reticent country called Nigeria.
