Key takeaways:-

1. There will likely be big provisions for NPL again this year but not as high as in 2016.

2. Overall, we are expecting a surge in PAT and EPS from this year going forward.

3. FBN is taking a lead in transaction income (Non-Interest Income) due to its leadership in e-channels' market.

4. From what I gathered, (I came in late) I think NPL ratio is currently above regulatory level to pay dividends. FBNH allowed FBN Bank to retain all its earnings.

I don't expect a higher than normal dividend in FBNH.

They did not serve us item 7 oo, only colder than normal AC and a bottle of Ragolis water at the point of exit.

I understand that is your own target profit but its not every time one make a kill like that lets face it. When one see that the market is moving against expected trend, of course one quickly take the available exit to avoid being trapped...At this point you are fixed on preserving your capital at zero or minimal profit. This happened to me in Diamond stock. I entered at N0.95 when the rally occurred I quickly exited at N1. Though, its always sweet if the desired profit level is attained before selling....

But When you noticed the stock still got some fuel JIJO is unnecessary.

The House of Representatives on Thursday invited Godwin Emefiele, Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Ibrahim Magu, acting Chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over N12 billion virtual currency scheme involving 60,000 Nigerian investors. Uzoma Nkem-Abonta, Chairman, House Committee on Public Petition who issued the directive at the end of the investigative hearing on the petition instituted by Philemon Ibrahim Gora, also directed Ibrahim Idris, Inspector General of Police, to appear in person before the committee on 30th May, 2017. The petitioner alleged that Diamond Bank unlawfully closed down the account of cash flow and withheld fund deposited in the account worth N12 billion. Gora who assured the Committee of paying all the depositors as soon as the account is unfrozen, lamented that he was informed that the bank account has been frozen on the orders of EFCC and CBN, when he wanted to refund his clients.
