I personally don't think it's unethical. I would have said it was were the case still in his courts.

They might not have even had any romantic feelings for each other while the case was ongoing.

It's possible they might have met again after the case at a party/ function and started talking, got friendly and feelings developed from there.
Or they might have met at a club, got drunk slept together, and she got pregnant.

These are different scenarios, but no one can actually say for sure when those two started their relationship, or when they both started developing feelings for each other.

The former husband wanted a divorce, took his wife to court and probably she also agreed to the divorce with no contentions, the judge can't force them to remain together. I'm talking of normal divorce cases provided both parties want the divorce, no judge has the right to force them to stay together. He may only ask them to stay and try to resolve their issues if either party doesn't want the divorce, but apparently both parties wanted the divorce and they were granted their wishes.
The man could have withdrawn his divorce petition out of court if he was still interested in the marriage, and nothing like that happened. Remember, they've been separated for at least 10 months before the divorce became finalised. He had 10 months to mend bridges and keep his family together but he didn't do that.
Yeah, the story sounds so "funny- one kind" but really, I don't think anyone has the right to tell an adult who to fall in love with, or how to live their lives. The got together AFTER the divorce. The divorce brought them to meet, I think it was just a chance thing.

I'm the VP of a public secondary school. We know the problems of delinquency in children. The teachers who did that to her are not mad and they are parents too. That girl must have contravene school rules. Disciplinary measures in school include flogging, but not to maim a child. Most parents take sides with their children on matters of discipline and even assault the teacher for correcting the child. It is even more embarrassing to observe that people make sarcastic comments on this issue. We flog our children at home when they go wrong. Spare the cane and spoil the child!

dude, some guys don't take the heed. There are guys that are being stringed along as friends for as long as they can remember, and if you ask them, the girl is their girlfriend. Don't let some invisible likes or few minutes of fame on the internet override your sensibilities and INEC procedures in documenting the conduct of an election.

For those accusing the corps member of getting into unnecessary wahala, service year is a compulsory service offered to Nigeria. You do not decline government's posting although there are smart ways to excuse yourself. You are an available pool of resources for the government as it deems fit during NYSC year. Why make elections a battle?
Why don't we focus on politicians making their domain a battle ground? Elections aren't hard to conduct but our people make it hard!


If the corps member is working for INEC as an adhoc staff, I don't expect him or her to give out any party's name otherwise, your position as an umpire is in another 'empire state of mind' then.


Your story will be more useful at the courts and not social media. Whatever people say hear will not be valid in the court of law. I even understand the desperation of our politicians to bombard the media with false and unverified news so that when it's time for the electoral body to perform it's function of announcing results, these 'news' stand as basis for conspiracy theories. Let's make responsible use of the (social) media.

To start a riot in the North is very easy using the BBC, all they need is just a false claim that Northerners are being killed in Enugu or Mile 12 or Ibadan and within minutes everyone has heard it and they can quickly mobilize for a counter attack or start rioting.
BBC Hausa service is dangerous to the unity of Nigeria Boko Haram has subtly used them to spread propaganda during GEJ time which made the average Northerner to believe then that GEJ was behind Boko Haram.
