I can only say u that both stocks are a BUY for us.
With or without that factor, both assets have been unjustly underpriced.(current valuation in view)
...and it can only be a matter of time before their current mkt prices rises to reflect their earnings drive and bridge the gap with inherent VALUE !!

But then again, this is NOT an investment recommendation.

My advise: Just follow ur instinct.
Thanks

This means that the Saudis may have to make do with approx 4M bpd of oil output !!
In the short term, this is a plus for oil price. Mid-term impact will however depend on how fast and well the kingdom restores outage by recovering lost qtys.

This should lend a helping hand in support to the Nigerian economy(short term revenue-earnings in view) given that the country had just agreed to a supply cut in the last opec meeting.
In retrospect, the shortfall in revenue from reduced supply can be supported by higher pricing.(while it last)
That said, I still believe that the mid to long term future prospect of oil remains bleak.
Unfortunately, the thing about gross incompetence means that our leaders are yet to realize or perhaps come to terms with that.

In the interim, this should indirectly aide some of the factors that could transmit positive vibes in the equity market.

...I expect a further boost in the current positive mkt trend.
Do think this will push FO and Conoil prices North?

Where were you when Oga Oracle and Prof taught us about not selling all dividend paying stocks once you have your name in the Registrar's book? huh
You've seen result of not reading your notes or missing class bah. smiley
Anyway, you are NOT supposed to SELL ALL to keep your name constantly in the Registrar's book. You should have leave 10 units or so. One of the vital notes I can't forget.......and it's working for me now.
Ironically, even if you sell All your units, your name is still on the register, but you will need to do edividend mandate for any fresh units you buy.

The Civil case is also linked to the criminals case.

If the criminal case failed to stand, what will be the base of the civil case.

If the case is still under investigation, why is your Lawyers demanding money.

Stop the lies, she should pay her lawyers.

“Importantly, the N10m quoted by the media is the cost of the action carried out by her lawyers, to wit, litigation fee.

Hello Bosses, I am new on this thread and willing to learn big time.
I have some money I will like to invest, I searched through the net and I find Treasury Bills, mutual funds and Fixed deposit intresting due to little risk associated with them. I will be happy if you all can give recommendations on the best to go for and the financial institutions/houses with best offer. Other similar investment advices will be appreciated.
Thanks.
I would recommend you go for TB if your risk is low

https://www.nairaland.com/878880/treasury-bills-nigeria/856#81535489

For mutual funds, go for money market funds, from Stannic, ARM .

I don't recommend fixed deposits.

With the recent face-off with South Africa, I do not expect any wise person to still be expecting something positive from MTN shares. I see their shares taking a nose dive; some Nigerians are already porting to other network. Beside that, I see their financials dropping negatively.

I smile when I observe the current 'play' in DF.
I can sense the desperation to get the present holders to give up on their stake. wink cheesy grin

Though I currently do not hold the stock, I would'nt exit now if I were in. ...especially if one had keyed in @ a fine discount to the N24 buy out peg.
That's an asset with a short-term guaranteed 20% ROI @ the current mkt price.
An ACTUAL RETURN u'll never get... even in the fixed income space.
Like I said in the past; Unless ur a technical expert with a tested and reliable trading strategy(which will still have limitations), its better to align ur funds with what is a seeming possibility in DF(actual return) than a seeming probability in a different coy(expected return).
...considering the volatile nature of the market at this time.
Instead of selling off DF, I'd rather 'secure it' and look for additional fund to play other coys.

So to those who are still holders, worry not !!
When 'the backdoor manipulators' are done with their gimmicks, those who know why they're in, will still reap their reward.
I would've thought that by now, they will sell and push the price down to N18 so folks can accumulate more. ...but instead they are camping with 'prototype virtual vols' @ near 10% premium to the ref price of N20 at the offer side of trade. ...before mopping any 'fear' that's created from depressed pricing.
I have observed a similar trend in AIICO, ZENITH and ACCESS BANK.

Remember;

"The stock market is like an unending race with plenty of obstacles and more 'virtual than real spectators' running with u.
...but along the way, it ALWAYS rewards those who 'can see through the other side of those obstacles' and run it WITHOUT tiring out."
~Sinclair
This advice is timely .

Was thinking of jumping out of DF @ 15%

Sense will not kill you my brother.

Just take a look at the facilities to be provided and tell me how any local community and economy will not develop from it.

These wailers are the same jokers that were chastising the Fulanis for still practicing outdated methods, and crying about cows on runways. Now that the governor is literally making concrete efforts to modernize their methods and transform them from nomadic to sedentary farmers, they are still crying their eyes out.

To further showcase their shallow thinking, some are asking why the state did not funnel the funds to education, as if the funds were not already earmarked by the FG for this exact purpose (they're also completely blank to the fact that this project will invariably boost the IGR of the state which can then fund education).

As e dey pain them, e dey sweet us beef stakeholders jare cheesy grin cool
If these facilities has been provided all-over the North before now we won't have this crises in our hands.

Now you suddenly remember them for RUGA.
