Me that i am talking to you know that the midfield was the reason we lost and Iwobi was the weaklink in the middle of the park, but people shold stop abusing/attacking him, he could be anybody's child, bullying damages self-confidence. I am sure he did his best. Nobody fails intentionally

Iwobi was shit for most of the tournament. Fans complained, TV pundits did too, but the coach kept playing him.

We lost the midfield game yesterday so the attack couldn't master any counter as nobody fed them. Osimhen had zero shot on target.

Nobody should even try to come for Osimhen, Football na team game, if the coach set up a midfield that is diconnected from Osimhen, what will Osimhen do....the coach takes the blame all day, wrong personnel cost us that game, Simon on the bench for chukwueze, Iwobi not getting subbed for Yusuf early enough. Giving the boys instructions to scuk the pressure instead of going out, CIV midfielders just strolled

Don't be the reason another man's child will be pushed into depression.. People should be nice. The loss hurts us all, stop attacking Alex Iwobi, he is just a boy trying to do his job. SOme of you abusing him cannot even get things done at your place of work. And you are attacking him for not playing well.

the problem with this AFCON is that at this point, both teams CIV and Nigeria are motivated to win. However the trajectory to final may mean CIV players will play under less pressure, since na God even carry dem reach where dem dey now. Also they seem to have more rugged midfield as a whole, Iwobi needs to step up in terms of physicality and also contributing to disrupting flow of CIV passes. It is a pure 50-50. the team that takes first initiative will win. A see a 2-0 lead with a consolation 1 by the trailing team towards the end.

African football dun change, the smaller footballing nations have realized that they also have that strong African bones like the big boys, they can also be equally good if we are being honest. It's now down to who wants it more on the day. No one sits back for the big boys to bring the fight to them anymore. Meanwhile the less successful countries play with less pressure, the players are free to express themselves, they big ones like US have the burden of favorites and expectations on their shoulder already, so they can be less expressive.

The midfield needs to be solid and brutal and fierce. They need to bully SA in the middle of the park. Otherwise we may find it difficult. Our defenders so far have done pretty good. The attack have been a bit wasteful but overall decent. If we can create a no-contest situation in the middle of the park, then we will at least create some luck in 90mins. Iwobi has been excellent on the ball for me, I just hope the other guys can cover up in the physical part and be tough and bully SA players off the ball in the first 15mins, so they can look for other means and leave the middle for us

the problem is that most countries don't allow non-citizens to carry. And why would any Nigerian want to go and hustle for SA citizenship...to let ur kids be dancing Zulu or to expose them to a society filled with laziness and inferiority complex about visitors. I dont know what Nigerians find desirable in that country. If my money making system is in SA, I will do business their, pay tax but definitely keep my family away.
