If not they will have to sack him from his job.
He can not play the game in uyo too.
Because many of you have to understand how Nigeria work. If not they will sack him. Some people are paying for his salary. Some decided not. the
If your people decided. You want to be on the team. Why are you people trying to get on the team.

robosky02: The Chelsea midfielder and Manchester City forward were included in the squad to face Taifa Stars in September Afcon qualifier
Coach Gernot Rohr has invited 23 players for next month's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Tanzania in Uyo.
Although the game is inconsequential, the fixture serves as rehearsal for Super Eagles’ 2018 World Cup qualifier against Zambia in October.
Heading the list are Mikel Obi, Kelechi Iheanacho and Leicester City new signing Ahmed Musa as Rohr seeks a winning start in his new assignment.
Others are Carl Ikeme, Odion Ighalo, Ogenyi Onazi, Victor Moses and Elderson Echiejile.
Nigeria U23 goalkeeper got rewarded for his sterling outing in 2016 Rio Olympics as he joins Ikechukwu Ezenwa in the goalkeeping department.
However, Rizespor defender Godfrey Oboabona was axed from the team, with Alex Iwobi missing owing to a hip injury suffered while on duty with Arsenal against Liverpool. With Nosa Igiebor getting a recall for the first time since missing the Super Eagles’ squad to 2014 World Cup Brazil.
Invited players are expected report in Uyo on Sunday, 28th August 2016.

Daniel, Ekong, Awaziem, Osimhen, Imoh all from the U23 squad good adds! I'm sure Etebo too would have been added too if not for his injury. We have a wonderfully blessed squad. What we need now is tactical input and some good old German work rate! I think NFF did good to get a German coach. German football is at the top right now and we can learn a thing or two from them! |

Yesterday it was Habiba Daggash being celebrated for earning a first class in Engineering from Oxford, and a few weeks ago it was another brilliant northern gentleman that was similarly being celebrated.
While some are already bitter at the rising trend of Nigerians from the North using their brains to paint our country in brilliant colors thereby puncturing the narrative they love to peddle about the North, we will continue to celebrate the fact that we are developing skilled manpower for a brighter future for the region and Nigeria as a whole. The internet will rewire the northern stereotype in no time.
Congrats Tani. Must you put a tribalistic spin on this story? Why not just celebrate her as a pride to her country first and foremost and hope she chooses to return to contribute her quota to the growth and development of this country and not choose to remain abroad in hope of securing her future over there? Must we always be politically or religiously divisive in our comments and orientation and yet still insist on one Nigeria Everyday on nairaland it is north against south, zombies against wailers or Christians against Muslims!!! Which way Nigeria?? |

deji15: That is your opinion, which I believe is not shared by many. Where and when others see problem, some sees solution and opportunity. Such is life. Take care. Unfortunately for you, that is the reality of things at hand. It is the harsh truth. People are well aware now that this much touted change is nothing more than a scam. So stop trying to mislead people all these empty honey coated promises. I remember someone who said a responsible government will solve the Nigerian power problem in 6 months only for him to be given the mantle of leadership and be blaming Jack and Jill as if he was not aware these challenges existed before? Regardless to say Nigerians will survive this black period in our history and will be stronger regardless. That has always been our hallmark as Nigerians. Propaganda or not.... Blame game or not.... deji15: No need of throwing insults around. Well brought up people don't do that. We may disagree to agree. You are entitled to your opinion and so am I.
The school feeding programme is not the only item on the budget that targets bringing people out of poverty, unemployment and addressing our infrastructure decay.
- The Govt plans to employ 500,000 teachers nationwide and I hope you have applied through the online portal in case you do not have a job - 25,000 Nigerians will be trained in the area of Creative, Technology Software / Hardware and another 75,000 in the areas of building services, construction, utilities, hospitality and catering, automotive vocations, aluminium and gas services. Hope this one will interest you should in case you are not interested in teaching. - And if you are a student, there is Education support grant programme for 100,000 tertiary students in Science Technology Engineering & Mathematics, STEM and education. - That old and fragile woman that lives across your street, who could not fend for herself due to old age or other disabilities, is likely to be a beneficiary of 5,000 naira stipend from the Govt. - In case you are a building / construction professional, it will interest you to know that contractors are back to site and some of them will be looking to put Engineers, Architects, Accountants, builders, trades people (carpenters, Iron benders / workers, bricklayers, etc), technicians, technologists etc back to work. - Loans to traders and artisans. - If you are a big player, with Government throwing wide open the importation of fuel, this is an opportunity for you to get in. - With the ban on the importation of certain goods and food items, the opportunity is there to pick up the slack by getting into food production. Be it rice, tomato, wheat etc. - Growing cashew, cocoa and other cash crops has never being more lucrative than now... - And many more... Don't get too carried away with the Government trying to help the vulnerable among us. I am sure there is something in this budget for you or your family member. @op like I earlier said, this budget is nothing more than an ambitious sham. That is why even before 10% implementation, caveats are already being introduced about implementation on basis of priority etc. But back to the topic at hand, is school feeding the most judicious use of scarce funds for social welfare during these difficult times. Categorical NO. What we just have here is akin to the case of giving first aid treatment to a critically injured person and pointing out that half bread is better than none. Don't even get me started on the 5000 joke or the 23 k graduate employment scheme when the same government is groaning under the weights of salaries! Why was the youwin programme not carried over or improved upon? Enough of this mass propaganda and economic placebos. |

deji15: - 93 billion naira is far less than what Dansuki alone was sharing among his cohorts. Anything wrong in Govt giving directly to the citizen where there will be no bogus contracts and rip off? - There is an adage that says when you remove hunger from the poverty equation, the problem is half solved. - Health is wealth. With children eating good food, their visits to hospitals due to various disease will reduce. - This is a social benefit initiative by the Government to help her citizens some of whom are extremely poor. - This will help school enrollment as this is one other incentive that will make school attractive to kids and in effect aid their learning. - There are other aspects of the 2016 budget that deals with capital projects which includes equipping and furnishing public schools. - Many have complained about how citizens of some countries are benefiting from social welfare package by their Govt, while there is none for Nigerians. What is wrong in Nigeria helping her poor citizens to feed kids who are in Primary 1 to 3? - It is a token, but it will go a long way in alleviating poverty of some citizens. - With the high price of fuel / subsidy removal due to fraud in the system and non availability of forex, consider this as a palliative to cushion the effects of the hike - This initiative will create a snowball effect whereby farmers, food sellers, kitchen utensil suppliers etc will benefit, in an organised fashion. Olodo rabata! You are part of the problem not the solution! In these hard times times, public funds should be put to the most judicious use and not to sponsoring stomach infrastructure to garner cheap popularity! We are well aware of the ailing state of infrastructure in the educational sector. Decrepit classrooms, leaking roofs, empty libraries , etc. Should chairs and tables not first be provided to students who come to school and sit on the floor or free text books provided for them to study with or even free laptops instead of this white elephant project of feeding? Why does this government keep seeking ways to deceive the masses?? |

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: 500,000 Employed School Teachers Will Be Paid N23,000 As Monthly Salary by obi58: 10:00am On Jun 09, 2016 |
FWJOBSNG: Beneficiaries of the 500,000 direct teacher jobs scheme under the N-Power programme will have a take home monthly salary of 23,000 naira. Applications into the scheme is billed to start on june 12 through the online portal npower.gov.ng.
“Beside their monthly take home pay estimated at about N23,000, the selected 500,000 graduates will also get computer devices that will contain information necessary for their specific engagement, as well as information for their continuous training and development. They get to keep the devices, even after exiting from the programme.
“According to the plan of the Buhari administration, the N-Power Teacher Corps programme is an invaluable opportunity for young Nigerians to make immense economic and social contributions to the nation, while developing their skills. It will also help to address the problems of inadequate teachers in public schools.
“Also, persons enlisted under the scheme will gain work experience and acquire key competencies through academic and non-academic capacity building programmes intended to improve their competitiveness in the workplace. Their devices will come loaded with knowledge-oriented applications and software that will enable them acquire the skills and capacity.
“Under the N-Power Knowledge scheme, there are three aspects: Creative, Technology Software and Hardware. These three sub-divisions will train 25,000 young Nigerians in all. “5,000 of them would be trained in Animation, Graphic Design, Post-Production, Script-Writing, all under the sub-division of N-Power Knowledge-creative category.
“The N-Power Knowledge scheme also has a technology category in two aspects: hardware and software. 10,000 Nigerians would be trained, and equipped in the area of software development, including web designer, and another 10,000 in hardware expertise, including repair, maintenance and assemblage of mobile phones, tablets, computers and other devices.
“Also, the N-Power Build category was designed, realizing that the presence of a well-trained and highly skilled youth population in any economy has direct impact on entrepreneurship/wealth creation, which in turn leads to a decline in unemployment.
“N-Power Build is, therefore, an accelerated training and certification (skills to job/enterprise) programme that will engage and train 75,000 young, unemployed Nigerians to build a new crop of skilled and highly competent workforce of technicians, artisans and service professionals.”
http://www.financialwatchngr.com/2016/06/09/500000-employed-school-teachers-will-be-paid-n23000-as-monthly-salary/ Rubbish idea. What's the sense in paying a graduate 23k for 2 years ? Why not give the person this amount as a lump sum to start a business? That comes to N552,000. So does it not make sense to give out N500k loans to graduates batch by batch every quarter ? Won't that have a better effect on the economy in the short to medium term than employing teachers everywhere who will not be motivated to do give his best because of the low salary? Why not give him startup capital and encourage him to fish instead of giving him fish ? At this time as a nation, should we be increasing our recurrent expenditure ? |
